Eurydice had been looking forward to Astronomy. Well, she wasn't really looking forward to the night lectures but more about the chance to look at the night sky. While she hated the outdoors, she didn't really mind stargazing or watching the moon. And Astronomy was going to have that. It was the closest since the classes she had been looking forward to were apparently electives. She took a seat near Jonah who was obviously dead on his feet, making her giggle. As the professor talked about wizards like Copernicus, she couldn't help but let her mind wander a little. Which she thought was fine since she wasn't here for the lecture anyway. She was disappointed when the class ended without them going to look at the stars and she hoped that it was going to be something they would do in the next class.

As soon as the Professor said that they would be stargazing outside, Eurydice was already trying not to jump in her seat in excitement. She'd seen the night sky from the dorms of course, but seeing it outside would be different. She'd never really ventured out of the castle in the dark, didn't even cross her mind until now. Maybe she'd consider going out at some point just to stargaze. As soon as they were due to leave, Eurydice eagerly gathered her things, following the class out of the room. At a spur of the moment decision, she decided to walk with @William Potter-Cade, her hand on his arm as she asked him about his day since they really only have this class together. She was practically skipping as they walked, excitement running through her as she told him that stargazing was one of the things she would do with her mum and she was hoping that she'd be able to see her favourite constellations tonight. When they arrived near the cliffs, she sat on the grass, for once without complaint as she gazed at the stars. It was a little disappointing when she realized that the sky here was different from England so she couldn't see Cassiopeia or Andromeda. Either way, the sky was very pretty, and it was interesting enough to see more constellations that she wasn't used to seeing. Maybe next time, she'd sneak out of the castle at night just to do this.

Eurydice walked into Professor Zumwalt's classroom, hoping that they would have a lesson as exciting as the last. As she took her seat and listened to the professor introduce their new lesson, she grew curious. Apprehensive but curious. How were they going to see stars if they were staying indoors after all? She leaned back, gazing up as the night sky appeared above them, a soft gasp escaping her. The constellation Lyra was familiar as she frequently saw it in the night sky back home. When the stars moved, Eury followed the journey of Vega, then Pegasus. She wondered if she'd be able to catch sight of the constellation on an excursion outside of the castle but that was something to be pondered another day. As the class ended, she sighed and pulled her sleepy cousin out of the classroom and back to the dorm.​
