Vincent winced as the captain got hit, but she was a good sport. He continued on.
 
Nina still didn't see the snitch.
 
Xenia stretched carefully, not wanting to knock herself off her broom by throwing off her balance.
 
And Nina continued to not see the snitch.
 
Feeling good with three hits, Malik set off after another bludger, hoping to rack up more hits before practice was over.
 
Vincent continued his search.
 
Malik failed to find another bludger.
 
Nina spotted a glimmer of gold out of the corner of her eye, and turned abruptly to speed towards the source. She quickly managed to grab the snitch before it disappeared out of view, holding it up. "Voilà!" she called, with a huge grin, holding onto the snitch for a moment before letting it go. She hung in the air where she was to let it disappear before starting to look again.
 
Seeing the seekers do well gave Xenia a lot more confidence for the Hogwarts game, and she gave a thumbs-up to the younger girl.
 
Bellamy scratched the back of his neck and looked out to the clouds floating by when he remembered what he was supposed to be doing and tried to find where the quaffle was.
 
The snitch was already well out of view, so Nina started her search again.
 
Xenia was probably going to have to do something to motivate the chasers.
 
Nina marvelled at how quickly the snitch could disappear.
 
Xenia pointedly ignored her brain's reminders that she had a Charms essay to write.
 
Nina didn't see the snitch, and headed up a little higher.
 
Xenia adjusted her ponytail.
 
Mailk was quick to zero in on another bludger, this time deciding to send it to @Ava Hastings to see if she could do anything with it.
 
Nina didn't see the snitch up high, so she headed back down low.
 
Xenia kept watch.
 
Vincent was glad when the other seeker caught the snitch too. Maybe their luck would pan out this year.
 
Ava noticed the bludger Malik had send her way too late and grimaced when it slammed into her, although she was glad he was doing good.
