Lucy was looking forward to this meeting. She was hoping there’d be some more participation this year. She tried not to let it get to her, but sometimes the showing of members wasn’t always the largest. Last year’s showcase had gone well though, and Lucy was determined to make her last year at Hogwarts count - especially since it was the fiftieth year for the school.
The room had three of its corners set up - a large amount of visual art supplies in one, musical instruments in another, and in a third, some cardboard cutouts of Hogwarts scenery and costumes.
She waited for everyone to show up, then gave a big friendly smile to the room. “Kia ora koutou*, welcome to the Conglomerated Arts Club meeting! For this meeting, I’ve decided to do something a little different. There are going to be three separate groups. First, there’s the visual artists - you are going to be working on a mural for the school in celebration of fifty years. Group number two, the musicians - you are going to compose and record a song about Hogwarts. Group number three is all the drama kids, including those interested in costumes and stage design. You’re going to make a small scene or skit imitating some of our professors. Nothing too mean, just good-hearted japes.” Lucy paused to make sure everyone was following. “I’ll walk around and keep an eye on you all and help where I can - though, remember I’m definitely more skilled at music than anything else.” Lucy gave a light chuckle.
“Also, prepare for next semester where we’ll be doing a show-and-tell! Either the work you do today, or a completely different project - it’s up to you!”

Out of Character:
Have your character pick a group and start to do the activity. If your character has overlap with more than one group, pick a group that resonates most with them. I will be updating a table with a list of who’s in what group so you can easily see who’s working on what.
Next semester, we’ll be doing a show and tell. I’m pre-emptively mentioning it so you can get thinking on something your character might work on. (I also can't remember and I was struggling to find who did the show-and-tell idea first but kudos to them.)
For simplicity:
Group One - Mural (Visual arts)
Group Two - Hogwarts Song (Musical arts)
Group Three - Professor Impression/s Skit (Dramatic arts/costumes/stage craft)
Group 1 - Mural Group 2 - Song Group 3 - Impressions Placeholder Placeholder Hazel Ashworth Placeholder Placeholder Placeholder Placeholder Placeholder Placeholder
Thanks to Camilla for the mural and the song-recording idea.
