Yellow rose for @Kalif Styx II
Vader had read the second name on his list and done a pretty solid double take. It had been seeing the little two next to the name that assured him he wasn't delivering a rose to Professor Kalif Styx. Instead it was to the son/grandson or just someone who shared the name. It did nothing to put him at ease, but after a few short conversations he was directed to the slytherin table and began asking for the boy, "Kalif Styx the second?". he asked to people, he wondered what the boy would be like, curious to see how much was really in a name. Vader fidgted lightly with the camera, unable to stop the nervous feeling he had.

Kalif Styx the Second sat at the Slytherin table, reading one of his textbooks. He also had a bowl full of grapes near him for a snack. He glanced up when he heard an older student asking for him. He cleared his throat, “That’s me.” His tone was cold still.

Vader saw the boy as he cleared his throat, and for a moment in his cold tone, Vader could definitely see why he had gotten the name of Kalif. But, he pushed those thoughts and concerns away and instead headed over to the boy and held out the yellow rose and note to him. "This is for you," he didn't think this boy would want a picture with his rose, but he knew once Kalif had looked at it he would still try to ask.

Dear Kalif,

Smile.

Kalif raised an eyebrow at the note. Really? He set it to the side and muttered, "Pathetic." What a waste of time, as was the rose, which he had abandoned. A light bump to it, and it rolled onto the floor, looking almost like it were defeated.

Vader wondered why someone would send a rose to someone who clearly wasn't interested in roses. He seemed disinterested in general which was in his mind a little different from his namesake. Vader watched the rose fall, "Would you be interested in taking a picture with rose, you could crush it in your hand, or send it away with a spell, and I could take a picture of it?" if people didn't like roses that was up to them, but he felt like he should at least ask, perhaps the boy would like that.

The boy was still there for some reason. Kalif sighed, as he went back to his reading, while answering, "I believe it would be best for you to take a picture of someone who is much more enthusiastic about this holiday and event." This was the polite way of saying hell no, in his mind.
