Evie was making tiny, tiny, tiny steps, but she was doing a very little bit better this year. She was walking normally through the halls and not rushing through things to return to the solitude and safety of her dorm room, she'd gone outside and even spoken to a few people. She knew it wasn't much, but she was trying. She hesitated in the hall, stopping to look at a poster advertising a party for the first years. That seemed interesting, and she couldn't help but wonder if she'd missed something similar in her first year when she'd kept herself shut in her dorm and hidden behind the curtains of her poster bed. She lingered, hugging her books to her chest and reading over it.

Emmanuel was keeping himself busy, there was lots of work to do with his club to get the word and message out there. It was hard, they were somewhat niche, but it didn't matter. He was coming up to the seventh floor, hoping to try and convince someone in the heta omega room to have a poster somewhere, when he noticed someone a little older than him looking at a poster. It was a party for first years, and he felt sure the girl was not a first year. "Hello," he said stepping towards her. "Are you looking to make some more friends?" he asked, figuring that this was perhaps why she was looking at the poster. he hoped the girl wouldn't be too insulted by his words.

Evie jumped a little when she heard someone speak. She stepped back, blushing, immediately clutching her books just a little tighter to her chest. She swallowed hard at the boys question and nodded shyly, looking at her feet. "Y-yes please," She managed softly, staring intently at her shoes. "W-why?" She stuttered, biting her lip and peeking up at him.

Emmanuel gave a slightly apologetic smile, having noted that he'd startled her. , ”I'm starting a club, an unofficial club. It's for people who love history,” he said. He took one of the posters which Aine had made and held it out to her. ”Right now there are four members, so it's a small club,” he added, in case that would help her make her decision as to if she could join, but he also didn't need a decision now, of course. ”I'm Emmanuel, by the way,”

Evie listened to him talk, chewing on her lip lightly. "Small is nice," She murmured, twisting on her hair. "I'm Evangeline," She introduced herself in turn. "What would you do in your club?" She asked him, studying him nervously. She just wasn't very good around people, honestly. Maybe if this club sounded interesting, at least she'd try to go to a meeting, be a bit more social.
