Killian Borisyuk honestly could not wait until he went home for the holidays. It was near time for the exams, and he just wanted to see his girlfriend and their two kids. Kalia was recently born, and that made two kids total. Killian himself was not sure if he wanted any more than that. But if Courtney wanted more, he honestly would give them to her. He was wrapped around her little finger. Anything she asked for, he would do. Killian just had not worked up the nerve to propose to her yet. He had the ring. He had everything planned, but the moment that he was going to ask on their anniversary, she said that she was pregnant with their daughter, so he didn’t.

Now, their daughter was born and no longer a newborn necessarily, maybe he should consider it. If she did not get pregnant again that is. They had protection but nothing was ever 100%. Killian shook his head as he dismissed that thought. He walked in the professor’s common room to make himself some coffee that morning. He desperately needed it. The caffeine would help fuel him for the morning, and no one needed coffee more than he did when it came to dealing with teenagers.

There were only two sets of circumstances that lead Ignacio to head towards the professor's common room. The first was for each staff meeting, where he tended to keep to himself, trying to remain polite but undeniably caring more for his day to day work. It wasn't that he disliked socializing with his colleagues and in fact he felt the opposite, but there was something to be said about his dislike of meetings specifically, not wanting to cater to their formality but understanding the necessity in their hosting. The second circumstance was the reason he found himself in the common room that day, seeking out a cup of coffee in an effort to wake himself up, and linger in a sense of calm before the storm that would be his otherwise busy day as groundskeeper.

He wasn't the only groundskeeper at Hogwarts, and could decide between different tasks with the other groundskeepers sharing the role, but that didn't mean he wasn't human, and couldn't spend an entire day working without a cup of coffee to begin his morning. It helped too, to boost his mood when he spotted a friend to drink his coffee with, the friend that morning appearing in the form of Killian Borisyuk. Ignacio smiled, walking to where the coffee was brewed and picking up a mug for himself and later reaching for the pot of coffee. "Morning!" He greeted. "Feels like the end of term, doesn't it?" Ignacio added as more of an afterthought, a comment on his observations over the years of the way the moods of students and professors seemed to change when exams loomed around the corner. He was thankful to be removed from it, not a student worrying about grades nor a professor with the responsibility of the student's good grades on his shoulders.

Killian could have smiled when the coffee finally hit his lips but no one could see it from the floor, or from his cup. He gazed down when he heard someone greeting him, but he just held up a hand as if to say 'wait', as he practically chugged half of his coffee - might as well be a liter to anyone average sized. He was not about to talk until he had something like that in him. He lowered the cup and had one tired greeting, "If you say so." Killian was still dealing with the news of his siblings currently. All three of the triplets were now in New Zealand, and honestly, the islands were not big enough to have two, let alone three. He didn't count Kade or Kira since neither of them shared the giantess mother.

"The exams aren't what have me reeling right now. My younger brothers are living here now, and one just eloped and the other is involved with two women." Killian shook his head since he knew that many men often cheated. Women too. But no, these were in a poly thing. Killian could barely handle Courtney. He would lose his sanity if he had someone else on the side, and if Courtney asked for someone else on the side. "Kids are growing up a bit too fast. It won't be long until my son can carry his mother around."

Ignacio's usual reaction when someone mentioned their siblings was one of gratefulness by proxy, happiness knowing his friend had family nearby, from an ignorance at first in assuming everyone was as close with their families as he was with his own. However from understanding the few and far between aspects Killian had shared about his relationships with his family during the time they were friends, Ignacio gathered that all his siblings being in New Zealand wasn't a celebration at all. So instead of giving his usual congratulatory smile, Ignacio instead frowned slightly, entirely foregoing the small talk he had attempted to make over the cups of coffee over concern for Killian's situation. "Oh wow, one eloped and the other weaving a web? Sounds overwhelming." He said gently, shaking his head for a moment before he continued to pour himself a mug of coffee, adding a dash of milk and teaspoon of sugar he mixed in a moment later.

"I guess with your children, knowing your family is nearby doesn't make things easier." He added, picking up from his cup and sipping from it. He chuckled gently when Killian mentioned his children growing up too fast, at least that was something he could relate to with his own children. "They do, my girls will be here at Hogwarts next year." He added, almost not believing the words himself even if he knew they were true. It seemed like just yesterday they were toddlers, tottling around the backyard and small enough for him to carry on his shoulders, but now they were about to start their time at school and begin to properly grow up. It was bittersweet in a way, causing him to feel entirely proud of his daughters and the women they would become, but also sad knowing some of the happiest times of his life with his daughters being young would soon reach its finale. "Are you coping okay with everything?" Ignacio added shortly afterwards, thinking it would be best to check up on how Killian was doing among his children and sibling drama.
