It was a sunny day that thankfully wasn't as hot as it had been. Perfect for training. Xenia was excited that they'd managed to win their way to the game against Hogwarts in New Zealand. Ilvermorny had been extremely tough competition and Xenia wasn't going to underestimate them next year, but that was far off. She also knew both Eren and Ophelia were graduating soon and this would be her last chance to play alongside them, so she was going to make the most of it. "Okay, you know what to do," she said to the team once they were assembled. "If you need help, tell me." She released the balls into the air and tossed the quaffle over to the chasers. "Let's go." Her French was starting to be less awful, but it was still her third pick of language behind Greek and English.

Out of Character:

No arrivals, just get into it! Practice will be open until the international game late next week. Get those stats up!

 

[Bellamy Parish]

Bellamy was happy the team had won even if he'd still be on the bench for the next game. At least they'd be going to New Zealand. He listened a Xenia and was glad her instructions were brief. They did know what to do and he took his position in front of one set of hoops and waited to see what the chasers would do.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik was pleased they were getting another chance to play, nodding his head as he grabbed his bat and set off into the air.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina was really looking forward to playing Quidditch again, even if she'd probably be on the bench. Well, she hadn't been on the bench for the whole last game. She took to the skies and started looking for the snitch right away.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia watched the others get started, and headed up to the hoops, keeping an eye on everyone as they got warmed up and into practice mode.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent hopped on his broom once arriving and soared upward. He just hoped that when the game over in New Zealand came, he would not be knocked out so quickly.

 

[Eren Beste]

Eren had been having an annoying week and was more than ready to blow off some steam in the air. He grabbed the quaffle, not giving the other chasers any room to take it as he headed for Xenia's hoops. If they wanted possession they could try to take it from him.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina got comfortable on her broom as she started looking for the snitch in earnest.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Eren looked determined, so Xenia was going to prepare herself for a rough training.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent continued on his search.

 

[Eren Beste]

Eren might have come in a little too hot, or maybe Xenia was too used to him by now, and she was able to block his shot. He'd have to throw it harder next time.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina zoomed around a little lower to the ground, just in case.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia managed to get her hands on the quaffle, though it was still early in the practice. She tossed it back out into play.

 

[Eren Beste]

Eren caught the quaffle, swerving tightly to head down the other end of the pitch.

 

[Vincent Poe]

Vincent started to search for the snitch on the north side.

 

[Bellamy Parish]

Bellamy looked more alert as he saw Eren coming his way and braced himself for whatever the older boy was going to throw at him. A quaffle probably.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik was quick to spot a bludger, giving a proud grin as he smacked it right at @Vincent Poe

[Eren Beste]

Eren scowled as his shot was blocked again. This definitely wasn't helping him blow off steam like he'd wanted.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava hopped onto her broom and looked for a bludger to hit.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina didn't see the snitch yet, but she was having fun having the wind run through her hair.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Sometimes, Xenia wondered if maybe she should play around with everyone's positions, give everyone something else to do, as a treat.

 

[Ava Hastings]

Ava missed.

 

[Niniane Archambeau]

Nina saw no sign of the snitch yet.

 

[Xenia Nikolaidou]

Xenia was now thinking about this plan and how she could give the benched players more of an opportunity to play, cracking her knuckles as she did.

 

[Malik St. James]

Malik flew for a moment, but was quick to find another bludger, this time sending it at @Niniane Archambeau. Maybe he felt a little bad for hitting the younger girl, but that was all a part of the game.
