Hi all!
So, I'm heading to Italy for two weeks tomorrow with my family. We're spending a week in Rome and a week in Florence. I'm really excited!!! I won't be active until I come back, so if I'm due to plot or rp with anyone, I'll resume everything when I return.

Italy was amazing. In Rome, we chanced upon a meeting in St Peter's square, and I ended up twenty metres from Pope Francis, and got to hear Andrea Bocelli sing Ämazing Grace." We visited the Colosseum, the forum, the palatine hill, St. Peter's Basilica, and the Trevi Fountain (which was only partially open, since they're doing repairs. We also visited a huge monument to Victoire Emannuelle, and there was a wedding going on in the Church there, so a large crowd of tourists saw the bride off, and we cheered for her. Also, we saw the Castel Sand Angelo, where the Pope used to hide for defence. Then in Florence, we got to visit the palace the Medici's and Napoleon lived, which was really interesting. One of the highlights was visiting the Basilica San Croce, where Michellangelo, Danté, Galileo and Machiavelli are all buried. We saw the false David, as we were actually further than anticipated from the city, and our bus only allowed for us to have a limited amount of time actually in Florence. We were actually staying in the mountains in Tuscany, so the views were amazing. I'll upload pictures later! Tired n ow, but looking forward to normality and plotting again!
