Nell should have been happy with Jasper's explanation. It should have taken all the weight off her shoulders. But hearing he didn't want to kiss her any more than Lily stung. "Right." She nodded primly, shuffling her messy stack of photos again. "So you'll be just fine, then." She said, aiming for a more casual tone and missing. Part of Nell wanted to just reach for Jasper and kiss the stupid words out of his stupid mouth, but that wouldn't be any good for either of them.
