Centaurs Forest

Eden got off spikes back. "Wait where I'am is holy ground? I fill so honored to be here." Walking around the cave a little bit Eden took a seat on the ground and looked into the pond. "I wish i could do what my friend Zuka she's a seer I hope that I could do that one day." Eden was letting her inner self show and it was starting to scare her and thrill her all at the same time.
 
" You can do anything once you put your mind to it." Spike said as he raised himself up and walked down to the side of the pond and dipped down to get a little drink. He soon raised his head and turned back and walked over towards Eden.
 
Eden watched as Spike took a drink of water trying not to blush. For some reason it seemed to Eden she was getting a crush on him not a good idea not at all. "I guess your right. This term I will start taking the classes that let me study for it I can not wait."
 
Spike could see that she was kind of blushing once he looked at her with his soft yellow eyes. Maybe she liked him? Maybe she didn't? It was kind of odd though seeing he was ten years older then her. " That would be great, it is the best thing you can do. Following your dreams, I wish I did, I used to want to e the first Centaur Auror, but I know I could never make it."
 
Eden looked into his eyes. O no this is so bad hes older than you by a lot sweetheart and your with someone and than you add to the fact that he is a freaking centaur and you have yourself a big fat case of bad juju. "Why cant you be a Auror? That would be great. I could help you if you would like. I'm not sure what I could do but I would be willing."
 
" For one I don't know any magic, for two if I leave my tribe I will be shunned and if I ever return to this forest I will be killed. Plus three, I don't have a wand and I already have a more important job." Spike said with a smile, he was glad someone else wanted to see him succeed in his career, even though his career was lousy. " Thank you anyway, So what year and house are you in?" He asked.
 
"I could teach you the magic I know. I know that Im not really supossed to but I think its about time the laws where changed. And you could use my wand and I could use my little sister's she would not mind she loves to do things that could lead to her getting in trouble. And as for your tribe they have no right to not let you follow your dreams. I'am a thrid year and this your not going to believe but I'am a Slytherin but I dont fit that mold I go my own way." Eden wanted to help him as much as she could even if it was not much.
 
" Well I owe my life to my tribe, if it wasn't for them I would just be in the middle of the forest somewhere dead. They sent out a whole search party for me, when It happened." Spike said looking down at the ground, he remembered the day like it was yesterday, how the muggles made it to the forest and found them and Spike had tried to fight them off and they attacked him and left him for dead. " We do not posses the ability to use wands, one of the things I hate about my people." He shook his head in disbelief, how could someone this nice become a Slytherin, it was ridiculous. " Are you joking, or are you serious?" He said his eyes wide open.
 
"Iam always serious about everything that I say. I dont know about other Slytherins you have come across but I know that I have a heart and I use it from time to time. I know they say you can not have a wand but that is rubish I think that if you have a brain that works and lets you know between right and wrong you should be givein one and when I come of age I will fight to make it so." Eden wished there was more she could say she could not believe how he must have been treated for him not to believe that she was really this friendly.
 
" It still would never work, I tried using a wand once, trying a spell I heard a student use, it never did work." Spike said disappointed, he knew it was never going to happen and he had to except that it was just a fact of life, he was a magical creature and he was not a Wizard. " It is ok, I have come to accept it, it is never going to happen, so no one else should fight for it. Just leave it the way it is and truthfully every other Slytherin I have met have been complete snobs, it's nice to know there is at least one nice one."
 
Eden sat there she felt helpless she really wanted to help him and he was shooting all her ideas down. "Well maybe the spell did not work because you did not know what the spell did or the magic was to advanced. Magic is like a muscle when you first start you can not go and left the 450lbs weight thats how it works with magic you have to start off small and work your way up to the big stuff." Eden paused standing up gathering her hair into a ponytail. She looked at Spike with her green eyes and spoke again. "Maybe you have been meeting all the wrong Slytherins because a few that are no where close to snobs. Are you sure you dont wanna try one last time? I have my wand and I would let you use it while Im around to make sure you dont hurt yourself." Edens voice trailed off. As she waited for Spike to answer.
 
" No I am sure, I am perfectly fine, but thanks for the offer any way." Spike said bowing his head to her. She was a good girl, she just wanted to see everyone happy, which was a good thing, but he still couldn't believe she was a Slytherin, and what she said next shocked him even more. " Meeting Lexi Rodriguez was one of my downfalls." He said pointing to his scar on his right front leg.

The truth is he hasn't met her but she doesn't really like centaurs
 
Eden was about to aruge her case one more time until he pointed to the scar on his leg. "Lexi? You met her? She is one of the worse Slytherin ever I dont know how she is still even at Hogwarts. That girl makes me so mad sometimes I could choke her!" Eden started pacing the cave she was the angriest she had ever been in all her 13 yrs of life. Turning to Spike she whispered. "From this day on I promise you if any Slytherin gets out of hand with the Centaurs you especially you Spike. I have had it with my house thinking that just because we are Slytherins that means we can do whatever we want." Walking over to Spike Eden threw her arms around his neck and held him tight. "Im so sorry Spike for what we wizards have done to your kind."
 
" Only some of your kind have been mean to us Centaurs, but most are kind and loving, and want our species to live on through the ages. Some like most of the Slytherins, want us dead because we are half breeds." Spike said looking down over Eden's shoulder as he put his arm around her as well. A tear dropped onto the sandy floor behinfd her before he stood up dry eyed. " But we can not let that affect us, there is more things going on in the world to worry about, like the Death Eaters."
 
"Most Slytherins are half breeds as you say I can count on one hand how many pure bloods there really are at the school. Heck my mother is a muggle and I came out just fine." Stepping back Eden wiped her eyes dry softly so not to make them any more puffy. "What about the Death Eaters? I know there still out there. I know of some...." Eden trailed off with her sentence. She was about to give away her adopted father along with a Professor of hers that she could not do and risk making it out alive and she had her furture to think about as well.
 
" Well there are more pressing matters then a few Centaurs being mistreated, it is nothing to worry about, we can handle ourselves." He said standing back up tall and using one hand to catch a single one of her tears on his finger nail. He thought it was pretty cool seeing as every other time he had tried it it always ended up popping the film on it. He blew it out and as he done so, a few little butterflies appeared out of the tear and flew around. " That is a little bit of the magic in which Centaurs posses, we do not posses the magic to use wands. If you could even cal that Magic, its more of a illusion."
 
Eden watched as Spike caught a tear that had fallen before she could wipe it away watching as he blew on it and made it turn to butterflies she smiled. "I perfer magic like this to any other." Pulling out her wand she waved it and tiny bubble Centaurs started coming from the tip of her wand in bright colors each running around for a few moments before popping. "Dang it I can never make them stay long enough. And what about Death Eaters? Your not going to change the subject that fast on me."
 
" The Death Eaters are out in force again, there is nothing to worry about a few little Centaurs when all this is going on, You have your own people killing your own people." Spike said as he looked at her, with a smile on his face as the Tiny Centaurs ran around and then soon popped. " That there is very good."
 
"The Death Eaters will once again be beatin down within a few years time. That much I know for sure. These things? They could be so much better if they would not pop I can make bubbles last and last for hours and you can hold them but as soon as I try and give them shape they pop." Eden felt a warm feeling deep down within her when she saw Spike smile it had been a long time since she had made someone smile it made her feel good.
 
" Yeah, so what do yous actually have to do at Hogwarts, other then learn?" He asked as he reached underneath his body to scratch his belly. It was the first time in a long time that he had smiled and for that he was happy. It was great to be gaining another as humans call them, friend. " All we do out here is run around, eat, sleep, and find food."
 
"Well there are alot of things to do, but I dont have the time. Im taking every class there is to take and extra transfiguration lessons on top of it and I have a part time job. But there are clubs that you can join and sports. Your life sounds so much more simple I wish I could live that way but for me I dont know what happened I seemed to have ended up being busy this year the coming years until I take my OWLs." Eden took a seat by the pond and dipped her hands in so that she could take a drink from the cool water.
 
" The lifestyle of a Centaur is not so full filling, it is very complex, it may sound easy. It almost takes a whole day of searching to be able to find a single bush of berry's that are suitable to eat, otherwise we could starve." Spike said as he watched her get ready to take a drink out of the water. He had said it was there Holy ground, and he thought she would have known it would be disrespectful to the elders to drink out of the pond, but seeing as she would need a drink really bad and it was very far away from the stream they had jumped earlier he let her go ahead.
 
Just before she was about to take a drink Eden remembered that she was on Holy ground and placed the water back. Walking outside Eden picked a few blades of grass and placed them in her mouth to suck the water out of them. Walking back into the cave Eden took a seat once again. "Im sorry I almost forgot myself there for a moment."
 
" Wait here a second." Spike said as he galloped out of the cave he went straight for the stream he had jumped, looking around he found a glass bottle which he washed out a few times in the stream, before heading back with it filled with water. As he ran inside, he lifted up the Bottle of water. " Here you go this should help." He said extending the bottle towards her.
 
Watching as Spike left the area to get something. Coming back a few seconds later Eden saw him carrying a glass bottle with water in it. Taking it from him Eden took a sip. "Thank you so much your very kind of you." Eden blushed again and looked down at the ground hopping he would not see.
