Aurors

I need an Auror for a plot of mine, and this issue came up. We found a way to work around it, but I'm curious.

How do you contact the Aurors? In NZ it's really well publicised that you dial 111. Wizards and witches should have something like that too.

Well, it wouldn't be a phone number like 111, 112, 911, or 999 (depending on the region of the world you're in).

I would assume that it would be similar to how a wizard or witch calls/summons the Knight Bus in the UK. With some sort of wand motion.
This, however, is never shown in the novels and it is impossible for us to know for sure.
