Alvin sat under a tree to hide himself from the first of the spring sun. It was beating down on the grounds in rays as it tried to break through the clouds. He smiled and opened his book to the page he had gotten to. He had spent the last week acting wierd. He was louder than normal and more outgoing. Now he was back to normal and was happy. He could finally get back into his book again. His mind was completely distracted by the book that he wasn't paying any attention to the world around him.

Ivana cartwheeled through the grounds. She was hapy she decided to wear her denim shorts under the black dress with the pink bow she was wearing. Eventually, like always, she got dizzy and had to sit down. The brunnette sat where she was and crossed her legs, looking around.

Ivana had managed to stod right in front of a boy, under a tree, reading a book. She wasn't sure what it was but he loked sort of like her uncle Jay. "Is it interesting?" Her dreamy voice floated to him.

Alvin looked up when he heard someone speaking. He saw a girl sat in front of him. She looked a bit puffed out from something but he wasn't going to ask questions. Mainly because he didn't want to. "Oh...um...yeah. It is."

Alvin closed his book and frowned at her. She was odd compared to other girls he had met. "Umm...what are you doing??" He didn't want to sound rude. He was just confused.

Alvin was getting more and more confused by the second. He didn't get this girl at all. "A grass angel??" He shook the thought out of his head. This girl was obviously mental. "I'm reading a book."

Ivana sighed. "Yes a grass angel. It's like a snow angel but I don't like only being allowed to make those in the winter. She humphed in a jokey way and lead back, continuing her angel. "I know you were reading. It wasn't a real question."

"O...k" Alvin frowned and kept his eyes on her. He was finding it hard to work her out. "Now you're really confusing me. What are you on about??"

Ivana leant up again and smiled in a slightly scary way. "I like confusing people." Her freaky smile left and a normal one arrived. Ivana felt that, if people were going to dislike her anyway, she might as well have a little fun first. Markov showed her that, her brother was one of her best friends.

Alvin kept a frown on his face. "You're more crazy than my sisters put together." He laughed when he realised he was being less quiet again. It was odd and he didn't like it.

Ivana smiled. "Thank you. What's your name?" He seemed nice, Markov wanted to know everyone who was nice to her. He also wanted to know who was mean to her but that was so he could beat them up. Like he did to Mark. That was funny in her opinion.

"Oh...um..." Alvin was always iffy about giving his name to complete strangers. This girl seemed nice though. Nothing could be wrong with someone this kind. Even if she was mental. "I'm Alvin."

"Hi Alvin, I'm Ivy. Short for Ivana." Ivana waited for him to make the connection to the fight that happened last week. he entire school knew about her brother and his friend beating up the Mark kid and why. For her and Cece. She could hear people still gossiping about it as she walked past, especially as she had nutted him with stiletto's on afterwards.

Alvin laughed when he heard her name. He didn't hear much gossip about people in the school but it was hard not to hear about the fight a few weeks a go. "Oh. I heard about that fight." He smiled.

Ivana smiled. "Yeah, my brother's very protective of me." She shrugged, there was nothing she could do about it. It was because of the stupid bullies when she started school. He had beaten them up and everyone who made her upset eve since. "Though, I don't think he appreciated my part in it much." She had had fun nutting Mark, especially after he made her cry.

Alvin smiled. He knew he'd want to hurt someone if they layed a finger on Daisy. Whether he actually would or not was a whole different matter. He just wasn't a violent person. "It was impossible not to hear what happened. It's cool that your brother would do that for you though. You must mean a lot to him." Then he frowned. "What did you do??"

Ivana giggled. "Umm, Well Mark came to apologise so my brother would stop pounding on him and I may have nutted him. With my stiletto's." She couldn't hhelp but giggle, the guy had stolen her first kiss so he could show off to a mate of his. In her book he deserved the cracked ribs and broken jaw and dislocated shoulder, though the shoulder was for a different thing.

Alvin winced and held his crotch. "Youch." He laughed. "What did he do to make you do that. I knew your brother had beat him up because he hurt you but I didn't know you had hurt him." Alvin found this funny and couldn't help but laugh. Of course, he wanted to stay on her good side. He personally wanted to keep that part of his body.

Ivana smiled. "He kissed me to show off. I don't take nicely to being used like tha. He got a knee when he did it, a beating up from Markov for making me sad and a stiletto heel for apologising wihtout meaning it." She shrugged. "It seemed fair to me. It was my first kiss after all." She wasn't shy about admiting it. It seemed loads of girls here had kissed boys, or girls, before they were twelve but Ivana was proud that se hadnt. She hadn't even had a boyfriend yet.

Alvin shrugged. "Makes sense. I haven't had my first kiss. Unless you count my mum. It doesn't count in my opinion though." Alvin stopped talking when he realised he was starting to ramble. It was something he did when he got nervous.

Ivana smiled. "I think everyone should have their first kiss with someone they like, that's why I'm not counting Mark's one. Besides, he tried to stick his tongue down my throut. It was icky." She giggled, Mark was nasty in her opinion and she couldn't see how her brother could just forgive him after that. Though, he was loads more forgiving that she was, Ivana knew how to hold a grudge.

"Urgh. He sounds like a complete pr!ck. I expect if I were you, I would have done the same thing." Although Alvin wasn't a violent person, he would have hurt Mark. He sounded like the kind of guy who needed to learn a few lessons in how to respect a female.

Ivana giggled. "If you were me you wouldn't be so confused by my grass angels earlier. You also wouldn't be wearing that outfit." She giggled and struck a very posh model pose before breaking into fits of giggling.

"Ok. Whatever." He laughed. Alvin couldn't believe how much he was starting to like Ivy. It was weird and he didn't understand it fully. "What's wrong with what I'm wearing anyway."
