Winnie had signed up to deliver candy canes that year because she thought it would be a fun activity, and a way to brighten people's days with happiness thinking about all the people that loved them enough to wish them a happy holiday season. What she had not thought about was how difficult it would be for her as a first year, to both know who any of the older students were and also to be able to find her way around the castle in a reasonable amount of time. She started her deliveries by walking down to the great hall and as she approached the Hufflepuff table she looked around. "Geovanna Volt!" Winnie called out, projecting her voice in the same way she would when she was on a stage. She hoped that she was loud enough for the person she was looking for to hear her and step forward.
