Vikram Bakshi
Second Year Ravenclaw
Lessons One through Three

One:

Vikram was content to be back at school. He felt well established here at the school. He had his routines, a small select group he liked to socialize with, paths he liked to walk. And it was nice to be away from home- he enjoyed the solitude of his room but his parents were always a little more overbearing when he'd returned.

He found his way to class and took his place, smiling at the Professor. Astronomy was such a chill class, he liked the aesthetic of it. He scribbled out some notes, filled out the homework, and tossed a final smile to the Professor before heading out, lost in thought.

Two:

The semester had just started, and Vikram was happy with it. Dance plans were well underway, and he had a few ideas for some surprises brewing. But that was far ahead- for now he just wanted to work on his schoolwork and enjoy being a kid. Winnie (as lovely as she was) could wait a bit to get the full brunt of his focus. As long as he didn't change his mind, at least, but he didn't see himself doing that. He liked her- she was easy to talk to and he liked her drive. Vikram shook his head, trying to clear it. He was just homesick, really, and thinking of home tended to bring her to mind as the whole arrangement was often a topic of conversation.

Ready to just buckle down and forget it all for a while, Vikram took his seat in class, smiling at the Professor. Astronomy was usually a simple subject- they talked about the heavens and honestly it was relaxing. The professor had a lovely voice. He took some decent notes, but he had to shake his head a few times to keep from dozing off during class. He was relieved when they were dismissed- it was obviously bedtime.

Three:

The semester was already halfway over. Vikram tried not to think too much into it, as it brought up question about the concept of time and somehow that was just a rabbit hole. Were all twelve year olds this philosophical? He was curious if any of his classmates were caught up in the deep thoughts he found plaguing his own mind. He tried to shake it off, knowing he needed to get to class.

He made his way to Astronomy, humming under his breath. If there was one thing he especially missed about being home, it was the music. It could be so quiet here. He took his seat, already knowing they were in for a lecture. He took some half hearted notes, biting back a yawn once or twice until they were thankfully released, heading back to the dorm to get some sleep.

Daisuke Kaster
First
Lesson Two

Daisuke was bundled up in his robes, the chill of the air wasn't exactly the best. He never really thought much about the stars before, but the idea of seeing thousands of stars at night seemed unreal. He stayed at the back of the group, keeping his head down as they were led out to the grounds. When they finally reached the open area, Daisuke craned his neck upward and felt his breath still for a moment. The sky was massive and littered with stars. It was easier to spot the constellations when one knew what they were looking for and he was amazed by it. He would have taken notes if he wasn't so busy looking up. This was probably the shortest class they had because Daisuke felt that it was too early to be going back once they were told class was over.

Sayuri Edogawa
Second
Lesson Three

Sayuri sighed as she listened to the class. Astronomy wasn't exactly her favorite subject but some of the topics she supposed were interesting enough. Still, the idea of learning about planets she would never actually step foot in was a bit ridiculous. At least there was not homework this time. It was going to be annoying that there were still a number of planets to get through which she was assuming would be discussed in the next class. She tucked her notes back into her bag and left one the professor wrapped up the lesson.

Name: Imogen Styx-Cade
Year: Second Year
Lessons Missed: 1 and 2

One:
The blonde was very much ready to be among the prettiest girls in the classroom. Imogen Styx-Cade felt that she had everything she ever needed. She needed good grades to do well in her life after she left here. Imogen knew that her name would only carry her so far. The rest she would have to do on her own. The Slytherin girl brushed her hair once more, and grabbed her backpack. She left the Slytherin house to head out to continue her day. Imogen entered the Astronomy tower and found her seat near the middle. That was where she preferred it to be. Professor Zumwalt started the lesson. up with a greeting, and how they would be focusing on the terms for their own solar system. That meant that she might actually have to pay attention. She took a few notes, but even she had to admit, she was daydreaming for half of the lesson. She would definitely need some help filling in the blanks. Imogen got up and left once she heard the dismissal.

Two:
Imogen Styx-Cade wondered if this year would be a good year. She was doing okay in classes already, but she wanted to do more. Imogen also did not want to use all of her effort either. Was there a way to get good grades and not try? Imogen would have to figure it out. Maybe she could just charm people. She might not be part-veela but maybe she could mimic their gimmicks and go from there. Imogen shoved that thought to the side, as she grabbed her backpack and left the Slytherin girl dorms to head to class. It took her a while but she managed to make it to the Astronomy tower. Professor Zumwalt started the lesson with going over the sun. And how the sun was a star. She wrote down some of the notes over the sun. She also wrote down the name of whoever Willowvale was, but she neglected to write down what she had done. Oops. She will have to get her notes finished up outside of the class. She got up and left the classroom once they were free to go.

Name: Ravage Zhefarovich
Year: Second Year
Lessons Missed: 1, 2, 5

One:
The Slytherin knew that today was not going to be an enjoyable day. Ravage Zhefarovich had everything ready in his room and in his bag. He just needed to get up and go to the classroom that he needed to go to that day. He was just waiting for the moment so that he would not be too early, and he would not be too late either. He liked being on time. Never tardy. The last thing he wanted was a letter to his parents. Ravage did not want to deal with that drama. He was sure that his older twin brothers brought them enough pain on their own. Ravage checked the time once more, and decided that it was now or never. He grabbed his bag and left the Slytherin house to head on to his lesson.

Ravage entered the Astronomy Tower after one long climb up. He did not mind it so much, but it was rather inconvenient. Professor Zumwalt greeted the second years and then let them know that they were going back to astronomical terms, and then some muggle astronomer. Ravage did not really care for Astronomy, but he did pay attention somewhat. Ravage pitied the poor soul of anyone who did not know what an eclipse was. They had a little bit of homework but they were free to leave. He got up and left the towers.
Two:
Ravage Zhefarovich hoped that this week would be better than the previous week because the first week was always too boring. It was introductory. They were never any fun. Ravage wanted something to entice his interest. He packed his things together and knew that today might not be as bad. He could try to look at it in a different light. While that was only a temporary solution, he could still try. Ravage left the Slytherin house to walk to his next class. He walked alone - which was not unusual. He still liked his privacy and hated making small talk. That was the absolute worst.

Ravage entered the Astronomy tower once more, and settled in his seat. He took out his parchment, ink and quill to get started on the lecture, which was over the sun. Ravage wrote down some of the key facts about the sun that was listed on the board, and some of what Professor Zumwalt said. He figured that this was just any old lesson of mere observation and assumption than just facts. He got up and left the classroom once he had the homework assignment down.
Five:
It was getting close to the end of the semester and Ravage Zhefarovich felt that some might be a little stressed from it. It was hard to stress someone like Ravage about. He had twin older brothers by the names Horror and Terror. There was very little that someone could do to stress him. Or even bring him any amount of agitation. Sure, there were certain types of girls that did annoy him to some degree, but that was rare too. Ravage was having a decent time at school. It was worth coming here to learn at the same institute as his parents, under the same house as his dear mother. He noticed what time it was, and grabbed his bag to head out to endure another lesson that he might be bored in.

Ravage walked in the Astronomy tower and sat down. He watched Professor Zumwalt sip her tea before they were greeted rather enthusiastically. Today, they were moving on to asteroids. He got out his note taking equipment so that he could get a move on. He jotted down some of the names that were mentioned, as well as the locations. This he felt would be helpful on the upcoming exam. After the lesson was over, the second years did not have any homework. Ravage got up and left after sorting his belongings in his bag.

Rhea Moss
Second Year Ravenclaw
Lessons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Lesson 1
Rhea felt tired today because she hadn't really slept, so she was tired almost all day, but she still went to astronomy because it was always cool to watch the stars. She climbed the stairs, then settled down in the remaining free space, took out her notes so she could write down what was expected in this year's astronomy lesson. Rhea tried to write everything down carefully so as not to miss anything. She wrote everything down by the end of the lesson, as soon as the lesson was over and they could be free. The girl put her things in her bag, said goodbye to the professor, then left the classroom.

Lesson 2
A week passed and the second astronomy lesson was already here. This time Rhea was cheerful enough and had slept well to better understand what the lesson was saying, because the second lesson usually started with more interesting things than the first. She settled into the classroom as soon as she had climbed the stairs, although this time she was a little out of breath, because the climb seemed too long. The girl did not like these infinitely long stairs. The topic of the day was the Sun. Rhea opened her notes, started writing down everything that the professor told her about the Sun, because all of it could be useful when taking the exam at the end. This year too, she wanted to be good, she hoped, and this time too. At the end of the lesson she had written down about two pages about the topic of the day, the Sun, and of course she did not forget to draw a small sun so that it would be clear what the topic was about. When they could be free, Rhea packed her things in her bag, said goodbye to the professor, then left the classroom with a heavy sigh, as there was another long climb down the stairs.

Lesson 3

Rhea felt like time was flying by, because it was already her third astronomy lesson. This time she climbed the stairs quickly enough and settled into the classroom. She didn't have to wait long for the professor to start the lesson. The topic for the day was a continuation of the Sun, but mainly about the four planets Mercury, Venus, Earth and Mars. She wrote down what was being said about each one, so that it would be easier to study later. This time she managed to write down about three pages and of course she didn't forget to make small sketches so that she knew what was what. As soon as the lesson ended, Rhea said goodbye, then left the classroom. Knowing that she would return in a week to learn something new.

Lesson 4
Rhea went to the fourth astronomy lesson. She went to the lesson with great interest, because she couldn't wait to see what new things she would learn this time. Having settled in the classroom, the girl took out her notes, then waited for the lesson to begin, she had to wait a long time for the professor to begin the lesson. The topic of the day was a continuation of the Sun and a continuation of the planets Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto. She wrote down everything that was being told, this time she had to write down several pages and of course she didn't forget to make sketches of the planets so that she knew what was what. As soon as the lesson ended, Rhea said goodbye, then left the classroom. To return and know what would follow.

Lesson 5
There was also the last astronomy lesson before. Rhea, like other times, settled in the classroom, waiting for the lesson to begin. This time too, she didn't have to wait long for the professor to begin the lesson. Today's topic was asteroids. She tried to write down everything the professor said, but today it seemed that her fingers were made of stone and writing down was more difficult, but of course everything was written down. As soon as the lesson ended, Rhea put her things in her bag, said goodbye and left the classroom.
