Tressa was in a rather good mood. She was feeling a lot better about the magical things she had been encountering then she had been before, now that she had spent a couple of days in this castle, the sudden appearance of talking portraits or floating candles didn't bother her so much, though now she was still trying to get used to the little elf things that ran around and got mad at her when she asked if they needed any help. She wasn't sure that was normal, but none of the other students seemed to really worry about it, so she guessed it was just the way they were. The other thing that was still getting to her was the ghosts. There seemed to be so many in this school it she thought that it was really quite strange. She definitely wasn't used to having ghosts just walking around. She hadn't realised that there was going to be so many differences between this school and her muggle one. She could easily get used to the boarding aspect, at least that was what she thought, but she wasn't sure about all of this other stuff. There were just so many variables.
What Tressa needed was some time away from the castle. Grabbing her new little friend into her arms and locking it in its little carrying cage. Tressa needed to find somewhere she could go to remind herself that she was still in the normal world and that she hadn't stepped into some crazy movie or something. Eventually Tressa found herself in some sort of Garden and feeling like she had to sit down, she found a nice little patch of ground and opened up her cage to allow her pet to roam free. Her rabbit, Burgess, named after a great legend of her father's game, immediately shot from the cage and hopped around the garden before coming back to her. When she had first gone to buy him, she had been rather concerned that he might be some kind of mystical magical bunny rabbit that was going to grow ten feet tall and naw her face off. She was pleasantly relieved when that had not happened. Instead, the rabbit had nuzzled her hands and she figured it must have been smarter then most other rabbits as she had a rabbit once before and it had not been as smart as this one. Picking up a handful of grass, Tressa tossed it at the rabbit that simply continued to wriggle its nose at her before going after the strands she had thrown.
