Eric was use to hanging in both the muggle and wizarding world since he grew up with equal parts of both, so it was no surprise when he walked into the muggle bar and walked upto the bar and made himself at home. Eric loved the freedom to go and be where evere he wanted without the fear of judging eyes and rude statement about his ability to use magic or hang with the muggles. However Eric was not able to hide his sexuality from the world and there was plenty of hater on both sides of his own little world. Yet some how Eric managed to soldier on and with the help of friends and family Eric manged to become successful and well like by all, but at the end of the day he was still utterly alone.

Eric looked around the bar and did not see anyone working the counter and so he simply waited for someone to show up. Tonight Eric would solve his problem at the bottom of his glass.

Well Cam is a bartender, so what the hell xD

Cameron gasped as he looked up at the clock in his apartment. He was shall we say, very late. He grabbed his uniform and rushed out the door. He couldn't believe that Austiin or Abby, hadn't bothered to tell him what the time was. It was as if they didn't actually want him to go to work. He shook his head as he rushed towards the bar, where he worked. He had only ever been late one time before, and he had a really good excuse to.. Like the fact that his house had burned down. But still he had gone to work still. If indeed a tad late. This time however he did not have what one could use as an excuse, and he was sure, his boss, would kill him for sure.

Cameron jumped out of the car and rushed to the bar, pulling on his unifrom as he went. Because he was not used to running and dressing, he fell over, more then once. It was only after he actually got through the door that he decided he could calm down slightly. He walked upto the bar and started pouring drinks. That was when he saw a rather goodlooking guy standing to the side. Cameron shrugged and walked quickly over and asked what he wanted to drink before making it. "I'm Cameron by the way, just so you don't have to keep calling out 'Bartender!' when you want another" He said snickering slightly as he started talking to another guy. He turned back to the goodlooking man and smiled. "I know we just met, but you rekon I could get your name?" He asked. Being an Australian he wasn't used to being in New Zealand just yet, but hopefully soon he would get used to it.

Eric watched as the blonde walked in and went straight to work, that is to say before he put eric in his place about yelling bartender all night. Eric was told that the man had a name and that was Cameron, who had an accent that Eric did not recognize off the bat. The young man smiled nicely as he went to help another guy sitting at the bar before coming back to get Erics name and order.

"Well bartender Cameron, My name is Eric Evans and I will be having a vodka hold the ice!" Eric said with an equally big smile as he took a seat and removed his jacket. Eric checked his phone and after making sure there was no missed calls from Corvin or Irene he settled in for the night as he reached for his wallet to set up a tab under his name.

Cameron nodded as the man ordered a vodka with no ice. He quickly made the man his drink and watched as Eric settled in. It seemed that the man was in for a long hall. Cameron didn't mind. It was about eleven o'clock now anyway. He would be working until about five in the morning. Which was why he was angry about not getting much sleep that day. When he didn't get sleep it was likely that he would probably fall asleep on the job. He so hated falling asleep on the job. It looked bad on his resume. He walked over and served another two people before returning to the other end of the bar where Eric was. Just his luck it would be that this guy was straight. They usually always were. He smiled politely at him and tilted his head as he prepared to make more drinks for Eric.

"Girl troubles?" He asked as he proceeded to clean the glasses. ten percent of his job consisted of cleaning. Fourty percent of it was making drinks. And funnily enough. Fifty percent was socialising with the customers. Which was the best part of Cameron's work day really. Often the bar was packed. But on some nights. Like tonight, there weren't as many paitrens. This were the nights that Cameron enjoyed the most.

Eric was sipping his drink when the bartender served a few people before making his way back down to where he was and it seemed that the guy was fishing for something cause he always made his way back to Eric. Well there goes my pity party! Eric thought as he took one more sip of his drink and about spat it everywhere when the guy asked him about a girlfriend. Eric decided that he would break the new to the guy now and get it over with it before they became best of buds only to realize the secret about Eric.

"Girl problems, only if my mom is mad at me or I ignore Irene for far to long, No Suga I hate to break it you but I am gay, But I am filthy rich and so if you dont make a scene I will leave you a jaw dropping tip!" Eric said as he went back to his drink, wondering if there was a jukebox somewhere in the bar or maybe it was karoke night.

Cameron hid a smiled as Eric told him he was gay. While it did shock him that Eric was gay. It was because he didn't strike him as the gay type. Cameron had nothing against Gay people, infact, he really supported them. He was himself bisexual. Atleast that is what he calls himself for now. He wasn't sure whether or not he prefered guys or girls. He liked both really. He didn't want to have to just choose one. But Eric was something extra. There was something about him that made Cameron glad he would date a guy. He smirked slightly and shrugged. "That doesn't bother me man, I'm what you could call a bisexual, I don't really have a preferance" He said laughing slightly.

"So, do you want another drink? Or am I annoying you?" He asked as he continued to clean the glasses.

Eric laughed at the bartender as he explained his bi curious nature to him, as though Eric did not know what a bisexual was.yet he had to hand it to the guy he did have a charm about him that made Eric smile. Eric finished his drink but instead of ordering another one he decided that a beer would be a better pick if he was going to actually try and talk to someone. Eric smiled as he spot a jukebox and jumped off his stool and went over and picked out a modern song that had a upbeat feel to itand then he returned to the bar to continue his conversation with the gentleman.

"Well my bi curious bartender Cameron, if you could set me up with a beer in a bottle. please, I will attempt to stay sober enough so that we can chat a little bit. No promises though I have had a hell of a week and a getting a little tipsy just sounds like a good idea." Eric said with a wink and a smile as he waited for the guy to go and get him a could one.

"Well my bi curious bartender Cameron"~ Love the line... made me laugh, Pure Genius xD

Cameron laughed slightly at Eric's choice of words before tottering* off to get the man his drink. Cameron was getting into the beat of the song as he walked back to Eric. He certainly had good taste in music, which was good. Cameron's last boyfriend really was a bad music expert. Atleast Abby had been a nice choice when it came to music. Though her taste in food was... tragic to say the least. Cam placed Eric's drink in front of him and sighed in relief as his helper Aiden finally showed up. As this bar was sometimes busy. The company had emplyed two people. It would give Cameron more of a chance to talk to Eric.

"Getting tipsy isn't always a bad thing. As long as you can remember where you parked your car in the morning" he said laughing. There had been only one time where he had lost his car and had ended up stealing someone elses. Of course when he woke up in the morning and realised, he had been sure to return it. It had still been, weird though. Waking up to find that he had been a theif over night. It was lucky the owner was so understanding. "Just dont drink too much. Hangovers are a killer" He said. Having no dount that Eric would already know this.

OOCOut of Character:
*Tottering is so cute :D

"It isn't remembering where my car as it is more trying to remembering the name of the guy next to me in the morning and how he got there." Eric said as he chuckled into his drink, as he thought of all of those rough morning and nameless lovers. "Don't get me wrong I am not a slut or anything it is just me and booze don't mix very well." Eric added quickly realizing how bad his first statement sounded. Eric smiled as the guy talked about hangovers, Eric was no stranger to hangovers but that was something he did not want to admitt . Eric surveyed the bar and realized that it was picking up a bit and still the man was sticking close by to keep him company which was quite nice.

"So how long have you been working as a bartender?" Eric said as he wanted to learn more about the guy.

Cameron smiled slightly at Eric's first statement. He was no stranger to nameless lovers... Though to be fair he'd only really had one or two experiences with them. He smile grew wider as Eric amended his statement, telling him that he was infact, not a slut, but he and booze just didn't mix well. Cameron laughed. It was something that was almost ridiculously funny. "Nah. I believe you, its not like we haven't all been there right... except with me, it wasn't always a guy, so then I had angry fathers after me or something, not that I've had too much experoence with that." He said remembering the one time when he'd woken up with a girl in his bed. It really had been funny. But that had been years ago when he had still been in Australia.

"Well, I've been working in bars for four years, I just enjoy working here, it allows me to meet more people, and I figure I'd never be out of a job considering you can never run out of Bartenders right?" He asked laughing slightly. The statement was pretty much true afterall. Every country he went to he made his money like this. It also help him learn the local language faster. That and the fact that he was a a fast learner made it that much easier.

Eric listened to Cameron talk about his personal problems with love or the absence of love. Eric smiled as he was relieved to find that he was not the only one with the stroke of bad luck in the love department. A slower more mellow song came on which was a little more relaxing and the business of the bar seemed to flatline abit since everyone had been served. Eric listened to the guy talk about bartending and all Eric could do was nod in a greement for the world would be a more sober place without someone to pour the drinks. Eric noticed the man had an accent which meant he was not from these part and so Eric decided to be nosey.

"That accent you have tells me that you are not from here, a wild guess would be a austrailia. Am I right?" Eric asked as his sipped more of his beer.

Cameron nodded and smiled. He was indeed from Australia. Though he was surprised that Eric was able to pick it. Not many people could pick his accent. He laughed slighty. "I'm quite surprised at you to be honest. Not many people can pick my accent" he said laughing. Though now he wanted to know alittle more about Eric. Seeing as Eric knew abit about him, it was only fair. "So my friend, where do you work?" He asked.

OOCOut of Character:
OMG! im so sorry at the dismalness of the post :(

Eric was not surprise by the question but always was a hard one to answer since if Cameron was a muggle then he was not allowed to know about hte magical world. Eric stuck his hand in his pocket and began setting to work on the spells that would keep others from ease dropping and also prevent muggles getting close. Eric stuck his wand up his sleeve and readied the spell for mind wiping. "I work for the Ministry of Magic as a Wizard Examanier Authority!" Eric said with a smile as he waited for the man to react to what he had said and if it went bad Eric would act fast and cleanly in making sure no one would know anyhting went wrong.

Cameron nodded as he heard about Eric's choice of career. That was a pretty cool job really. "You work for the Wizard Examiner Authority? Thats pretty cool Eric, I wish I had a magical job really" He said sighing slightly. These days he didn't get to do much in the magical world. He's job seemed to be really cool. Eric was glad that he now knew that Eric was magical, it would definately avoid a potentially awkward situation. "I remember when I was doing my O.W.Ls I really had it in for you guys, and then with my N.E.W.Ts I was even worse" he said shaking his head. He had never really had any love for those guys when he was still in school. "Where did you attend?" he asked smiling slightly.

"I attended Hogwarts in Scotland, Ravenclaw house of course. I was one of the top in my class and have good enough marks to work almost anywhere I want and also I am rich beyond all measure and so I am free to not work if I choose not to but I like working and it keeps me out of trouble. As for your grades some people are not cut out to work for the ministry and I do not see you sitting behind a desk all day filing papers for some higher up who shows not interested in all of your hard work." Eric said as he finished his last beer for the night choosing not to get drunk after talking to the charming bartender Cameron. Eric looked at the young man and wondered if he had this much energy all the time and was always this chiper.

Cameron laughed as he got a boatload of information from Eric. He had never heard some-one blurt out so much in one go. He laughed again and shook his head. “I didn’t realise that you were so in love with your money” He teased as he looked up at the clock. It would be midnight soon. He looked at his friend as he started to move over to the other side of bar. Cameron rolled his eyes and looked back at Eric. “Your right though, I would probably hate working at a desk. I hated classes in school so you know” he said shrugging. He noticed that once Eric had finished his beer he made no efforts to get another. Was he leaving now? Cameron hoped not. “Would you like another beer? Or are you finishing up for the night?” He asked careful not to convey his worry.

Eric smirked as Cameron asked him about his beer,"Don't worry Cameron I am not going anywhere yet I am sticking around a little longer buddy. Bring me a soda on ice please and a cup of water!" Eric said as he was about to prevent any effects of hang over now while he had the chance. " So what school did you go to?" Eric asked as he sat back in his seat and put his hands behind his head revealing just how formfitting his shirt was as it screamed out from the strain Eric strong upper body muscles and biceps that he worked on daily to maintain.

Cameron breathed a very obvious sigh of relief as he was informed by Eric that he would not be going anywhere. He rushed to get the man what he wanted. Before setting it in front of him and laughing slightly. He just knew he looked desperate right now, which was kind of funny seeing as he was usually pretty good at controlling himself. “I went to Beauxbatons actually” He admitted. Often when he told someone he went to Beauxbatons they would laugh. He wasn’t sure why. He figured it was because it was predominantly a girl’s school. He laughed slightly. Though he had never really had many friends in school, he was the type that had a small group of best friends. In his case two of them. Austiin and Abby, they were brother and sister. Austiin was a year ahead of himself and Abby a year below. She was a very nice girl too.

Cameron discreetly started to check him out as he watched Eric sit back in his chair and noticed for the first time, the strong upper body that Eric had. Cameron just knew that he must work very hard to keep himself fit. Cameron was more into the small but strong however. So that’s why he hardly went to the gym. Though he admitted that he could use a tone up. He didn’t like the look of muscles on his own body. Other men however he didn’t mind. “Beauxbatons is a pretty good school though” he continued. “I didn’t really have a huge amount of friends; I’m the kind of person to have two or three very close friends, rather than hundreds of distance friends”.

Eric smiled as the guy rushed to get him his drink and came back and sat down with a slight laugh, Eric found that the guy had a cuteness about him much like a puppy does or a baby bunny even. Eric was not into softer men but then again he was currently having the worse relationship disaster since Sonny and Cher divorced. Eric listened to the young guy speak about attenting Beauxbatons and how he kept his friends small in numbers but the relationships strong. Eric once dated an older guy from Beauxbatons but due to the part that the guy was part veela he decided that it was better to call it quiets.

"I use to know someone who went to beauxbatons but that was a while ago, I hear it is a pretty good school with an awesome reputation for holding some of the worlds hottest people. As for friends I have a few good ones but since I am in the social spotlight alot I am one of those people who know a hundred different people but that is just how i grew up." Eric said as he took a sip of his water first, water would put back what the booze took away and the soda would keep the caffine and sugar levels the same.

OOCOut of Character:
the guy had a cuteness about him much like a puppy does or a baby bunny even =))
Cameron smirked again as Eric mentioned the hot people in Beauxbatons. He wasn’t wrong either. There were alot of very hot people in Beauxbatons. Cameron had dated some. Though they hadn’t really been what he could have called very long relationships. Infact some were lucky to have even lasted a day. And then he had dated Abby for nearly six years. They’d nearly gotten married, but then they had called in quits. It hadn’t been a messy break up. More to the fact that neither wanted to be tied down at the time. But that was two years ago now. Now he wouldn’t mind finding that special some-one. But he also really didn’t mind his single status; it gave him more fulfilment really.

“Well you are pretty spot on about that” he said, referring to Eric’s comment on the hot students. “There really is no denying it. Atleast two of them were my closest friends.” He said laughing slightly. Cameron wasn’t sure whether to feel sorry for Eric or to be happy for him. If Eric was like him, he would not like knowing hundreds of people, if he was like Austiin however, he would like it. So Cameron just decided not to bring it up. “I can’t remember if you’ve already told me or not, if you have, sorry, but what school did you go to? Have you already mentioned it?” He asked as he tilted his head slightly. It was a habit that he didn’t even realise he had. Abby and Austiin thought it was cute and would tell him about it, but Cameron being Cameron, didn’t believe them.

OOCOut of Character:
I dont know where that came from but it was pretty funny :shifty: xD

Eric almost spat his water out as the guy totally forgot that Eric had in fact only a few moments ago told him what school he had attended, the guy must have not been paying much attention to what he was saying but that seemed fine since in fact he was working and Eric was keeping him from his job. Eric recovered quickly having been in a few conversation where the other person was paying attention to every thing but the words coming out of his mouth. Eric did not want the guy to feel bad and so he decided to lie a little to keep the conversation going smoothly and peacefuly.

"I went to hogwarts in Scotland and was sorted into Ravenclaw house." Eric said with a smile as he cleaned up the cup of water he almost spilt when he was recovering from his bits of laughter. Eric realized that the guy was looking at him in with those dreamy eyes that Eric had scene in all of those romance movies that Eric spent to much time watching. Eric found that he was becoming deeply attracted to the blond hair brown eye adonis who also smelled really good! Eric smiled as he came back from his thoughts and looked back at the charming guy.

OOCOut of Character:
Yes it was :D

Cameron raised an eyebrow as Eric almost spat out his water. Had he said something wrong? He shrugged; maybe Eric had just remembered a joke he had forgotten before. Cameron held back a laugh as he proceeded to clean up the water. Cameron handed the man a towel before turning away from him so that he couldn’t see the laugh. He wasn’t sure why, but he had just found that very funny. He turned back to smile at Eric and rolled his eyes. “You know, I did just wash that bench, but thanks for the brush up” He said laughing. “Ravenclaw house huh? So you must be smart then? Though you wouldn’t be in the ministry if you weren’t so I guess that answers my question doesn't it?” He said as he looked out over the people in the bar. Mostly it seemed to have calmed down again. Though truth be told, peak hour was usually around two am.

“So Eric, apart from being at work, what do you usually do in your spare time, watch Quidditch? Go bar hopping? Shopping?” He asked as he looked down at his nails. They were staring to chip so he made a mental note that on his next break he would have to re coat them.

OOCOut of Character:
Uh oh, Nail Polish alert haha.
I wuv my baby

Eric watched the guy check his nails and for the first time notice that the guy was wearing fingernail polish, Eric raised his eyebrow and cocked his head slightly to the side. He had not met many men who wore fingernail polish and back home in the states it was becoming some what of a trend as the punk generation was becoming big once again. Eric after a moment shook himself from his thoughts and smiled at the cute guy once again, "Yeah on my spare time I do anything and everything, I lived in Texas and New York oh and Chicago, so I did the man stuff with my grandpa and dad in Texas like hunting and football games and the whole nine. With mom in New york I went to broadway shows and did the shopping thing with her. If you want I can take you shopping sometime then maybe to dinner and a movie!?" Eric said with a wink and a smile.

Eric found Cameron sexy in a kind of a wild and loose kind of way, it had been ages since he went on a date and so hopefully the first time in a year he would not be turned down or he would give up on men altogetherand become a monk in some mountain temple somewhere far away. Eric wanted and needed it something solid and secure in his life as he tried to make a life for himself in New Zealand. Eric finished off his soda and hoped it would not be awkward or he would have to leave.
OOCOut of Character:

Eric is no feeling self conscious :erm:

Cameron looked up as he noticed Eric looking at his fingers. Cameron hadn't realised that maybe Eric wasn't used to polish on a dude. He laughed slightly and put his hands back down. "Oh I'm sorry, I didn't realise that you weren't used to nail polish" he said as he ran his hand through his hair. He really liked eric and he hoped that he wasn't pushing the guy away by his use of nail polish. He quickly shook his head and smiled at Eric as he listened to what he was being told. "Your Grandfather used to take you fishing and stuff? Thats pretty cool, I never really met my grandfather and Ive never met my real dad. My step dad never accepted me for who I am, and he never liked me for not being his either. My mother was much the same as well, so I basically was by myself all the time" he told the man shrugging. And it was true, for the most part, if it weren't for his half brother Ashton and half sister Bailey, he would have been a very lonely child indeed.

Eric then asked if he could take Cameron shopping and then dinner and a movie. Cameron smiled, was Eric asking him out of a date? He smiled. "Are you asking me out on a date Eric?" He asked as he leaned on the bench. He wondered what Eric's reaction would be to this. He smiled."But yes, I would be delighted to join you" He smiled as he sipped some water he had just made. His throat was becoming sore as it always did on these nights.

Eric went through a thousand different feelings and emotions as he listen to Cameron speak about his family, Eric wanted to hug the guy and make him feel all better but thought better of it since it would be a little wierd to for two guys hugging in the middle of a bar. Eric did not say anything about Camerons family because he knew how hard it was to let someone else talk about your family regardless of if it was only to reiterate what was said. Eric however could hardly contain his excitement when Cameron did say yes to going out with Eric, but Eric could not jump up on the bar and do his happy dance like he would naturally do because that would be just wierd. he would do it when he got home!

"Well you know whatever you seem like a nice guy Bartender Cameron and I need my shopping fix and so why not hang out with some one cool. Do you have a cell or should I send you a ptronus or something like that ?" Eric siad in cool calm voice as he tried to act calm and not desperate as he took a sip of his soda he choked a little which cause his face to turn bright well as he tried to recover.
