Samual got the feeling that Sara wasn't as enthusiastic about family as he did, but then again he was raised to love his family, no matter what. Because family was family and even if you hate them, you're still connected and will always share something, even if some of his cousins didn't think that, but he rarely saw them, in fact, he couldn't even remember their names, but that was because one side were Muggles, that didn't understand, nor appriciate magic, while the other side were pure-bloods, that didn't understand, nor appriciate that blood status didn't really mean much at all. Two different extremes, no wonder why there was predujice in the world. Samual nodded slowly. Having older siblings was okay, but as usual, there were downsides to every situation in life. Sometimes he found it difficult to connect with his older siblings because of the personality differences. Most of them were very serious people, and could only on occasion be playful, or they had no interest in hanging out with Samual because they had a totally different opinion on what was fun and exciting. Another annoying thing was that he was treated like a breakable china-doll, he was never told anything that could possibly effect their lives because everyone seemed to think that if Samual was let in on any family problems-and he knew there were some, he'd die or something. Now that he had Hamish and Bethany living with them all, everyone still didn't change their views. Samual was still the baby that had to be treated as such, he was sure even Hamish and Bethany were treated as if they were responsible, and they were three! "Yeah, I'm one of the youngest, there are only two that are younger than me. They're three." He explained. Even his youngest niece was three, she was adorable and Samual loved her, in fact, he loved all three of them, even if they tended to gang up on him and would sometimes manage to trip him over and attack him, he couldn't do a think about it either, since he'd get in trouble off his sister if he even glared at them.
Samual thought about it, then nodded, being fit probably helped people a lot, though upper-arm fitness was probably more important, even though flying and controlling a broom could strain some peoples legs. "I guess so, but you'd have to be careful, imagine tripping over and then falling down all those steps... that would probably hurt more than thinking a pirates sword was a banana... maybe." Samual was suprised slightly that Sara was used to the stairs at all, he still couldn't stand going to Astronomy because he would get a stitch or something on the way up, one time he nearly slipped over because his feet seemed to get heavier with every step. It was much easier to go down stairs than up. Samual did most of the classes, though he didn't do Arithmancy, because he happened to see some of the work Nadia did when she was in third year doing it and decided tha he wouldn't go near the subject, there were far too many numbers for his brain to register, just thinking about it all made his head hurt, and how could he enjoy a class that gave him headaches? The only other classes he didn't really like were Potions, because it was in the Dungeons, and Defence Against the Dark Arts, because Professor Styx was scary. "But if you did do those classes, you'd have to be walking all over the school, as well as doing classes that are in lower levels." He reasoned. Samual glanced up at the Towers and nodded, Sara was right, the view was amazing, whenever Samual could be bothered to actually walk up the stairs, atleast he wasn't disappointed with the view, because from the right Tower window, you could see all the grounds, and sometimes you could see people having fun on the lawns and swimming, if you had good eyes, so Samual agreed fully with her, because he also really loved heights, he was one of those people that could fly up into the air, look down and not feel scared. He was really comfortable with heights, and so loved the Towers, it was just annoying having to get to the Towers. Samual smiled and nodded. The Gryffindor Common rooms were in the Towers, but not as high as the Ravenclaw Common rooms, he knew that for a fact since he had gone to the Ravenclaw enterance to wait for Nadia on occasion, since he couldn't actually step inside the Common room, it could sometimes be quite a wait, since the entrance wouldn't even open up just a little bit so he could call for her, it was quite rude. "They are, sort of, but not as high up as the Ravenclaw Common room, so it's so much easier." He explained. It was amazing how much difference one staircase could make when you're climbing it.
Samual broke into laughter as once again Sara randomly shouted, he was starting to expect it and even predict it, which would probably make her more embarrassed than she already was. "Don't worry about it." He soothed, if she shouts so loud that trees fall down. then he might have something negative to say about it, but for now it was fine. Samual stick his tongue out childishly, the subject of bananas and pirate swords was getting crazy, soon they'd be talking about trying to peel a pirates sword, which would potentially be interesting to watch, if such a thing could ever be done. Samual was glad that she agreed with him on the subject of rabbits, they really were great, but unfortunately he didn't get a rabbit to bring to Hogwarts New Zealand, he had a raven named Corvin, because that was such a nice name. "I really like how when they hop around and stuff, their little tails wiggle." He said smiling. Rabbit were a really cute animal, and if anyone denied it, then they obviously didn't know what a rabbit was. Samual nodded as Sara explained to him about clouds. He wasn't sure where she learnt something like that, it was really interesting. When he was really young, Samual attended a muggle school, but that was only for a few months because he found it difficult to communicate with the muggle children and would become frustrated when he realised that not only could he not talk about his family too much, but he couldn't invite people home, and the kids didn't understand why he saw things completely different to them. So he was taken out and then later he just stayed home, so sometimes he lacked knowledge on certain things, but mostly he thought he knew enough to get by, he never thought about learning about clouds. It sounded a little complicated, because Samual saw a cloud as a cloud, sometimes he'd call it an angry cloud, but otherwise he still considered it a cloud none-the-less, to hear that there were three different types of cloud just made him shake his head slowly. "Don't try and explain it, I'll just get more confused." He admitted. He doubted that he'd ever need the knowledge, but it was pretty cool that Sara knew that sort of stuff, general knowledge was always cool. "But you never know, I might learn it in Muggle Studies next year." He added. Samual liked Muggle Studies, he also liked his Professor, she was really nice, but when she first greeted them, she forgot her own name, so she was a little goofy too.
Samual clapped his hands together and nodded happily. "Yeah I did, I really love Christmas, it's a shame I don't celebrate it that much..." He admitted. Being magical sucked. In his fourteen years of life, he had only celebrated Christmas twice, and it had to be one of the best holiday celebrations ever, who didn't love a day that was spent with family, friends and the exchanging of presents and sitting down and eating a gigantic meal together? As she told him that she did the horoscopes, he smiled. "I like those, I think I'm a Leo or something, which I find funny, because I'm in Gryffindor, and they're both got something to do with Lions!" Sometimes the most simplest things got Samual excited, because he was an excitable person and sometimes appriciated the littler things in life, like the 'amazing' coincidence that he was a Leo, and was in Gryffindor. When Sara commented on Nadia's age, he nodded, Nadia was a Sixth year, while Kate was a Fifth year, and since Sara was Kate's twin, he figured that she was in the same year. "Yeah, she's in Sixth year. Because of certain circumstances, my sister adopted her, and now she's my niece. But sometimes I forget." He explained, that would probably make it a little clearer for her, though he wasn't going to go into why Nadia was adopted, because he wasn't sure of Nadia's standing on the issue, since she never spoke about it, so he wasn't going to talk about it without her verbal okay, because that would be rude. Samual agreed, he really liked how windy it was, even if that seemed to make some people cautious. "I like the wind in my curls, it feels really nice." Samual really loved people touching his hair, it tickled and felt nice, aslong as they didn't pull on his hair, because that really hurt. "Thankyou, it's one of my favourite words." Fantabulous seemed to have the power to make people happier, it certainly made Samual happier. Sometimes he would playfully think about whether it was a happy spell or something, but they were always sarcastic thoughts. "Yeah it is." He answered. It was easy to tell, but occasionally people amazed him by asking him what the two words were, he thought it was obvious. "That's like the oposite for my and my older siblings." He explained in amazement, his easy-to-please personality coming out again. "I used to have straight blonde hair like everyone else, and I used to be super pale. But as I grew older, my skin darkened, my hair curled and I'm a brunette! My childhood friends that I having seen for ages probably wouldn't recognise me." He elaborated. Samual looked more like his father than his other siblings, though Samual wasn't exactly tan, he was a lot darker than his nearly snow coloured siblings. In all honesty, Samual couldn't imagine Sara screaming at someone, but if someone was angry enough, they could be totally out-of-character. Samual watched her finish the daisy thing curiously, it looked really cool, and he chuckled quietly as she 'crowned' him. "Why thankyou Queen Sara." He repliedin a mock English accent. "How do you make these things?" He finally asked, his curiousity finally getting the better of him.
