Jasper sighed and got up, trying as hard as possible to walk in a straight line. He staggered to the kitchen and grabbed a glass of orange juice. He could feel himself completely losing the girl he loved and he hated it.
 
Candy followed him, "Jasper what are you doing?" she asked, trying to pull him back to the room when she saw he was gonna get a drink she decided to help him, "Jasper, go lay back down." she said, wrapping her arms around his waist.
 
"No. I can do it myself." He could feel tears in his eyes as his heart was crushed in the palm of her hand. He leant against the kitchen side and started to drink his orange juice, completely ignoring the fact that Candy's arms were round him.
 
Candy took it the wrong way, "what you don't want me hugging you or what?" she asked, knowing tears were sliding down her face but she couldn't stop them.
 
Candy had a shock look on her face, "Jasper, I want you to hug me just when you hug me i feel like i'm losing myself when you say you don't want to date me" she said, feeling tears in her eyes.
 
Candy shook her head then followed him, "Jasper, I'm gonna leave since you don't want me here" she said, walking over to him and giving him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
 
Candy ran back in the room with a note in her hands, "Jasper, your uncle just died" she said, tears in her eyes for Junior and Cloe were at an appointment.
 
Candy stopped of reaching the door, "i shouldn't be here after what happened between me and your uncle" she said, feeling tears now and ready to cry her eyes.
 
Jasper wasn't listening to Candy. He walked through the door and was hit by the scene of his mum crying on the sofa ad everyone else completly silent. The silence was the thing that scared him the most. He could feel himself getting light headed again and had to put a hand on the wall.
 
Candy backed away not even wanting to be there, "Jasper, I'll see you later" she said, starting to turn around and walk away but Jasper had caught her.
 
Candy nodded her head, "fine i'm here for you" she said, turning in his arms and giving him a kiss on the lips.
 
Candy saw Jasper brother and blushed, "um hi Paul" she said, hiding her face behind Jasper.
 
Paul looked up when he heard someone speak. He had been shocked by the sight he had seen when he walked through the front door and the shock hadn't left him, causing him to be less aware of his surroundings. "Oh, hi." He tried to smile but failed. "We got back this morning and he was dead in the hallway. He was murdered. Nobody knows how though. There was nobody who saw anyone come here or hear anything. Dervish couldn't have done it himself though. He had no marks and no wand." He leant his head back on the pillow and sighed.
 
Candy walked into the room and hugged Paul, "i'm sorry" she said, looking at Jasper and giving him a brave smile.
 
"I'll be fine." He shrugged. "I'm going to Lindsay's later because she's just bought her own place." Paul loved Lindsay and always felt happier around her. He knew he'd be fine once he got there.
 
Candy watched Paul leave then looked at the bed as the memories came back, "omg so many mermories" she said, looking out the window not even turning around.
 
Candy came over and sat down beside him, "it's ok to cry Jasper" she said, hugging him and placing a kiss on his cheek.
