Autumn winds blow this way

Becca wandered into the Great Hall, her usual glamourous self. The hem of her robes had tiny silver and gold bows sewn onto it. Her wavy blonde hair hung loose around her elbows, dotted with little hairclips. She sat down at the Hufflepuff table, and grabbed a waffle. Breakfast was the most important meal of the day apparently, and Becca was starving. She started to eat, wondering if anyone would join her.

Patricia woke up that morning, more tired than she expected. First day of classes must have taken more out of her than she had expected. Pulling on her uniform she looked outside to the trees in the background, their leaves were changing to different colors, it was Autumn.

Giving a stretch and a yawn Patricia made her way down to the Great Hall for breakfast before class started, hoping a cold drink of apple juice would waken her up and some food would help get her through to lunch time.

Entering the Great Hall she looked of at the Hufflepuff table, to see if any of her friends were there to keep her company. Then she saw Becky, the second year who had returned from Beaubaxtons for the start of the year. It was good to have friends return. Making her way over to her she sat beside her, "Morning Becky." She said with a smile. "How are you?"

Becca turned and looked at Patricia. "Morning Trisha!" she said happily. "Tired, but good, you?" she said. Potions class was her least favourite class, she was miles behind the rest of her year.
