Halloween was a chance to dress up and draw attention and be a star and Chip always loved going out of his way to think of creative Halloween costumes, especially when he was planning group costumes with his cousin Maggi. There was something about a group costume that made dressing up more exciting and effective, and Chip had been on his toes waiting for the Halloween feast to begin knowing how fun it would be to show up with his cousin and best friend in the most awesomest costumes ever. It would show the entire school that Chip was indeed a star and deserved applause for everything he did. After getting ready with Maggi, Chip headed down to the great hall, confident the square of ramen on top of his head the his layers of crunchy hair gel for added effect would keep his look together during the night. As Chip arrived to the great hall he smiled. “This is so fun, the funnest of the fun, we deserve to be at the centre of the dancefloor!” Chip exclaimed, looking to Maggi and hoping she agreed so they could perform one of their countless dance routines and draw the attention of all the dressed-up students in the room.

Maggi was super psyched for Halloween, even if she was finding it a bit difficult to move. Her costume wasn't the most comfortable, but there was no doubt it was a show stopper. Shuffling her way into the Great Hall with Chip, Maggi looked around with a broad grin. There were plenty of impressive costumes, but as far as she was concerned, nobody even came close to looking as cool as the two of them. "Oh, totally!" She said brightly in agreement with Chip, though she hadn't quite considered how dancing was going to work in this thing yet. Still, Maggi never backed down from a challenge. She did her best to grab her cousin's hand and started shuffling towards the dancefloor and pulling him after her, her large, bulky costume bobbling as she walked.

Chip smiled and allowed Maggi to lead him to the dance floor, pausing when they were at the center. Chip hadn’t considered how difficult it would be to dance in their costumes, with Maggi’s costume being bulky and Chip’s costume involving noodles being stuck to his head somewhat precariously. As he stood on the dance floor he knew it wouldn’t be easy to perform and keep his costume and Maggi’s in pristine condition but he also knew it would be a challenge to face, a challenge that he knew would be one of many he would encounter when he was a star which made the ordeal of trying to dance that night entirely worth it. Bopping along to the music at first, Pascal began to step side to side, looking at Maggi and hoping she would follow him, and work their way up into one of their favorite routines.

Maggi glanced at Chip once they reached the middle of the dancefloor, letting him take the lead. She hadn't really thought as far ahead as what they would be doing once they got onto the dancefloor, but right now just about anything she would usually consider easy seemed like a far too difficult enterprise. She started bopping to the music with her cousin, a bit surprised at how much the costume moved on its own. She felt a little bit like she was trapped inside a bobblehead toy. Maggi wasn't going to be deterred though, not in a crowded room with their classmates, and her cousin all watching. Meeting Chip's eye for a moment, Maggi started the familiar first steps of a hip-hop routine they had presented at a contest recently. It wasn't particularly hard, and wouldn't require much actual mobility on her part, which was probably for the best in this costume.

Chip kept smiling and following the hip hop routine he and Maggi performed for a competition earlier that year. It was difficult as expected, and Chip felt the noodles stuck to his head begin to sway sightly with the gravity of his dancing, but when the routine was finished and he held his hands out as if to say “ta-da!” he was happy with himself. Slightly out of breath, Chip stood from where he was kneeling, bowing a few times to no applause before he turned to Maggi. “Let’s get a drink!” He said, heading to the refreshments table assuming Maggi would be toddling along behind him. Chip poured himself a glass of punch and drank it in one go, feeling parched after all that dancing, but happy at his and Maggi’s performance. It was surely a show stopper and a highlight of his Halloween that year. He hoped it meant all the future Halloweens he spent at Hogwarts would be just as spectacular.
