Professor Lola Rowann stood on the lawn, her black professors robe gently blowing in the breeze and a drying charm set on herself and her clothing as the rain fell about her. She smiled at the fact that those involved in the ghastly goings on at the Halloween feast would be carrying out there detention on a rainy day of all things. Humorous to say the least. She waited for Professor Lloyd to meet her and the students who would be carrying out the days detention. Smiling at what they had finally agreed upon, Professor Rowann turned at the sound of approaching steps.

Andromeda dressed in jeans and a light sweater, her hiking style boots and a light rain jacket made her way down to the lawn. She was not looking forward to this at all. She hadn't spoken a word to any of them since last night, simply hadn't time and now simply looked the worse for wear as she hadn't slept much either. Her long red hair was pulled back off her face in a pony tail, looking pale and exhausted shouldn't have suited anyone but it merely gave Andromeda a further look of detachment and serenity that she neither wanted to exhibit or felt she had. Professor Rowann was already there and walking towards her she merely nodded her head without saying anything and waited for the others to show.

Aries yawned as he headed down to the lawn, he was downright exhausted and was still nursing some bruises from the fight of the night before. Not that he was complaining, it had been the most fun he'd had since he started at Hogwarts and typical that Fenton would have to be there for it. In jeans and ti-shirt with a rainjacket on and a pair of sneakers Aries walked over to where Andromeda and Professor Rowann were standing.

"Stupefy anyone lately?" he whispered to her stretching his arm about her shoulder and giving the top of her head an affectionate kiss, "we need to talk you know that don't you?" his head was slightly turned so that his mouth was close to her ear and only she could hear what he was saying to her. Going to stand directly behind her, he placed his arms about her neck, resting his chin on top of her head as he always did when they were just milling about together.

"How's the knee?" he didn't mean to be making light of any of this but he had missed the scraps they all had, since she had started dating that Moonlight guy a few years back, Andromeda had stopped getting stuck into their fights and Merlin only knew how much of a whipper snapper she was in a scrap.

Fenton was sporting one or two injuries of his own but it was being stupefied by one of his bestfriends that had ticked him off the most. Fighting with fists was one thing but for Andromeda to come at him with a spell, he had been lucky she had been a bit emotional and hadn't hit him too hard. Thankfully Aries had the sense to release him before the professors noticed or they might have had but didn't say anything. Nervous now that they might choose this detention to list out their crimes and misdemeanors of the night before Fenton groaned aloud as he walked over to where Aries and Andromeda stood, he smiled weakly at the professor before turning to the other two.
"First ones here either we're very eager or we're very stupid" he winked, "brought your wands today Fiorelli?" he couldn't resist tweaking her and standing off to the side of two of his bestfriends waited for the others to show. Seeing Aries with his arms draped about Andromeda was nothing new at all, it was just a show of affection on behalf of Aries but Fenton knew it also meant he had probably told her that they needed to have a serious conversation. Aries didn't like coming down hard on heavy on anyone, so always tried to off shoot it with some act of kindness or something of the like.

Andromeda couldn't help but smile at Aries though had the grace to look sheepish about it with the professor near by. His request to talk with her was tempered with an embrace, she reached up and held onto his arms. Of her three surrogate brothers Aries had been the only one who had not tried to flirt with her ever and she had always liked that, but shows of affection between the two were always good and always welcomed. More so now then ever before.
"I thought you might be getting around to that soon" she mumbled, as Fenton joined them, "I have both of them actually"
she grinned hoping that they wouldn't need them for anything, she had rattled her brains as to what they could possibly be doing on the lawn for detention.
"My knee is fine by the way" she tilted her head slightly to Aries smiling at him before turning around to look out upon the lawn.

Sumner managed to not fall flat on his face on the way to the Forbidden Forest for detention. His reflexes weren't that sharp this early in the morning, not without a healthy dose of caffeine and sugar. He'd woken late and had had neither injected into his bloodstream to keep him going. Although the misting rain was doing a good job of it. It made the wind that blew damned cold but he barely felt it. His shoulder was still tender and he was careful not to jerk it about.

Spotting a few others there, grateful he didn't have to look at a snake's face this early yet, he approached them. Hands safely deposited in his pockets, he called out a greeting. "Morning!"

Lola watched them coming down in drips and draps and fervently wished they would all just get a move on. It wasn't that she disliked standing around in the rain, she positively hated it. With a curt nod to Andromeda, Aries, Fenton and Sumner she then checked her time piece, her gaze shifting back and forth between the students before her. Tempted as she was to ask how Mr. Reine was after his serious injuries, she certainly didn't want to appear as if she were playing favourites either. So with hands clasped behind her back she began to pace up and down while waiting.

Lily took a long hot shower after having spent the night in the hospital wing with Sumner. She was not looking forward to this. Detention with everyone did not scream a good time what-so-ever. She washed her hair, still long from the charm she had used the night before, then got out and wrapped herself in her towels and headed back to the dorm. She dressed quickly in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt before pulling on some socks and her trainers. Walking to he window, she looked outside to check the weather. She groaned as she realized it was cloudy and grey, a light rain falling on the ground. She moved to her wardrobe and pulled out her hoodie then a rain jacket and put them both on.

Walking out of her dorm, she headed to the common room and looked around. Damn. Sumner musta left already. Jerk coulda waited for me at least. She glared around, then moved quickly out the room and down the stairs. Pulling her hoods up around her head, she stepped outside and crossed the lawn to the edge of the forest where she saw a few of the group gathered. Walking up to them, she kept her head down, hands in her pockets. Nodding at the professor, she walked up next to Sumner, she nudged him on his good side. "How's your voice?"

Kat reluctantly got dressed appropriately for the weather outside which was dreary and damp. This was not going to be a fun day, in fact she knew there would probably be some more fighting rather it be physically or verbally. Sighing heavily Kat grabbed her jacket and headed down to the Forbidden Forest where the group from the Halloween Ball were supposed to be meeting. As she approached she felt her heart jump in her throat and she felt like she was going to throw up.

Without a word or glance to anyone she stood on the opposing side of everyone else, hoping that this morning would go off without her having to have too much interaction with those that she truly hated with every fiber of her being.

Sumner nudged Lily back, trying to hide his grin. "Voice is back. Remind me not to take a fist to my throat again." He had to admit that everyone didn't look the worst for wear that morning. A mite tired maybe but other than that, they looked fine. He knew his own face bore signs of the scuffle, though it was still healing. Split lip, yellow bruise fading around his eye. His body was a different story; black bruises all over. He'd lifted his shirt and peered into the mirror then smirked, yanking the hem of hoodie down. If it hadn't been for that damn glass shard shredding his insides, he would have joyfully kept punching away until physically stopped by the professors.

His head jerked up as Kat approached the group. Good, stay far away. He didn't want to be near her or her ginormous mouth ever again. To think they might have gotten back together. For what? For him to spill his heart to her again and give her even more ammo to shout to the world. Everyone within hearing distance of the two faced Gryffindor had heard; they now knew his mother was a drunk and that his father wasn't her husband. He pointedly turned from her to face Lily and the others.

Lily giggled as Sumner tried to hide a grin. "Glad to hear it," she said, a smile on her face. His face was healing well which made her happy. She didn't want her friend to be suffering too much. Last night he looked so much worse. Her thoughts flitted to Blake and how he looked while he laid unconscious in her arms. Her smiled faded quickly as she remembered how quickly he left the hospital. Sighing, she knew that she was going to have to face him today, a prospect that did not thrill her at all.

Following Sumner's gaze, she watched as Kat approached the group. She realized the girl looked different, harder somehow, than she was before. She looked away from the Gryffindor, turning back to the group of people that were gathered. Walking over to Andy, she stopped in front of her, Aries and Fenton. "Andy," she started softly, "I want to appologize for ruining your night. I took things too far, trying to make Blake jealous. I...I'm sorry you got caught in the crossfire." She then turned to look at Fenton and Aries. "And thank you, both of you, for coming to help out. That was real class." She smiled at the two, glad they had come to help out. "Sorry you ended up in detention though."

Ashton woke up and headed out of the dorm before anyone else woke up. Heading to the Great Hall, he scarfed down some breakfast and headed out to the forest for his detention. He was a bit shocked at the way things had gone down the night before. If his roommate hadn't been getting his arse handed to him, he wouldn't have jumped in. He really didn't have an issue with the Ravenclaw boy, heck, he didn't even know the kid. He just didn't want to see Blake go down like that. His question of who Lily's had been dating was clear, and with the nasty words they were sharing, he wondered what all had happened between them.

A few of the others were gathered already, but none that he really felt like speaking with. Sometime he would make his peace with the others but today was not going to be that day. He stood apart from everyone, waiting to find out what they were going to do.

Andromeda watched as Kat walked down and chose to stand apart from them, she didn't blame her but also thought it was going to be a very long detention with everyone at each others throats. At least it seemed like Lily and Sumner were on good terms, she watched as Lily came over to their little group and stiffened. Crispin and Lily had been all over each other on that dance floor and afterwards he had made it quite plain that he didn't want to even be her friend, the someday still rackled her. Looking at Lily now she seriously couldn't blame any of the boys last night for wanting to fight over and for her. A lump formed in her throat, as she remembered Crispin's hand on Lily's shoulder asking if she was alright. He cared for her, he was obviously getting her back to Gryffindor fast inorder to go and meet up with her afterwards. If she had even copped that fact, Andromeda would have quite happily have told him to go and let her be. She had walked enough times to her house without needing a chaperone.

Lily spoke to her and she instantly felt a tightness in her throat. Did Lily know how she felt about Crispin? No that was impossible, she meant only about the fight of course. Her night had been ruined before that, when Crispin and Lily had begun dancing. But Andromeda smiled back at Lily now.
"Apology not needed, there's nothing to forgive" she looked at Fenton and nudged Aries, "these two had probably the best night of their lives since either of them got here."
Looking up she caught sight of Ashton approaching and chose to ignore him, glancing at the other big lug near them.
"How are you doing?" she asked of Sumner, he did look pretty messed up. It was a wonder none of them ended up with brain damage after last night.

Fenton gave the Ravenclaw a wink and patted her affectionately on the arm.
"Don't even worry about it. Lily right? Aries and I had a blast" he could have done with one of those every other night of the week to relieve some of the tension and boredom around here but wasn't going to come right out and say that either though.
"Any idea what they have in store for us?"

Lily smiled as the Gryffindors accepted her appology. She felt horrible that they were all there. Breathing a sigh of relief, she spoke. "You guys are great. If I didn't feel the need to use my friends to try to make Blake jealous, we wouldn't be out here." She turned and glanced at Professor Rowann, then back at Fenton. "Not a clue. Can't be good though, we are too close to the forest." She noticed that Ashton had ventured down to join the group, but stood apart from everyone. So far, Blake was not there and that was the one face she was nervous to see.

Lola watched them all span out and smiled.
"Now now you lot all bundle together in a nice friendly group please. You were all as thick as thieves last night, where is your bonding spirit this morning then?" tapping her wand against her leg now she continued pacing as she waited for Katalina and Ashton to move over to where the others stood.
"It saves my neck from turning back and forth to speak to you all" she smiled again as way of explanation.

Sumner rubbed the back of his neck and answered Andy as honestly as he possibly could. "I'm fine. In fact," he said recklessly, forgetting Professor Rowann was within earshot, "that was the best Halloween ever." His grin was a tad smirkish, though friendly at the others. He wondered where the others were and hoped they'd get a move on. Damn snakes, holding us up.

Crispin approached the group, dressed in holy kneed jeans and a black hoodie with a large red hand print across the front. He hadn't thought this would be fun but something about having a detention sort got to his funny bone. It brought back memories of writing a horrible essay and getting caught by Manteia long ago. Bearing none of them ill will, he came up to stand amongst them. He nodded a wordless greeting, his hair covered by the hood and slightly shadowing his face.

He spotted the Ravenclaw boy who'd cold cocked him the prior evening and rubbed his jaw, looking at him with a smirk. "Lucky you didn't have fists of iron." Then his eyes were all for Andy, as long as was decently possible, before they fell upon the woods.

Aries smiled at his captain and fellow house mate, his arms still around Andy.
"Hey it's been a while since we last had a decent fight" he winked as more began to make their way down.
"Do you think we'll be heading in there?" turning his head in the direction of the forest.

Andromeda's head snapped up as if on cue and there he was approaching the group, looking more handsome than it was possible to be. Her heart began pounding like a freight train and she sighed leaning back against Aries for support. It was good to have him and Fenton here at least though try as she might to not look his way she couldn't help it and was more confused when she caught him looking back at her. How was she supposed to get through the day if he kept this up? Andromeda had heard Lily say she had used her friends to make Blake jealous and yet she couldn't shake the image of herself and Crispin together on the dancefloor or his words telling her he would like her friendship ... someday.

She slowly extricated herself from Aries' arms and stood instead inbetween Fenton and himself so that their bodies would at least block him from view.

Fenton had to laugh at the other Ravenclaw boy and held his hand out to him.
"don't think we got introduced last night man, Fenton. Fight in your corner anytime" he chuckled the guy had taken some beating and had come back fighting each and every time. Fenton had just wished he could have gotten more stuck in.
"Should make a date for the yule ball" he couldn't help but laugh a bit louder now though catching the professors eye dropped it to a chuckle instead as Andromeda came to stand between himself and Aries. Looking up he saw the boy she was holding hands with had entered the equation and frowning slightly he looked from one to the other, then deciding to do his own bit of stirring, draped an arm over her shoulder.

When Professor Rowann mentioned that she wanted Kat and Ashton to move closer to the group Kat simply glared at the woman. With her arms across her chest and fists clenching handfuls of her shirt she reluctantly moved to where she was standing on the other side of Andy and the other two boys...to where she didn't have to look at Sumner or Lily. "There, I moved over...can we get this started please? I have homework to work on," Kat said between gritted teeth, fighting the urge to cry at having to serve detention for something that she technically had no physical part in.

Chace was cranky. It'd been stellar to see Sumner out for the count- and it was even better that the Slytherin had contributed to that- but he wasn't so sure if it was worth the aftereffects. He was sore in more ways than one, skin mottled with trophies of war. He did not say anything as he approached the group of students and professors. His scowl more than reflected the interest he had in being here. Detention was not something he had endured for years now. He took a stance near his roommates, hoping to get this done and over with.

Ashton looked at the Professor when she asked them to join the others. Shrugging, he moved over next to where the guys he was fighting the previous night were. As he crossed the lawn to them, Crispin joined the group. "Hey, glad to see you up and about," he said to his roommate before turning to the others. He thought about speaking, but then decided to keep his mouth shut. He didn't want to say something to set everyone off.

Professor Rowann smiled as Gabriel approached and turned to the students. With a wave of her hand five scrolls appeared on the ground as she waited for Professor Lloyd to get closer she explained a few things to the students.
"Today you serve your detention and any more smart mouth Miss Vanderhol and you will serve another. Before you are five scrolls but ten of you. You shall be paired up, you won't get to choose. Professor Lloyd has organised who will be with who. On these scrolls are some items that you must retrieve. When you have done so, all you have to do is whisper the words 'Job is done' to the scroll and you will be brought back here. Which means... these scrolls are portkeys. They will take you where you need to go in order to collect the list of items. Myself and Professor Lloyd will not be far away if you need assistance at any time. Do not touch the scrolls until you know which group you are in and Miss Fiorelli, do not forget what day it is please."
She stepped back to await her colleague.

[Each group must touch their scroll for the portkey to work ;) do not post in the FF until professor Lloyd has issued the groups ]
