Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice Y40 S1

Aramis watched with vague amusement as Hugo shot past Amelie. For a moment he thought he was flipping the other seeker off, laughing quietly when he realized that wasn't quite the case.

Amelie had never considered if she was a good sport, but Hugo's gloating confirmed it. She smiled at his antics, sticking her tongue out at him playfully and continuing on.

Aramis wondered idly how many more days in practice he would get like this before he'd played his last game before discarding the thought, deciding it was too melancholy to think about while he was meant to be paying attention.

Gemma caught sight of a bludger and swung her bat but some how the angle was off and it flew off uselessly.

Aramis kept an eye on Gemma as she knocked a bludger around, glad she was far enough way for now he didn't need to worry.

Gemma kept looking for bludgers.

Gemma caught a bludger out of the corner of her eye and swung her bat. She made contact and aimed it towards the hoops since she had hit nearly every other member of the team so far. @Aramis Faroe

Gaby hung back to observe how the team was doing before getting her hands on the quaffle and going for a lap around the pitch.

ooc: practice will close somewhere tomorrow!

Ava hit her bat at a bludger but it didn’t fly in the direction she wanted it to.

Aramis was busy watching Gaby take the quaffle, not seeing the bludger Gemma sent his way till it was too late to move. He wheezed with the impact, taking a moment to hang on his broom pitiably while Gaby was still far enough away.

Gaby circled back to the hoops and made her shot, impressed that Aramis managed to block it even though he had just been hit.

Aramis wondered if the bludger had been the wake up he needed to finally outpace Gaby enough to block one of her shots, trying to ignore the twinge from the hit still as he threw the quaffle back out.

Gemma felt a little bad for hitting Aramis but he seemed to be doing ok and even blocked Gabby's shot. She kept an eye out for another bludger but none seemed to be around.

Aramis rubbed at his shoulder, glad that practice was nearly over so he could relax.

Gemma raised her bat and hit a bludger as it whipped around her. It made contact but just barely and went sideways into one of the chasers instead of Hugo like she had wanted. @Florence Bellerose

With the bludgers actively being hit around for the entire duration of practice Gaby eventually noticed her players were starting to get tired. Which wasn't a surprise when she realized they had been going at it for a while. "Alright guys!" She called out before blowing her whistle, signalling the end of training. "You all did great today, go get some rest." Gaby smiled before touching down on the ground and starting the task of making sure everything would get put away correctly.
