Baby Steps

[Lennon Cohen-Knight]

Lennon was enjoying spending time with Sofia and getting to know her. He had definitely developed a crush on her but he was finding it a little difficult to break past the barriers she seemed to put up. He couldn't help but think that perhaps he definitely had a type, but tried not to think about what that meant and instead chose to focus on the positives, like the fact that he would be attending the dance with Sofia tonight and he couldn't wait to see her. He currently had his suit jacket on, but given how hot it got sometimes he knew it would come off by the end of the night, so he made sure he looked okay in his plaid shirt underneath. The Ravenclaw waited for her outside of the double doors so he could spot her when she came.

Sofia catched herself on looking forward to the Valentine Dance. She tried to stay a bit neutral on Lennon, because her phobia affected a big part of her life. Her feelings said she wanted to be with Lennon but her mind said, no don't do it, don't get attached to him. It was a big fight inside of her mind and it made her tired. The blonde went downstairs and dressed up a little, but not too much. She put on a leather skirts and a tanktop and was ready to see Lennon. She would have fun tonight, but she never really spoke much about her life and stuff with Lennon. Perhaps she had to share a bit, step by step. The blonde saw Lennon waiting on her outside of the Great Hall and smiled shortly. '' Hi Lennon. Ready to escort me inside?'' the blonde said to him.

Lennon was somewhat nervous as he waited for Sofia to show up, and smiled as soon as he saw her approach. "Hi!" he grinned as soon as he saw her. "Wow you look great," he said with an appreciative smile. Any nervousness or doubts he was feeling somehow went away at seeing how good she looked. He nodded at her question and offered his arm for her to take as they walked into the great hall. Normally he was the type to go straight to the refreshments table but Lennon was feeling bold so he turned to Sofia and asked, "Would you like to dance?"
