Ava chased after a bludger.
 
Gemma continued to stay near Hugo and keep an eye out for bludgers.
 
Eren was quietly pleased when Florence missed her shot, grabbing the quaffle and doing a loop around the hoops before switching back towards Xenia, hoping to build up some momentum.
 
Gemma sighed to herself as Ava managed to make a hit while bludgers seemed to be keeping their distance from her.
 
Eren didn't bother hiding his ire as Xenia blocked him again, cursing as she grabbed the quaffle. "Next one," he told her with another warning point. He needed to get back on his game.
 
Gemma finally saw a bludger but swore under her breath when it missed it's mark.
 
Eren hung back for a moment as Xenia threw the quaffle back in, steadying himself on his broom.
 
Ava looked for another bludger.
 
Xenia's timezone suddenly aligned and despite that disadvantage was still able to block the couple of shots that came her way, pleased that playing football with her family was able to keep her sharp over the break.
 
Gemma saw yet another bludger and raced to meet it. She swung her bat and was glad to see she had made good contact with it but it had gone off course a bit and hit their captain instead. @Florence Bellerose
 
Not wanting to give up the chance to take another shot at Xenia, Eren grabbed the quaffle before the other chasers got a chance.
 
Xenia's gaze stayed on the quaffle, preparing herself as Eren went for it again.
 
Gemma felt good after her last hit and she hoped she was on a roll now as she hit a bludger again and grinned as it made contact with Amelie. @Amelie Derouin

The beaters were really going in on Amelie and Eren idly wondered how satisfying that had to be. Probably more satisfying than repeatedly missing a goal, he thought as the quaffle flew wide this time, gritting his teeth.
 
Before she knew it, Amelie had been hit twice. She groaned, but did her best to carry on, humming softly to herself and looking for the snitch.
 
Xenia was a little worried about Amelie and hoped she was doing alright, but didn't have time to think about that as she dove after the quaffle. It had gone a bit wide and slipped past but didn't make the hoop. She got her concentration back and tossed it back out to the chasers.
 
(Forgot I didn't have the quaffle yet oops)

Eren wasted no time, grabbing the quaffle as Xenia threw it back out and immediately trying to make another goal. It was a cheeky move, one he probably wouldn't get to make in a game most likely, and ultimately one that didn't pay off. He was in a bad position and didn't even get close to getting around Xenia before she blocked him again.
 
Gemma continued her streak as she saw another bludger and swung her bat. This time she decided to give the seekers a break and aim for her fellow beaters for a change. The bludger soared across the pitch and met its mark as it slammed into Elise. @Élise Moreau

Eren hung back properly this time, shaking out his arms as he waited for the quaffle to come back into play.
 
Xenia almost did a double take as Eren threw the quaffle back almost instantly. Probably wasn't strictly legal but she couldn't help but be impressed as she struggled to hold onto it. "Hah, nice one," she encouraged in return, throwing the quaffle back out into play.
 
Gemma took a deep breath and stretched out her arm. She was going to tire herself out too quickly if she wasn't careful.
 
Eren hesitated grabbing the quaffle, wondering if he could get a better angle if he waited for another chaser to grab it and pass.
 
Xenia rolled her shoulders, keeping up her focus and trying not to think about the essay she hadn't done.
 
Ava hit a bludger but it didn’t hit anyone.
