better than ice cream

He clung to her as if his need equaled her own, each touch of their lips made her feel almost human again. Their bodies all but fell back to the cold damp sand but still she continued to kiss him as if her very life depended on it. Would he push her away again? Would he keep denying her? Bella's tongue began to trace intricate patterns against Izaak's tongue, her hands hastily fumbling with his top. Wanting to touch him, needing to touch him. The rest of the world was melting away, falling deep into the background. She no longer cared about anything else but the man with her. She could not think about anything else or she would break and Isabella wasn't sure if she could ever be whole again once that happened. Feeling his hands touch her stomach she gasped, yes this was what she wanted she told herself. His mouth found her neck, she arched it back knowing exactly where his other hand was and wished he would just undo the damn button as he had undone her. It all seemed to be taking so long too long and finally his words were like a violent slap in the face. Anger rose within her and she knew she had to be careful.

Pushing herself from him she sat on the sand and watched him wearily.
"Taking advantage of me? Izaak I'm throwing myself at you!" she scrambled to her knees before floundering to her feet, "Just say it damn you. Just say you don't want me. Say it! It's her, it's always her. Any time it feels like we even come close you pull away, you stop.. " she could feel the prickle inside of her, the white heat beginning to surge through her body. Every emotion possible had been wrung out of her today, over the past few days and weeks and it was all coming to a head. Bella knew exactly where her anger would take her, could feel it building and if she didn't contain it soon it would burst from her in the shape of her awful wings. Grabbing the hem of her jumper she yanked it off over her head, the white from her lace bra gleaming against her honey skin in the moonlight.
She looked magnificent but so obviously that in his eyes.

"What's wrong with me?" she held both hands out from her body, "Why don't you want me?" any minute now she could feel the bubbling begin, the boiling of her blood that would surge through her. The bone would push it's way out soon and yet she was powerless it to stop it, powerless to control the flood of anger that gushed from her. Was she really so horrible to him, did she really mean nothing at all?

Izaak jerked his head back with a wary look of confusion written across his features as Isabella skittered away from him, scolding him and yelling as she went. He had only made the comment because he felt as if she was in a vulnerable position, just looking for a way out from all the pain that had crept up within her and possibly regretting it by morning. But apparently, this was not the case. ”It's her, it's always her.” Izaak frowned because now Isabella was making it about Alexis. The first time it had been her yes, but this time it had not. It had been his concern for her that had stopped him. But her menacing anger and what would be heated words pouring from his mouth were a dangerous mix. So Izaak was smart enough to let them lie, regardless of just how much he wanted to bite back.

Her sudden gesture stunned him and no matter how many times he tried to wrench them away, Izaak’s eyes refused to stray from the flawless perfection of her barer honeyed skin. Not even realising it until his throat began to itch with dryness and he began to feel uncomfortable in his jeans once more, Izaak’s mouth had been hanging wide open in awe. “I do want you Is,” Izaak began as he moved forward to hook his fingers at the backs of her knees. “A little too much.” Those were the last words Izaak was able to managed until he pulled Isabella down, her knees buckling easily with a tug of his fingers as he came to position her meaningfully on his lap.

Izaak hoped to send her anger up in flames as he hungrily leant in and crashed his lips against hers, smouldering every false accusation she had made with an elusive flicker of his tongue against hers. One hand raced greedily all over the smooth skin on her back whilst the other resumed its position at the button of her jeans. It was almost as if it were electrically charged because a pulse of excitement jolted through Izaak as his thumb came into contact with the metal. Perhaps it was the fact that this was the first time he’d soberly doing this with her or the fact that they could get caught at any minute that urged Izaak on. But finding it too difficult to rid Isabella of her jeans whilst she was in his lap, Izaak broke their fiery lip-lock and gently pushed her back onto the cold sand. Izaak cast her a seductive smile and scrambled to sit atop her knees before he leant back into to continue war the their tongues had been opposing one another’s in. His hand, in the meanwhile, had undone the button of her jeans and was now working slowly on the zip. They were going to do this, they were actually going to do this in the middle of the deserted Bondi Beach.

Taking off her sweater had not only been in defiance of his rejection of her, it had been a practical move. She had gone through enough items of clothing during her rage to know when it was wise to remove her top at least. She had brought only a handful of clothing with her and was not prepared to lose a well loved sweater now. She was also ready to run again, ready to take off before the wings tore through her. Before the cartilage ripped through and the scaly wings she so despised would spread apart for him to see but she didn't get far at all. Didn't even get a chance to take a step backwards. Izaak's words were punctuated with his sudden movement. Catching her by the back of the knees and bringing her down. It was unexpected and she attempted to pummel him again but his lips were crashing down on hers again and fight as she might, he dissolved her anger in moments. Bella was so unused to this, usually her anger bore her away completely no one had ever been able to control it or her before. He wanted her, his words washed over her again and again. Until she was dizzy from his kisses and began to return them finally with her own.

Izaak adjusted their positions, she groaned when he moved from her. As much as she had not wanted this, had thought it too soon part of her now knew she did. She wanted him but did she really want him like this. Whatever about him blowing hot and cold, she was behaving the exact same way. If they came together again, she wanted it to be wonderful, special exhilarating. Not done out of anger or needing to prove a point. Not knowing where she got the strength from she rolled him over so that she was now on top of him, her mouth still tasting him, her heart still clambering for refuge. She loved him but this was emotional suicide, wasn't it enough for her to know that he did want her too? Her body pressed close to his feeling every inch of him molded to her was heavenly. Bella knew he was as excited as she was and it tore her now to have to lay a hand across his mouth as she opened her eyes to look into his. She couldn't speak but swivelling her legs around so that she was sitting now she pulled him upwards to face her. Her legs curled up alongside of them as one hand wiped hair from his face and the other slowly traced its way across his mouth.

Gently she leaned closer and kissed him softly.
"I'm sorry. I'm just one big mess. I feel like I'm on some kind of rollercoaster and can't get off. I love you Izaak but I can't do this to you, to us. I want too but the thought of getting caught again, it's just too much" she looked at him pleading for him to understand as she lay her forehead against his.

Izaak’s lips spread into a sly smile against his friend’s as she drew on an impressive amount of strength to flip him over so that he was now beneath her. His mind was reeling with the lingering thought of how public a place this was and shot breath-snatching amounts of adrenaline through his already desiring body. Loving this position almost as much as he had the last, the feel of the two of them all but merged together, he leant up towards Isabella hungrily and knew now that he was too far gone to even consider stopping. It hadn’t even crossed his mind, not until she broke away.

A groan of protest escaped him as her hand fell across his mouth; he couldn’t very well just leave it like this now. It was like sampling the delicious entree without being able to dine for a full course. He wanted her so badly, right here and right now. He couldn’t care less about where he was or that fact the tide would soon reach them, he just did. Isabella and Isabella alone had caused his desire to sky rocket and she knew it too, she couldn’t be stopping them now could she? But as he came to sit Izaak knew it wasn’t going to happen, not here and not tonight. The gentle, tender movements of her hands on his face cooled Izaak’s excitement just enough so that it was bearable, her soft kiss did even more to help the cause. And as she spoke, Izaak knew that she was right. Jumping right into it might have been a mistake and he was slowing growing more grateful for her intervention.

“Tease,” Izaak pouted playfully but he kissed her nose tenderly anyway and pulled his forehead away from hers so that their gazes could lock, through them he conveyed his understanding. Knowing that he couldn’t very well stay there with her still so close and with his body still raging with pheromones, Izaak carefully lifted her out of the way and stood up dizzily. His fingers laced together behind his head and he let his eyes drift closed as he drew in the salty scent of the ocean and relished in the sea breeze as it brushed refreshingly against his hottened face. A secretive smile grew wide on his face as he reopened his eyes and turned his head back to Isabella. “You know, we’ll have to come back here one night,” Izaak grinned and threw her a suggestive wink before breathing several chuckles. “Cause that seemed like it was going to be fun.”

She chuckled as he kissed her nose, gazing into his eyes she was glad she had found the strength somewhere to stop them. They had gotten carried away much too quickly Bella blamed it on the sea, the sound of the surf, the night sky everything but the fact that they were attracted to one another. Still she denied herself the possibility that he could actually care for her as much as she did him, it was possible for him to care less for her of course but she would not fool herself into believing he loved her. She still sat atop him, still clad in only her jeans and bra, the cool night air caressing her skin when suddenly he was lifting her up and from him. As he moved away she could only guess it was to calm the tide of hormones that raged through him because she was still in the same boat.

His smile warmed her though there was something slightly cheeky about it, his comment afterwards explained why and instead of chuckling right away she could only stare bewildered. He really wanted to be with her? Was making suggestions about returning but Bella simply smiled then and began to retrace her steps to find her jumper. Would he want only that type of relationship with her, a physical one. She hoped he wanted more than that but it was only a month since Alexis and she knew she shouldn't rush him. Bending down to pick up the sand dusted garment she shook it out before turning back to face him pulling the jumper on then walking slowly once more until they were close again.

"It did seem like a good idea" her grey eyes smiled into his blue, "did you still want to hang out here or head back to the house?"

[sorry for lameness, mega tired]

The silence that floated over the pair of them seemed comfortable yet pensive, any need for words lost amongst the barrelling waves, as Isabella plucked her pullover from the sand. Izaak wondered what might have happened if she hadn’t stopped them. Well obviously he knew what would have happened but it was something a little deeper than physical pleasure that Izaak was concerned about. Would it have torn open wounds, perhaps cut the a little deeper? Would he have cried out his ex-girlfriend’s name amongst their heat and their passion and their power? Would he have gathered her into his arms and suddenly wished that it was Alexis within them instead? Izaak might not have been particularly enthused on his part but Isabella had done the right thing. His heart and mind would not cope with what sense his body left behind.

"It did seem like a good idea" Izaak nodded down at her with a grin arching charmingly across his lips and yet rubbed the pad of his thumb anxiously over his chin, the light shadow of stubble just beginning to become scratchy beneath his skin. “Can we just stay here for a little longer?” He asked her hopefully, not ready to begin weighing up the pros and cons of falling asleep with her as opposed to the sunken and lonely embrace of the couch. It took an instant more for his hand to stretch across what small distance there was between their bodies and only a few more after that until they were walking with their hands linked so comfortably together and their footsteps leaving barely a trace of their presence.

His azure eyes combed over the curl of Bondi as his mind rewound back to the various times he had introduced each of his girls, both friends and lovers, to the beach that so seemed to be written into him. There had been his first and most endearing love Kasey, then Leia one of his two best friends, then had come Casey the other of the aforementioned two. The most famous of all had been Alexis coming close to a year ago and now there was Isabella. And as Izaak recalled each memory with an unmistakeable twinkle in his eyes he came to a sudden realisation. Bondi had been the first place each and every time that he had told a girl he loved her. Isabella was the one exception of course, she already knew that he loved her, even though the way in which he did remained undefined. The thought caused Izaak to chuckle at himself and to open his mouth to bring her in on the secret, though perhaps it wasn’t the best of ideas. Instead her reached for her waist, and moulded their sides so fittingly together before dropping feathery kisses along her jaw as they walked, heart still racing, lips still smiling.

eh, yours had nothing on mine

“Can we just stay here for a little longer?”
His hand reached for hers and with a gentle smile she stretched her own out to meet his. Fingers touched until finally they locked together, glancing at them she imagined their bodies locked the same way and blushing turned her gaze away. Her thoughts were all a jumble as they walked hand in hand, the surf racing in to wipe any trace of their presence away. This was beautiful and serene, she had visualized something as ordinary as this for so long. Simply walking in a public place with him, holding hands and enjoying each others company. Sure it was the dead of night and there wasn't a single other person about, but she was sure now that he would gladly walk the same way with her in bright glorious sunshine on a crowded beach. It had often crossed her mind to ask him why he had purposefully wanted to bring her here, what hold did this place have on him? She had nowhere like it, nowhere she could simply go to relax and be herself. That she would want to bring a special someone too. For some reason this thought brought another. Had he brought Alexis here, had they walked this very same beach hand in hand? Had they made love on the sand? No doubt Alexis would not have stopped him. She sighed attempting to push the thought away when she cast a glance at him. He looked so happy, smiling away to himself about to speak or so she thought she waited but he said nothing. Instead he reached for her waist and pulled her too him, so they were now side by side walking along instead. His mouth found its way to her face, briefly she closed her eyes against the beautiful sensations he conjured inside of her. Her own arm wrapped around his waist now too.

"A sickle for them" she smiled, he was obviously thinking something really great to be smiling so. Bella thought at first perhaps he was still remembering just short moments ago being locked with her on the sand, but still she couldn't shake other images now of him with his ex-girlfriend here. If it was his special place to bring people, then really he shouldn't have brought her. Not here, not when she was trying to get herself over everything. The last place she wanted to be was anywhere that would remind him of his ex.

The smile that lingered on the tip of Isabella’s words as she spoke brought Izaak to smile right back at her. But she had caught him thinking to himself and happily too, of course now she had to be curious. Izaak didn’t think it would go down well, not if he made a mention of Alexis. Perhaps the others were fine, they had just been friends and Kasey had been his lover oh so long ago. The azure of his eyes scoped over the beach, he could almost picture her there with her mess of blonde hair and those sparkling green eyes. He remembered the moment she had dashed in to his arms, the moment she had changed him, the moment he had known what love like this was for the very first time in his life. Isabella and Alexis both owed their thanks to that sweet-hearted New Yorker with dreams taller than the city’s skyscrapers. She had been the one to open him up, the one to lift him and the one to let him fall, not that that had been her fault.

“I fell in love for the first time here,” Izaak smiled distantly before catching himself upon realising that Isabella would automatically assume he was referring to Alexis. His eyes sought the silver of hers, passing reassurances strongly through them and letting her know it was safe territory, that it hadn’t been Alexis. And Kasey was truly just a memory now, a good one at that, but only a memory and nothing more. "I guess you don’t really wanna know about that. It’s not surprising though, I spend most of my time down here, more than I do at home; surfing, eating, working, sleeping... But you know, sex on the beach would have been a first...” Izaak trailed off with a sheepish grin in Isabella’s direction as he held her tightly against his body, his mind filling with a vivid recollection of the passionate flurry that had just occurred between the two of them. It hadn’t seemed wrong, it just hadn’t seemed like the right time. He cocked his head curiously, wondering if the first time he’d soberly experience every inch of her would be right here. The idea seemed wildly romantic.

Bella continued to smile until his words sent a shiver through her, did boys really do that? Tell the girl they had just been making out with that their first love had been on the very same spot. She blinked in disbelief, willing him not to say Alexis' name then willing him not to say any girls name. Wanting to nudge him and tell him how damn inappropriate, Bella didn't. Instead she continued to listen and figured it made sense then, perhaps the place wasn't that special after all, just overly familiar to him. Well she was glad they hadn't done anything more than kiss each other here then. It would have been a first for him on the beach, she sulkily thought yeah to add it to all his other firsts that had obviously occured here. Again his arms found her bringing her closer to him and she allowed herself to be moved. Their bodies were so tight together, they were almost of the same mold. She sighed placing her arms behind his head.

She knew exactly where she had fallen in love and it was at the fountain on the fateful day they had met, her first love because quite frankly she had loved James but had never been in love with him. There was a huge difference as he himself had found out with Kiera. The thought of them made her smile and she remembered something.
"Speaking of love" she kissed him softly, "I've been invited to a wedding and well, I was wondering if you'd like to come with me?"
It would be perfect if he could, she hated going to those things on her own. She still didn't know why she had said yes to the invitation, not thinking it the done thing to have the ex-girlfriend there but they obviously viewed it differently.

Izaak noticed the smile falter on Isabella’s lips but not until well after what was said had been said. Izaak knew the rules, so why wasn’t he adhering to them? Perhaps he had gotten too familiar with all the many different things he could talk about with Alexis. i.e. everything except for her late sister and Isabella herself. They had known each other for so long after all that whatever they had been and whoever they may have seen did not render shock or awkwardness in the least within their conversations. Whenever he had been with her Izaak could well and truly open himself up without a second thought. But he didn’t have that luxury anymore and he certainly didn’t have her, not even the tiniest bit.

Drowning helplessly in his thoughts as they began to spiral out of his control, Izaak could not be more relieved when her lips came to settle gently his own. As they parted the tip of his tongue flicked across them, like he was savouring her taste, and a smile of genuine contentment rode happily across his expression. However it wavered slightly at her invitation, barely enough to be noticeable but enough for Izaak to linger on his thoughts. If attending a wedding together wasn’t a date then it was dauntingly similar to one. They, Izaak and Isabella, together, officially. Displaying the affectionate feelings he harboured for her was one thing but dating was another all together. To put it simply he wasn’t ready but that of course didn’t mean that he never would be or that he didn’t want to. He could see them becoming a couple but it wasn’t just yet. But, on the other hand, accompanying her to a wedding; it seemed innocent enough.

“A wedding? Like a date?” Izaak questioned softly, knowing that his uncertainty would evoke a defensive reaction within her but his azure eyes pleaded with all their dazzling might that she hear him out. “I wanna be with you Is, I do. But I need to take things slow, even though I might have a funny way of showing it. If I rush into it ‘we’ might not work out like we hoped we would. But if you can understand where I’m coming from, I’d be more than happy to go with you.” Izaak smiled a soft smile and leant into her to graze his lips gently against her mouth. A short moment later and he had pulled away, now gliding his thumb across the velvet softness of her cheek. “You can, can’t you?” Suddenly he remembered that a few months ago he and Alexis had been invited to a wedding together and in a movement unseen to his physical exterior, Izaak’s mind suddenly broke out in panic. He couldn’t very well go if Alexis was going to be there. But then he hissed to himself that he was being ridiculous, Alexis hated Isabella and wouldn’t be caught dead in the same room as her. Of course this wouldn’t be the same wedding, that would just be absurd.

He returned her kiss softly, his tongue tracing her lips as if tasting her. She quietly hummed to herself relishing the taste of him as well. Quite frankly she could kiss him forever and never want or be tempted by any one else. His lips were perfect, his kisses were dizzying, encompassing her entire soul, heart and body in utter rapture every time his mouth found hers. As they broke away again he seemed thoughtful, she could only guess of course and until he did speak she was breathless. If they continued to hold each other so close and continued kissing then all her previous well thought out reasons would get washed away with the tide. She would succumb in a heart beat.

His eyes seemed to plead with her and her reassuring answer was to nip his lower lip between her teeth.
"I never said it was a date ninny. I just need an escort and I'd rather it be you than Boris from the Leaky" she chuckled, her fingers curling into his hair. Her eyes firmly fixed on those perfect lips. The contours of her body were shamelessly pressed against his. She adored the hope he gave her, that he did want an 'us', that he did want it to work out and was willing to put in the effort. She knew she also had a funny way of showing that they should be taking things slowly but when she was so close to him, reason failed her. Her lips could not help but find his again, parting to let him in. Her arms wrapped themselves a little tighter, as her mouth grew hungrier. A despondent moan escaped her, she had been the one to put the breaks on earlier and yet here was her body beginning to slowly move against his again. As if unable to stop itself from craving him. She didn't think she would be strong enough to break away from him twice, to deny herself the pleasure of him again as her tongue delved into the sweetness that was Izaak Finch.

Within him his stomach lurched at the sensation of her teeth catching on his lower lip, pleasing him to extremities she’d never know. And with that one little nip came a tidal wave of desire. But Isabella had denied him before; he couldn’t just lunge back into their frenzied passion like he so desperately wanted to. If anything happened now, she’d be the instigator, not him. To an extent her words soothed him but he was now so hung up with desire that he barely noticed the anxieties that had risen within him before. “Well in that case, I’d be honoured.” Izaak grinned, most of all though for the fact that her fingers were plucking at sensitive nerves that resulted in shudders all the way down his backbone. His eyes shot to her warningly, wanting her to know that she was on the fast track to tipping him overboard but found that the glinting silver was instead fixated on his lips. Was he possibly imagining all of this?

But moments later her mouth had caught on his own and Izaak gleefully jumped at the opening she had given him to slid his tongue intensely along hers, knowing now that he was not imagining things and that this was not just any ordinary kiss. Instead it was one that seemed to be going somewhere. The nineteen year old relished in the warmth of every curve of Isabella’s that were pressed so tastefully to his body as his hands began to slide dangerously low down her back from the respectable position they had held beneath her shoulders blades. It seemed to be impossible to bring her any closer to him but somehow Izaak was managing. Though as her body began to work against his own, Izaak become blisteringly aware that this was definitely not just a casual make-out session. His lips broke heavily from hers but did not stray too far as they slipped along her jaw, and placed suckling kisses down the column of her neck, nipping the skin occasionally as she had his lips before. “What do you think you’re doing baby?” Izaak breathed into her ear in a tone that wished for nothing but her sweet continuation.

Perhaps she had been hoping for him to put the breaks on them this time, perhaps she thought that he would not respond to her kisses but he did and she groaned in delight. Her body now possessed the power to take them both far into orbit or to leave them stranded gasping hungrily for each other. A slender leg snug in denim moved slowly around his leg, skimming upwards as if she were trying to find other means of bringing them closer still. As if anchoring herself too him because the desire that flooded her now was consuming and relentless. There would be no going back, no denial unless he wished it. Her hands moved from his hair to rest on the hem of his top tugging it upwards, wanting badly to divest him of his clothing letting him know just how serious she was being. The struggle to remove his top near left her frustrated so she stopped moved back to give them both enough space, though immediately her body screamed out for his. Her own jumper was pulled off sharply and tossed recklessly on the sand as she took another step backwards, her hands undid the zipper of her jeans sliding them down beautiful slender legs. Giggling madly as she hopped about trying to get them off until at last clad in her lace she stood before him. Taking another step back Bella bit her lower lip, desire evident in her shimmering eyes as the light of the moon seemed to dance off her skin.

Slowly she sank downwards on to the sand, the feel of the gritty grains slightly uncomfortable as she sat with long limbs stretched out before her. Surely there could be no doubt for him what she wanted now.

Izaak drowned his longing moans into Isabella’s mouth as her leg wound gracefully around the back of his own, locking the pair in closer than they had been before. Though in a break from the serious passion of it all, Izaak could not help but snigger against her lips as she fumbled again and again with his t-shirt. But he cleaned up what business she had left unfinished and tossed it forgotten onto the sand once she had broken from him. For the third time that night she began to strip off her clothes before him; first her sweater and then a clumsy struggle with her jeans. Though all the hopping and completely unsexy (yet oh so sexy at the same time) ridding of the denim was redeemed instantly in Izaak’s eyes as his gaze scoped up and down the length of her toned yet slender legs, drinking in the honey tones of her skin with a lustful fire blazing heatedly in his irises.

No more could it be denied what was headed their way as Isabella slipped down onto the sand before him. Neither of them would be able to stop their desire now, not even if they tried. Izaak’s jaw hung unhinged in awe as he ogled over her delicious body, clad in nothing else but the white lace of her underwear. Izaak wanted her so much that it hurt though knowing that in a moment and the shedding of the rest of their clothes later, he would seemed to soothe the lusty nineteen year old. He did not speak a word, he only smiled as he unbuttoned, unzipped and rid himself of his jeans. Now in only a pair of plaid. cotton boxer shorts, Izaak lowered himself down onto her lap warily watching for any sign of regret. But there was none, so he pushed his mouth hungrily to hers and began to work his nimble fingers on the clasp of her bra.
...

Izaak’s breaths were still shallow and uneven in both depth and speed as the azure of his eyes sought out the happy glint of silver that were hers. There were beads of sweat dotting his brow and he was coated in sand. But Izaak Finch finally felt happier now then he had all month. So much for taking things slow, he thought to himself and grinned over at Isabella’s blonde mess of hair. “Better sober?” Came his cheeky question knowing that his own answer would be a definite yes and hoping hers would be the same too. Because that had been mind blowing.

All modesty had been left aside, as he came to her. Their mouths found each others again and heavenly oblivion ensued. She could remember with exact detail the touches and caresses of their previous venture but this was so much more, so much better because not only was he sober but he was willing, he was in it completely. Wanting her as much as she wanted him. Her heart felt at ease as if all the pain it had been experiencing had needed just this one release, this one admonission. She could hear a distant seagull and the tide continued to ebb about them. The gentle crash of the white foam upon the sand now reaching their feet. She giggled through it but the sound had been lost as his mouth had claimed hers again and again as if they could no longer breathe without the other.

Bella was beside herself with ecstasy, no joy could come close to the powerful emotions and sensations he was exciting in her.
As their bodies came to rest, her arms stayed about him. The gritty sand rubbed against them but it no longer bothered her. His words caused her to turn her face to look at him chuckling softly.
"Much better, so much better" she planted a soft kiss to his shoulder before allowing herself to rest once more against him. The sky was already getting slightly lighter and she could only begin to imagine what time it must be now, she didn't want to move, didn't want to think of having to leave his side for even a moment but she knew they would have too.

"There's a perfectly good shower and bed back at the house, maybe after here we could head back and clean up?" she grinned realizing now just how uncomfortable the grainy sand was.

Izaak’s gaze never strayed from her perfection, wound up so tight and so close against him that he began wonder if she had been made to embrace him and love him the way she just had. And for a fleeting moment he forgot that that had been the way Alexis had used to make him think. And yet even as they had proved to anyone that would listen that love could conquer anything, a part of Izaak was still holding back. He didn’t want to hurt himself or Isabella again, and he most definitely did not want to hurt Alexis. But it was inevitable, one of them at least one would shatter and Izaak had the strangest feeling that it might in fact be all three.

But that was not something he wanted to dwell on now, he wanted to lose himself in the way she had just made him feel, over and over again until they collapsed in each others arms and slept pleasantly through the afternoon together. "Much better, so much better" Izaak grinned like a child set loose in a candy store, both at her words and the kiss she had pressed to the bare skin on his shoulder. He would have been happy to take her here again, of course while thinking this he had disregarded the fact that the local fisherman would be rising soon to make their catch. But what she had implied was just so much more better. His mouth opened softly over Isabella’s for the x-hundredth time and sweetly, almost innocently, tasted her before burying his face playfully in her neck. “Mmm, sounds like a plan beautiful.” So caught up in the moment, Izaak was unaware of the fact that he had just called her something he used to call Alexis.

Izaak set a few peckish kisses on the inviting warmth of her neck before rising from their shoreline embrace to tug on the clothes they had so hungrily discarded. “But we have to be stealthy, kay?” Once he was clothed, yet still uncomfortable from the grains of sand that were grazing his skin, Izaak extended a gallant hand down to her with a smile so charming yet so ecstatic. “I don’t want my sister finding out.”
