Best shoppin' around

Alfie was feeling a little sick to his stomack. "Do you want me to walk you home, it's getting late?" He looked at her and smiled.
 
She smiled at him and said. "That would be really nice." That guilty feeling was getting worse. Why did having feelings for Hadan make her feel bad?
 
Alfie smiled and put his hand on the small of her back in a freindly way. "Alright lets go then." He looked at her and did he see 'A hint of guilt. No it was impossible.'
 
She shivered as he placed his hand on the small of her back. It was one of her many weak points. She walked forward. "Anywho..." She paused. "You sure you are okay with this?"
 
"It's your life sweety, you can do anything you want." Alfie smiled, "Atticus wants to set me up on a blind date anyway with on of his friends." It was true but, he still had feelings for Izumi, and probably always would.
 
She paused. Was he really only interested in her best? He seemed to be. She smiled. No one had ever told her it was her life; no one let her do what she wanted to do with it. She couldn't stop herself. She wrapped her arms around his nexk; she was about a head shorter then him. "Thank you." She whispered. They had to go though; she needed to get back to her empty apartment.
 
"See you soon." She said with a smile. She couldn't admit that she'd be leaving for france soon; she didn't want him to know.
 
He let her go, "Yeah see you soon." He smiled and left her, Atticus would be wondering where he was anyway.
