Open Big Surprise

Open after Emzies posts with Minnie.

Eric had applied for the job at Hogwarts almost on a whim. It wasn't like his life was going anywhere at the Medley, it definitely wasn't what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, but he also had never expected himself to go back to Hogwarts. Yet, here he was. It was strangely nostalgic and not entirely bad. He had already given a few students angry looks as he passed them, as he figured he should get himself a reputation sooner rather than later. Students needed to know they shouldn't mess with him, that would make his life easier. But right now, he had other things on his mind.

He hadn't told Minnie he had gotten the job, though he had told her he'd applied. Sending her a note through a student seemed like the easiest way to get her attention. It was an unsigned note telling her to get to the courtyard as fast as she could for an emergency, Eric sat on a bench and waited, keeping an eye on the entrance to the castle. He hoped he could surprise her.

Minnie had been surprised that Eric would want to come back to Hogwarts, even for work. But she could admit, having him around would be nice. They wouldn't be as apart and she wouldn't have to worry about missing him. She would have a friend in amongst all the rest. After all, Eric was her boyfriend, the love of her life, but he was also a friend. The only person that Minnie trusted. She got a note from a student and had rushed to the courtyard, already thinking that she needed to find a more adult adult to possibly deal with it, until she reached the courtyard, and there was Eric. "Eric!" she said excitedly, rushing over to him, intending to kiss him the moment she could.

Eric grinned when he spotted Minnie, seeing the moment she noticed him and realized it was him. He beamed back at her, spreading his arms slightly so she could run into them. He caught her, lifted her off the ground and gave her a big kiss. He knew some students would probably run with this, but it didn't matter. Let them all know. "Hey, surprise." He said once he broke the kiss.

Minnie happily ran into his arms, so pleased to see him again. She giggled softly, contently, filled with love for Eric as he spun her. She kissed him back, not caring which students actually saw them, just overjoyed to see him at school. To not be away from him for most of her days. When the kiss broke she just smiled at him. "Best surprise ever," she said fondly, her hands moving to cup his cheeks, and just smiling at him with deep affection for him. "I missed you," Minnie leaned back in and kissed him again.
