Hello everyone and welcome to the signups for the Conglomerated Arts Showcase! What is the Conglomerated Arts Showcase? It’s an opportunity for your characters to show off their artistic skills in a performance setting!
How it works: there are 11 spots (Lucy takes the 12th) available for either solo or group performances.
Everyone who signs up will be randomly assigned a 24-hour period between ooc time 29th July and 9th August to post their performance or segment in character (Lucy's introduction post will go up around 11am NZST). Lucy Montague will be acting as the MC.
CAC members get priority, but PM me if your character's NOT in the CAC and you're interested and I'll get back to you.
If you want a glimpse at what the event has been like, here's the previous showcase run by the lovely Mia.
There will also be a separate thread for the audience to react.
If a lot of people signup, I will make decisions on who gets to perform based on the following factors: CAC membership, variety of acts, and variety of ooc people.
House points are avaliable for performers (7pts) if you need an incentive!
Because I'm posting this later than I intended, I'm having Lucy perform on the 28th in the first slot to give people more time to sign up.
To sign-up, simply state:
- Names of everyone in the act (if it's solo, just the name of the one character)
- The type of act it is (no need to be detailed, just whether it's a violin performance, muggle magic tricks, acting, ect.)
You can also sign up as someone behind-the-scenes (for example, stage setup or stage management) or helping front of the house with refreshments. Just mention that instead of the act type. If there are any questions about anything at all, please reach out. And most importantly, have fun!
