A reputation followed Ai now that the people of Hogwarts had gotten the chance of getting to know her a little better. It was not a good one. Ai was known as an abrasive girl that thought herself to be too smart to talk to anyone that didn't have an IQ matching her's and that seemed to dislike all boys no matter how smart they where. Today for once she didn't have a book in her hands but a violin. She had managed to get it into her trunk. Her grandmother had would have taken from her if she had known that she had wanted to take to school. Things would have ended worse if she had actually caught her taking it.

Still Ai had it and was playing a soft and very somber tune while she looked out at the cloudy sky. This was the weather that allowed her to come out of her seemingly protective cacoon. Ai's skin didn't take well to much sunlight. She burned easy and it took forever for the sunburn to go away. She did mind it though. Ai never liked the sunlight anyway. Too many people came out when the sun was out. Things where more pieceful and silent when the sky was dark and cloudy.

Notes that seemed to resemble the cry of a thousenad tormented souls begging for retrabution came from her voilin as she made the self invented song go darker and darker. It seemed to match what she was feeling and what was truly in her soul. Ai never tryed to hide it anyway. It was too much trouble and Ai had a thing against people that went against thier true nature. What she was playing on the violin was her truly and purly. It would scare the skin off people that where not prepared for it.

Ali was hunting around the towers of Hogwarts, trying to find someone she hadn't met before. She heard soft dark music and followed the direction it came from.

She found a dark haired girl playing a violin by the window. "Hey?" she asked, wonderng is she would be disturbing her. She hadn't met many people through out the whole year.

((hope you dont mind me joining. ill edit if you do))

Elvera HAd just Left the Ravenclaw common room and was about to head into the grounds, when she heard the mellow sounds of a solitary violin, echoing from behind a portrate. she opened the porteate and realised that it was a passaceway, leading up some stairs. being taunted by the sound she climbed them in a trance like way, until she reached a a painting at the top, she started to open it slowly as to not distract whoever it was. she looked around the edge of the frame and realized that it was a first year she had seen about the place but not yet met playing. she waited and listened as she looked a little zoned out. a few minutes later Elvera heard footsteps climbing the stairs, she quickly pulled back and shut the portrait as she didn't want to be caught spying. however once the new comer had spoken she seemed to break the moment so Elvera opened the portrait and stepped out.

Ai seemed to be somewhat calmed by the dark tones of her violin so she didn't emidetly snap at the person that had come in. "If it pleases you." She said in a waspy voice. She continued to play but this time something more commonly known. It was still dark and haunting to say the least. Another girl came in out of a portret and Ai had to scan her with her artic eyes. "Elvera, second year. It not often I talk to the highter years." She said her voice never braking it's flat monotone. She turned back the to the girl that had come in "Ali Shaw, A Slytherin well you are welcome to listen if you wish." She said her voice as flat as ever. "The name is Ai." She said as a final thought

Ai didn't miss a note as she talked. The song picked up spead though not in a cheerful way. It readiated anger and hatred towards and unknown being. Her choppy hair sawyed as she made her bow string pass more harshly on her violin though there was little emotion on her face. It seemed like the violin could talk better than Ai ever could. Though at the moment Ai had to be carful not to bare her soul though the notes that seemed to saying more than she was. Ai never liked to be known.

Elvera shivered as the girl changed the tune. The notes were sorrowful and heartfelt. "Hi Ai, yes I'm Elvera" then she smiled at the other girl who had dark hair, not too unlike her own, "And what's your name?" she asked. as the tone of the violin changed. Elvera looked into her ice blue eyes, and saw something hiding there, she didn't know what. "wow, thats amazing" she said as the bow glances across the strings.

Ali continued to looked at Ai as she was playing, before she was distracted by a Ravenclaw coming out of the common room. She kept silent as she approached, and found they knew each other. "Ali" she repeated to Elvera. She turned her head to look outside rather than at the students, both who appeared older than her, and prehaps not wanting her. She didn't care, it was usual behaviour for people around her. "How long have you been playing?" she asked, trying to start up a nice convocasion, uncaring to where it ended up.

Elvera was getting lost in the music. it reminded her of her last summer. When Ali spoke it took a couple of seconds or this to sink in and by the time it had Ali was facing the window. "Such a pleasure to meet you Ali. Sorry i was miles away", which she was, she had felt herself drifting away. "do you play Anything, she asked Ali, as Ai seemed all intent on playing and the expression on her face seemed to focused.
