Closed Dancing Away With My Heart

Addy was still a little stunned thinking this was going to be her final dance at the school, and as she lingered by the drinks table waiting for her date, she couldn't help but feel nostalgic. She watched the lights twinkling in the air, a bit lost in thought. She'd had such an interesting time here at school. Augustus was perhaps her only friend, but that was alright. He was her best friend, and she loved him. She smiled gently. She hoped that he would still want to spend time with her after they graduated. She wasn't paying attention to the crowd, contemplating all the ways that her life was going to change after graduation.

Augustus felt a little sad, knowing this would be their final dance at Hogwarts. But he was glad to spend it with Addison. They had agreed to meet in the Great Hall, and as Augustus stepped into the hall he was distracted for a moment. The decorations were different, but they were nice. There were twinkling lights everywhere, small tables, and a rose garden. He grinned, then looked around for Addison. He spotted her and rushed over. "Addison." He said, a little breathless. "Let's go to the rose garden."

Addy smiled as Augustus appeared. She reached over, slipping her hand into his. "Yes, I would love to. Lead the way," She motioned for him to go. "You look handsome," She told him, placing her other hand on his arm and rubbing her thumb gently against it.
