Name: Addison Donnelly
House: Ravenclaw
Lesson Number(s): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Lesson 1
Addison knew that Astronomy would not be the easiest time to go to this lesson. However, despite this, she went up the stairs to the first astronomy lesson, the girl settled into one of the free seats, then the lesson began. She listened to the professor and wrote down everything that was said. As soon as they were ready to go, Addison packed her things in her bag, said goodbye and went down the stairs.

Lesson 2
Going to the Astronomy Tower, Addison never imagined that she would ever go anywhere outside the castle. She looked at Professor Zumwalt with wide eyes of surprise when she started the lesson by telling them that they were going to the Lapp Shamans. As soon as they were invited to touch the portkey to go on a journey. She was amazed by the place they ended up in. It was incredibly beautiful. Especially when she saw the Northern Lights, it was beautiful. When it was time to go back to the castle, Addison was still excited. She gathered her things, said goodbye and thanked Professor Zumwalt for the unique trip, then left the classroom.

Lesson 3
The week flew by so quickly that she literally didn't notice, so Addison climbed the Astronomy tower, then settled into the classroom, waiting for the lesson to begin. Soon, Professor Zumwalte began the lesson. The topic of the day was zodiac signs and zodiac constellations, she wrote down everything the professor said. As soon as they could leave, Addison took her things, said goodbye to the professor, then slowly climbed down the stairs.

Lesson 4
The year was almost over. Addison couldn't believe she had actually made it through this one, there was still so little left. She went to her fourth lesson, astronomy. After settling into her usual spot in the classroom, it wasn't long before the lesson began. Addison wrote down everything the professor said about the southern hemispheres and the northern hemispheres. She took in every word the professor said and wrote it down in her notes. As soon as they could be free, Addison packed her things in her bag and left the classroom.

Lesson 5
Before the last Astronomy lesson, Addison settled into the classroom to see and listen to what the professor was talking about in this lesson. They didn't have to wait long to see what awaited them today. They had another trip to Alaska in their plans. The assignment the professor gave was quite difficult, but she tried to do it as well as she could. As soon as the lesson and a half had passed, she had to go back to the castle. When she got to the classroom, Addison said goodbye to the professor and left the classroom.

Lesson 6
It was the last Astronomy lesson. Addison climbed the stairs to the tower, then settled into her usual place, then the lesson began. She had a feeling that today she would have to study for the exam. She did so until the end of the lesson, until it was time to leave. She put her things in her bag, then said goodbye to the professor as she left and wondered what the exam would be like.

Name: Angelo Dela Cruz
Year: 2
Lesson Number(s): 3

Angelo listened to the lesson about planets. It was familiar at least, and made life easier while taking notes.

Name Daisuke Kaster
Year 2nd
Lesson Number(s) 5, 2, 3, 4, 1

Daisuke went up to Astronomy and listened as the professor discussed asteroids and the Kirkwood Gap. He took careful notes and looked at the photos in awe throughout the lesson.

Daisuke settled himself in Astronomy and took out his notes. He'd never really thought much about the sun before so he didn't really think there was that much to learn about it. He wrote about the sun and Elizabeth Willowvale on his notes until class ended.

Daisuke wondered what they would be studying tonight in Astronomy—planets, apparently. He took notes on the four planets they were discussing and he thought that Mars was the most interesting aside from planet Earth.

Daisuke was looking forward to this lesson. He'd done some reading and thought that the rest of the planets were more fascinating than the first four. During the discussion, he was more focused when they were discussing Jupiter and Pluto.

Daisuke liked Astronomy but coming back to school was an adjustment so he was a bit too tired to keep up with his notes, more focused on trying to stay awake in a class held late at night. He at least managed to stay awake the whole time and left hastily in embarrassment.

Name: Cassandra Cohen
Year: 4th
Lesson Number(s): 1

Cassandra didn't really mind astronomy too much, it was an okay subject. However she was kind of thrilled to see who he Professor on this subject would be here, just like on all of her subjects thanks to coming in as a exchange student for the year everyone were new. Settling into the classroom she set her blue eyes on the rather young looking Professor, back in Scotland most her Professors had been the same age as her parents or even older so it was a nice change to see so many younger Professors. Ones that maybe had yet not forgotten the pressure of school and thus weren't so far up in the clouds on their high horses.

Cassie listened to what the woman explained about stars and made a few notes and admiring the beauty of the stars shown. The discussion was very detailed, which was good for note taking and probably useful come exam time. By the end of it the Gryffindor's parchment was filled pretty well and before exciting the room she gave a quick smile to the professor.

Name: Henri fontaine
Year: 2nd
Lesson Number(s): 5

Henri walked into the astronomy classroom and took his usual spot in the room. He looked to the professor and took out his notes and books as the professor told them what they’d be covering within the lesson. Asteroids. He took down what the professor was telling them, what asteroids were, what they were made up of and how big they were. He took down where they were largely found within their solar system and then thankfully the lesson was wrapped up and he was able to leave. He packed up his things and headed out of the room.

Rose Glass
First Year

Lesson One
Rose wasn't sure what to make of the subject of Astronomy. Surely that was more about stars and the moon more than it was about magic? Trying to keep an open mind (and open eyes given the hour) she headed toward her first lesson of the semester, taking a seat in the tower. At least it was close to her common room, unlike Slytherin who had to make a special effort to come all the way up here at night. Rose was happy to listen to the other students as they answered the questions, and made a few notes of her own here and there. At the end of the lesson she packed up her things and headed back to bed, hopeful for a lie in the morning.

What are you hoping to learn about in Astronomy?:[/b] Why is Astronomy important for magic?

Name: Naveen Khatri
Year: Fourth Year
Lesson Number(s): 1,2,3

Lesson One
Naveen had returned this year determined to try a bit harder in his lessons this year. Usually his sister was the more studious out of the two of them but after Anisha graduated last year he started to feel some slight pressure to keep up his family's reputation, and he couldn't quite do that with poor grades. He slowly climbed the stairs up to the astronomy tower and was gasping for air by the time he made it. This class was never his strongest and it was a little embarrassing considering his aunt studied this kind of stuff for a living. He guessed he could write her if it came to that but he wasn't sure if that would be more embarrassing. He took his seat and caught his breath as the lesson began. They only had a brief introduction before they got straight into the lecture. He took notes and tried to stay focused, he only doodled in the margins of his notes a little bit. He yawned as they wrapped up the lesson and was glad they didn't have any homework.

Lesson Two
Naveen wasn't sure when the climb up the tower would be come less of a chore, but it wasn't today. He wasn't sure how Cyrus managed to do it living in the Ravenclaw tower. Without comment he took his seat and got out his things to take notes. He finally caught his breath as the lesson began and he kept his head down as he tried to keep up with the lecture. His hand was tired by the time they finished and he was glad to have a break to use their telescopes. He had been yawning a lot and it would be easier to stay awake as he looked up into the sky. He had decent luck finding what he was supposed to until they were finally dismissed.

Lesson Three
Naveen was exceptionally exhausted today as he climbed up the stairs to class. It felt farther today than it had in the past which didn't seem right but there wasn't anything he could do about that. He felt heavily into his chair and was a bit slower to pull out his things to take notes. But he had his pen ready but the time the professor began. He took notes on the galaxies they went over and couldn't help doodling some spiraling stars in the corner of his page. The lesson was fairly short and he was grateful they didn't have homework as he packed up his things to leave.

Aiya Owens-Lee
Slytherin First year
Lessons 1, 2 & 3

Lesson One
Aiya was finally at Hogwarts now and she was glad that she could now experience everything that her family spoke about. It wasn’t the same school as either of her parents went to, but it was the same one as her cousins were going to and the same one where her aunt had been. Aunt Gwen always had so much to say about it, and Aiya really hoped that it was going to live up to its hype as she packed everything she needed into her backpack and headed to classes for that day.

Aiya entered the Astronomy class with a yawn and sat down in a seat near the front of the room. The professor was quite young and probably one of the youngest professors at the school so far. She introduced herself and gave them a few topics that they would be learning about over the semester. She rambled for quite some time before giving them a quiz to fill out at the end of the lesson. Aiya quickly scribbled her answers before leaving.

Name: Aiya Owens-Lee
House and Year: Slytherin... also I don't think I need to put what year I'm in?
Favorite Book: I don't have one.
What are you hoping to learn about in Astronomy? I'm not sure. I didn't choose to be here.

Lesson Two
The second week came around quickly and Aiya still wasn’t sure how she felt about classes. Some things were interesting, and some things really weren’t, and she considered joining a club just so she could potentially have something else to do outside of the boring homework. With a sigh, the Slytherin followed her classmates to all of her classes.

As Aiya entered the Astronomy classroom, she sighed and took a seat within the room. She didn't enjoy the class too much during the previous lesson and really had no interest in it. But she would just do as she was told because she quite literally had no other choice. She took out her writing equipment as the professor began lecturing them about stars and things in the sky. She wondered why she would need to know all of this. When instructed, she followed the class outside where the professor took them to a lookout on the cliffs where they could see the stars in all their glory. Aiya wondered what the point of all this was before she headed back to her dormitory after being dismissed.

Lesson Three
Aiya had to admit that she wasn’t as excited about her classes as she thought she would be. Most of them were boring and she was starting to feel a little trapped as she had no other choice but to attend them. She found herself getting a little sad, as she wasn’t able to speak with her aunt or her dad everyday anymore, and intended to write to them soon to distract herself from everything. With a sigh, the Slytherin headed to her classes.

Aiya nodded a greeting towards the professor as she entered the classroom and took her usual seat. The professor began lecturing them again and so the girl took out her writing equipment so that she could try and keep up with it. As the professor made a night sky appear above them, Aiya stared at it with wide eyes. She liked how magic did that, and wondered if the professor would ever teach them this spell. As the lesson came to an end, she was quick to leave the classroom so that she could go back to her dormitory.

Name: Tessaria Carter
Year: Second
Lesson Number(s): Lesson One

Lesson One
Tessaria was glad to no longer be amongst the youngest group of students. Watching the sorting ceremony take place was fun, and it was interesting to see how nervous and how excited some of the new first years were. She hoped she’d be able to befriend some of them and was looking forward to the semester. She had her first week of classes to attend, and so packed her backpack and headed to them.

Tessaria entered the Astronomy classroom, hoping this year would be somewhat interesting. She took a seat within the room and reverted her attention to the front as the professor began speaking. A Geocentric universe sounded silly, and further proved the fact that humans really did think everything revolved around them. The Gryffindor wrote some notes as the professor spoke, and didn't bother trying to answer the professor's question as she most certainly didn't know the answer. She was disappointed as the professor gave them some homework, and was just quick to leave the classroom once dismissed.

Name: Priyanka Bakshi
House: Ravenclaw
Lesson Number(s): 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Lesson 2
It was already hard to stay up so late, but Priyanka wanted to know what the professor would talk about in this lesson this time. She settled into the classroom, then she had to wait for the professor to start the lesson. There was no long wait. The professor said that they would go outside to look at the stars. Of course, Priya wrote down everything that the professor told her. This lesson seemed very interesting. She looked up at the night sky with great excitement and enthusiasm and watched the bright stars.

Lesson 3
Priyanka went to her third astronomy class. This time she literally ran to the astronomy class because she wanted to find out what the professor was going to tell her as soon as possible. She settled into the class, took her notes from her bag, put her bag on the floor, and waited for the class to start. After a few minutes, the professor started the class. In this one, too, they were told about the stars that move in the sky. Priyanka caught every word the professor said and it all seemed really interesting and exciting, so she wanted to learn as much as possible. Everything the professor said was written down because it would definitely come in handy when she needed to study for the exam.

Lesson 4
Priyanka had already settled in one of the first in astronomy, because she arrived a few minutes early to take the best seats and repeated what she had learned earlier. Now all that was left was to wait. Then when the professor started, that today's topic was about the earth's rotation around the sun, Priyanka was very interested, because she had always been interested in how the earth revolved around the sun. She wrote down every word in her notes, which the professor at one point even listened with her mouth open to everything she heard and of course wrote down, because it would be useful and also because in this lesson she really learned about the earth what she really wanted to know. When the lesson ended and she was walking out of the classroom, the girl still thought about what she had heard.

Lesson 5
It was before the last astronomy class that Priyanka was really sorry that this had happened. So she ran to astronomy to get there faster and find out what would be discussed this time. They had a chance to prepare for the exam, which was not far away. The universe was truly infinite. Priyanka wrote down every word of the professor so as not to miss anything, because it was not only interesting, but it would all be useful. She wrote everything down with great enthusiasm, but at the end of the class they were asked various questions that Priya knew, but still allowed others to answer, so when the class was over she took her things and left the classroom, thinking about everything.

Lesson 6
The last astronomy lesson. Priyanka was sitting in the classroom because she had arrived on time and settled in her usual place. Today was a review lesson. As her grandmother had said, review is very important because it always helped. She sat on the table with open notebooks, where everything was written down, what they had studied and all of it had to be repeated. She repeated until the end of the lesson, but when she could go, Priyanka thanked the professor for the interesting lessons, then took her things and left the classroom.
