Boredom

[Professor Samantha Jacobs]

It was a sunny day out and Samantha was bored out of her mind. She was walking around the castle with nothing to do. She was slightly homesick at the moment and would plan to write to them soon. She sat under a tree with a book in hand, interested with whatever book was but also was thinking what to write to her family.

 

[Alec Maxwell]

Alec was strolling down the Great Lawn when she finished her Herbology class. She wanted to chill for awhile before her next class. Although, she was hungry, Alec went to the Great Hall to gather some food that she can take in the lawn again. Mostly fruits and bread, she head out again. Looking for a spot, she spotted a younger student under a tree reading a book. Alec wanted to head over where she was but it seems she's invading her privacy to be alone.

The third year Hufflepuff didn't realized she was already near her when she recognized the girl as her housemate. "Oh, hi!" Her way of letting the girl know she was there. To be honest, she wanted friends and not be stuck with her relatives inside the castle. Over the holidays she and her family were invited to a distant relative's birthday party and it didn't end well. Alec waved at the girl, her other arm carrying the food she got from the Great Hall.

Samantha looked up from her book when she heard a voice. "Oh, uhm hi," Samantha said shyly, with a small wave and smile. Samantha moved to her right and patted the small area beside her, signalling to the girl that she could sit next to her. She noticed it was an older girl and it seemed that she had food at her hand. She noticed that her stomach made a growling sound, signalling that she needed some food in her stomach.
