Demi had spent a good few hours on her costume for the Halloween Feast, although if she was honest most of that was making sure that her hair and makeup were perfect, given that she was about to hang out with William. She still had yet to tell him that she knew of his family, nor that she felt a certain way about them, but Demi wasn't going to pretend she didn't still want to be William's friend. She was glad at that moment that her sisters weren't around to witness her getting ready, because unlike them Demi didn't usually care about things like that, and they would most certainly be able to tell something was different with Demi if they bore witness to the change of behavior. Once she had finished applying the bright red lipstick and attaching the fake vampire teeth to her own, she was quite proud of her work of art and headed out the Ravenclaw Common room.
The first year had already asked the Gryffindor to meet her there. It made sense since they were in different houses, and without the pressure of waiting on one another. She made her way down the stairs, occasionally admiring the other students and their costumes although she didn't think they hit quite the same as hers had. Once she was at the Great Hall, she was in awe at the sight in front of her. The hall had been transformed for the event, the tables moved and games were set up around the room for the students to participate in. Demi looked around for William, not knowing whether or not he was going to be dressed up either, and for all she could have guessed, she wouldn't have recognised him. Perhaps she should have been more specific about their meeting point. Heading across to the table with the food and drinks, she helped herself to a suspiciously green beverage. "Sorry," she said to a nearby ghost, careful not to tread on the sheet draped over the student as she moved out the way, and waited for her friend.
