Tressa was in a rather good mood. She was feeling a lot better about the magical things she had been encountering then she had been before, now that she had spent a couple of days in this castle, the sudden appearance of talking portraits or floating candles didn't bother her so much, though now she was still trying to get used to the little elf things that ran around and got mad at her when she asked if they needed any help. She wasn't sure that was normal, but none of the other students seemed to really worry about it, so she guessed it was just the way they were. The other thing that was still getting to her was the ghosts. There seemed to be so many in this school it she thought that it was really quite strange. She definitely wasn't used to having ghosts just walking around. She hadn't realised that there was going to be so many differences between this school and her muggle one. She could easily get used to the boarding aspect, at least that was what she thought, but she wasn't sure about all of this other stuff. There were just so many variables.

What Tressa needed was some time away from the castle. Grabbing her new little friend into her arms and locking it in its little carrying cage. Tressa needed to find somewhere she could go to remind herself that she was still in the normal world and that she hadn't stepped into some crazy movie or something. Eventually Tressa found herself in some sort of Garden and feeling like she had to sit down, she found a nice little patch of ground and opened up her cage to allow her pet to roam free. Her rabbit, Burgess, named after a great legend of her father's game, immediately shot from the cage and hopped around the garden before coming back to her. When she had first gone to buy him, she had been rather concerned that he might be some kind of mystical magical bunny rabbit that was going to grow ten feet tall and naw her face off. She was pleasantly relieved when that had not happened. Instead, the rabbit had nuzzled her hands and she figured it must have been smarter then most other rabbits as she had a rabbit once before and it had not been as smart as this one. Picking up a handful of grass, Tressa tossed it at the rabbit that simply continued to wriggle its nose at her before going after the strands she had thrown.

Marcel decided that he needed to get some fresh air, he'd been looking for the room with Avie for a few hours (If not days) now with no results. He felt like giving up the hope of finding this room again, but didn't want to. He needed to find this room for Avie. Marcellus felt a bit tired, he hadn't had a good sleep in two days. The only thing that crossed his mind was the freaking room and the content of it. Personally he hoped for the thousands of beans that were stored in it, but knew there was a small chance that they were still in there, and if they were he knew that Avie's look would be priceless. Marcel slowly walked from the staircases to the entrance hall, and from the entrance hall straight to the Hogwarts garden. His favorite spot was against a large tree, Marcel stood with his back against the large tree and let himself sink down onto the ground. He'd to admit to himself, he was a little bit tired but didn't want to go to sleep, what was the matter of going to sleep anyway, he hadn't done it in three days and a little bit longer couldn't hurt anyone. Right before closing his eyes for a minute to let them rest he heard a weird animal noise. Not knowing from which animal it came, he quickly looked around to find it. His eyes fell on a little rabbit so he stood up and slowly walked towards the rabbit, not seeing its owner for a few seconds, and when he looked up he saw a young girl, about his age he guessed, sitting there tossing a handful of grass to the little animal. ''Is it yours?'' Marcellus asked friendly and smiled at her.

Tressa laughed lightly when the rabbit ran right back up to her, obviously having finished the grass. She picked up the rabbit and placed it on her shoulder where she proceeded to feed it some strawberries. Not long after she had gotten the rabbit, she had learned that it rather enjoyed strawberries. She had figured it out when she had dropped one of her own strawberries on her bed in her dorm and the rabbit had nearly nawed off her hand trying to reach the fruit. It was then that Tressa decided that it was after her own heart, because she loved strawberries too. After having strawberry juice dribbled down her neck, Tressa laughed and pulled the rabbit off of her shoulder and placed him back on the grass, tossing more grass at him when she tore it. Tressa looked up when someone addressed her and she grinned at him, petting the bunny on the back. "Yeah! His name is Burgess!" She told the boy, wondering why he was in the Garden at the moment. She wasn't sure if anyone ever came here, but it was such a pretty place, so why not? "I'm Tressa. Are you a first year too?" Tressa didn't really know any other first years, not any others outside the small group she had met that time in the library. It had been a really interesting experience that was for sure.

Marcel felt as if someone had kicked him in his stomach, he didn't knew why, but he felt a bit nervous. Trying to ignore this feeling he knelt down to have a better conversation with the girl. ''I like the little bugger.'' He said while looking down at the rabbit. He hadn't seen many rabbits in his life, since he and his parents lived in a crowded place and it wasn't really the place for other animals either than a cat or a dog. With his eyes he followed the rabbit as it got placed on the shoulder of the young girl, and looked directly into her eyes. The girl had, in his opinion, beautiful brown eyes. Before letting it go too awkward he looked away, he saw the strawberry juice that dribbled down her neck. ''You've got ehh.. You've got something there.'' With his finger he pointed at his own neck. Marcellus smiled shortly when she told him her name and asked if he was a first year too. ''I'm ehh.'' It went silent for a few seconds. ''I'm Marcellus.'' The boy held out his hand. ''Second year, Hufflepuff'' He said to the girl named Tressa with a smile on his face.

Tressa smiled at the boy as he knelt down beside her. It was nice of him to do that. He could have just stood there and make her crane her neck or actually get up, but she was glad that he didn't do that. She smiled at him when he spoke and patted the rabbit between the ears. Tressa blinked slightly when the boy mentioned that there was something on her neck. She didn't mind though, so she just shrugged. She was used to getting food dribbled down her shirt, one, from baby sitting her cousins and two from the pets she kept putting on her shoulder. She giggled slightly and shook her head at the boy. It was nice that she could talk to someone. He seemed really nice too. "It's okay. I'm quite used to it these days. You know, baby sitting cousins and all." She hadn't done it often, but baby sitting was something she had done a few times for her aunts and uncles. She didn't get paid, but she didn't mind so much. She enjoyed baby sitting, but she could only do it for a little while, because she was still young. She was looking forward to being able to do more as she got older, though now she couldn't see her family as much, seeing as she was in a different country and learning a whole different culture.

Tressa smiled at the boy's name. It sounded really nice. She liked it. "Marcellus. That's really nice. I like it. What is it? It sounds sort of...Spanish?" Tressa couldn't be completely sure but it sounded spanish. Tressa's own mother was spanish, but that was as much as she knew. She didn't know all that much about her mother other then that to be honest, because the woman had died when she was a baby. It was for this reason that Tressa found it so hard to even consider her mother her mother, she had never met the woman. Then he mentioned being a Hufflepuff. Tressa didn't know much about the houses, but she was pretty sure that was the yellow house, or something. She was sure they wore yellow, which no doubt explained the colours on the boys robes. "Oh. That's the yellow one, right? I've never met a Hufflepuff before! What are the houses for? Do you know?"
