Well, for the past week + my laptop has been horrible to me.
I tried to fix it, sort of, using system restore and back up disks and stuff Toshiba made me do to no avail.
So, my laptop is dead. Kaput. Nothing is doing anything. Hell, I tried to downgrade to XP hoping I could get it to freaking boot a OS and XP kindly informed me that I didn't have a hard drive. WTF? It's a laptop! Hard drive is inside! (I still lurve me some Toshiba, by the bye, but it's epic failing at the moment. Likely my fault.)
Anyhow, so, as a result of all of the above the below is true: [ul][li]Nick's laptop will submit to him and his bribery of computer experts in time.

[li]Nick's laptop is currently out of service, so Nick's time on the computer will be severely reduced. He can still access stuff on his family's desktop -- but that's a shared computer and he doesn't expect to be on it much.
[li]Classes likely won't be posted this week, and the past missing lessons won't be either. Unfortunatly this has been hindering me [him] (not sure which 'person' I'm writing this in anymore. ;) ) from posting the lessons. Either they won't be posted at all and I'll skip ahead a few weeks once I'm back on my technological feet, or I'll post a bunch at once and won't close them for a while.

[li]He'll still be checking PMs daily and doing his normal site routines ooc, but ic he's mostly out of commission. :) [/li][/ul]

I'm sure you won't be missing my harassing you all in spam too much anyhow. ;)

~Nick

P.S: I started a poll in this to savce you some comments.
One of the options is a clever trick and whoever chooses it dies. :shifty:

Six slaughtered in forum killing spree

It appears that after a poll was posted on the popular internet forum Hogwarts New Zealand six members of said site were killed for, quote, 'voting the wrong way'.
Administrator Nicolas King has confessed to these killings and says he still gets a good chuckle whenever he thinks of how he killed them. He also is pleading insanity and is likely to recieve a lesser sentence due to the extreme likelyhood of his defence.
The press has not been told the exact cause of death of these six victims nor have their identies yet been released but we do know that the words "Toshiba just pwnt joo" were scribbled in red crayon on each of the victims.
If you or someone you know are a part of the foruming community we urge you to vote properly in polls.

In other News:
Nick has his laptop back. It's slow as hell now (long story) but ideally it'll be back in tip-top (or better) shape in two weeks. :)
So I'm partly back on my feet for HNZ. :D

Don't feel bad. My dogs chewed up my cord for my laptop. I have a $2000 alienware laptop, that isn't even a year old yet; the company stopped making the cord after three months.

So I had to use my old computer which really sucks, and I can't find a new cord.

It appears a seventh person has been slaughtered. :p
And that really sucks, Monty. :(
