Answers are on the bookselves...or maybe not

Minoas was feeling exhausted, mostly mentally exhausted. He just nodded when the professor apologized for not being of much help. He was intending to pick up his stuff from the floor and packed them in his backpack before saying goodnight to both of them and head straigh to Gryffindors common room. Elbio's voice came out of nowhere. He had spent too much time silent that Minoas had almost forgotten his presence with his attention attached on professor's vision. Elbio seemed like he had figured out something that Minoas was missing. Elbio eventually talked about a festival, claiming that it was matching the description of the one in Professor Le Fey's vision. Suddenly, Minoas could feel the confidence Elbio was radiating about his statement. It was like a hand pulling him out of the obscurity of his surrended. There was a time and a place to give up but it wasn't this one. Then the reference of Wagga Wagga reminded him of his sister Briar. Was she living there as well? That could be finally a positive sign. Both Professor Le Fey and Elbio seemed aware of this festival but Minoas had never heard of it before.

He took the scroll case in his hands and thousand thoughts crammed in his head. Profssor's vision wasn't irrelevant with the scroll case she was holding at that time. There was definately a connection between the scroll case and that festival of innovative magic, perhaps this was the first piece of the puzzle he had to put together. There was also that man that a professor saw in her vision.
"What about that man the professor mentioned. Who could he be?" he asked Elbio who looked like he knew more about the festival. Maybe the description was matching to an organizer of the festival or some other agent. He didn't tell to the others but it seemed to him that probably this man could know more about the scroll case and that was what the vision was pointing to. The professor asked again for the scroll case. This time Minoas gave it to her eagerly expecting her to have another vision that could give him additional, much wanted information.

Elbio couldn't answer Minoas' question when the festival was gathering thousands of people each year. As far as he was concerned, the man in professor's vision could be anyone.
"I don't know mate. He could be anyone. Perhaps the owner of the scroll case or just someone closely related to it." he made an assumption, more convinced that the scroll case wasn't really a true possession of Minoas or of his father's. He searched his own backpack for something. "Here." he said and gave to Minoas a brochure of the upcoming festival taking place at Wagga Wagga, Australia.
"It's gonna take place in a few weeks, during our school break. I'm used to go every year and I'm planning to go this time as well, at least watch the award ceremonies" he stated. He was planning to attend the fair this year even without his brother who was busy with his work. The problem was that underage wizards and witches weren't allowed to attend without the custody of an adult. This was going to be an issue he had to deal with eventually. Elbio really wanted to ask Minoas why all of this was of such great importance. Was he just curious to find out what was the background story of that artefact or it was something more? He was going to ask later as the professor took the scroll case in her hands to possibly get another vision.

Elvera took the scroll that minoas said she could have another look at it. she took it in her hand her guard already up strong. she looked at the symbol on it. it was an interesting one that she hadn't seen before. parts of it she could almost say looked celtic, or tibetan, but she couldn't place it and there did seem to be writing around it but she couldn't read it, and wouldn't even try in such dim light it was rather small writing. she then let it in slowly. the vision that was pushing itself in.
she was by a fence, looking over a shoulder of someone. in front of her was a flash of lights, from a red and a silvery blue, the red lights were like lightening, the blue were softer more smoke like though they still seemed to reach across just as fast they felt slower. backwards and forwards the light went people were cheering booing like it was some sport. she tried to move her focus and with a little effort was able to, she wanted to look for a stall and see if she was in time to put in a application for a stall. what felt like a few minutes but was really only a second or two later she saw it. she was at a stall selling the same things as the eye it was fairly busy. and next to her behind the stall was a blonde girl. Elvera couldn't see her face, and wasn't sure who it was, maybe Lilith though that was unlikely, Sabrina her friend, possibly, Maya, potentially, or someone else, could be. she didn't know, but she had seen what she had wanted to see.
she pulled herself back and handed the case back to the boy. "thank you for that" she said then knowing that he would ask what she saw she said "there were lights, red against blue. and a lot of people." she said. not mentioning the stall as there was no relevance to that other than her own interest. she guessed the boys had spoken when she couldn't hear them as now there was another pice of paper out in minoas's hand. that hadn't been there before a flier for the fair. just one look at it and she nodded. "that was the same picture i saw first time." she said. just then she heard clock strike two. "maybe you two should be heading to bed soon. i don't see you working any more on your runes tonight and you can continue your conversation in the morning. if you let me borrow a peice of parchment and some ink I can write you a note so you won't bet in trouble heading back to your dorm" she said. taking a spare quill out of her pocket.

Minoas started feeling so ignorant for not knowing the particular festival. Elbio had no idea who could have been starring in Professor Le Fey's vision but he gave to Minoas a flier, confirming the existance of the festival. Minoas read the title of golden letters at the top of it and his gaze slowly lowered to random people dueling, stirring cauldrons, taming creatures with the background of tends and small shops. It looked like a fun event to attend and that wasn't really matching the whole situation with the scroll case. He had misfitting pieces of puzzle in his hands but he could feel that in some way they could be connected.

He looked curiously the professor having another vision. He could imagine images flashing right behing her shut eyelids. She was under the influence of her vision just for a minute or so but it felt like ages. When she reopened her eerie eyes, she talked about lights of red and blue color and people. Minoas wasn't sure what they were representing but he was keeping mental notes. Perhaps later he could make some sense out of them. The professor also recognized the pictures on the flier Minoas was holding. They must have been familiar to her and she mentioned they were the kind of images that had crammed in her first vision. Minoas looked at the different people engaging in different activities on the flier and wondered if the man the professor had seen was among them. He didn't bother to ask when the professor hadn't mentioned seeing his face. Besides, the people on this sheet of paper could be models to advertise the festival and completely irrelevant with it.

Minoas really wanted to talk with Elbio in private. He felt that Professor Le Fey had provided the full extend of her assistance tonight but his slytherin friend had more. "You're right professor." he said and glanced at his watch. It was indeed too late, he was probably going to sleep over his first class tomorrow morning. "If you don't mind us staying a little bit longer to collect our stuff and clean the mess." he said pointing on the floor where were scattered all his things falling off his toppled backpack. The table was also full of notes, ink bottles, quills and crumpled pieces of parchment. Minoas picked up from the floor a blank piece of parchment and provided the professor also with some of his ink and his eagle quill. "Yes please. We would appreciate that." he accepted her kind offer. Even if Professor Styx was going to find them wandering around corridors on their way to their common rooms, they were going to have a strong excuse. He waited for the professor to finish her note and thank her.

Elbio's anticipation about the festival grew even more inside him than it had been the past couple of weeks. Watching at the brochure he had provided Minoas, he couldn't help but wonder who would be the new duelist champion for this year, what new potions and spells would present the Innovators and of course his favourite part of the whole fair. The photo gallery of magical creatures, where wizards and witches from all over the world were presenting their close-ups of dangerous creatures from all around the world. Elbio really wanted to take part of this competition when he was going to turn seventeen and would be an adult. He didn't pay much attention at the professor who was having a second vision while he was thinking of this. Unfortunately, the festival was lasting for a week and he was only able to attend for a day. And that, only if his brother Leonzio was going to take a day off his auror duties.

He wondered if the vision of seers were that abstract like those the professor was getting. It made him wonder whether seers were getting sudden visions about their own futures, imagining how bad would be to foresee your own death. Regardless of the new information the professor added to her previous vision, Elbio was more interested in why Minoas was looking so depended, or maybe even addicted to the scroll case and why this object was pointing to the Festival of Innovative Magic. He could tell there was more to this but his friend was unable to share in front of a professor. Unfortunately, they were ordered to return to their common rooms and the professor offered to give them permission that would excuse them in case they were caught by another professor on their way.
"Could I have one as well? We're not in the same house and our common rooms are in a completely different direction." he requested as well one as Minoas provided her with the appropriate gear. He glanced at Minoas. He could tell that they both were thinking of scheming more but the professor wasn't going to let them stay around.

minoas asked for a few more minutes to pick up the stuff that had spilled out of his bag when it had spilled. though she kew that it was more to talk. she could always have cleaned it up with her wand. but she was sure thy would have found some way to continue talking. "professor Davershire would have my skin if i left you here at night. I've done far more than i should already, be thankful it wasnt professor Styx who had decided to come to the library tonight." she said. though an idea was forming in her head. she took the quill she had been given and wrote a note
note said:
Mr stratis has been working with me in the library, and we lot track of time. I give him permission to be out of his dorm until 2:15am on the morning of
she wrote the date then signed it. and wrote one the same for mr Aiello with his name on it. she then got up "you boys have five minutes to tidy up when i look up what i came here for. then I want you to go directly to your dorms and not leave until morning" she said. heading between the shelves trying to find the books she wanted. the thing she had seen in her sleep though the memory was foggy after all the excitement about the fair. but she would gave them the time anyway. instead she went to the other side of the library and spent around five minutes reading about wendalin the weird though she couldn't see the clock from here.

"Fair enough professor. Thank you." said Minoas as he watched her writing down the notes. She was right, things could have been worse if Professor Styx or Professor Kingsley had busted them there. They were really lucky that Professor Le Fey was so tolerant with students. For some reason he had the impression that the professor was letting them talk for a little more when she left and disappeared behind the bookcases. Essentially, she could have packed everything lying on the floor with a flick of her wand but instead offered them five more minutes. He pocketed his own note and started gathering the things he had spilled on the floor, throwing them awkwardly in his backpack.
"So, how we will get to that festival." he kept his voice as low as possible in case the professor was eavesdropping from behind the bookcases. He might have lost hope several times but now he had grown new wings and was ready to fly. He had no idea what exactly was connecting a festival with the scroll case but he was determined to find out. Maybe there he could find someone that could help. From what he had understood the festival was attracting people from all over the world, meaning knowledge from all over the world. For the first time in his life, he was going to trust the vogue vision of a seer when he used laugh at and joke about divination stuff. It was worth the try, plus the specific festival was sounding like fun.

Elbio thanked the professor with a smile as she handed to him his note although he probably wasn't going to need it as he was intending to use the shortcuts the portraits were hiding behind them, to reach the dungeons by avoiding the corridors. He watched as the professor left them alone to tidy up the place and started helping Minoas gather his things. He paused as he was picking up a textbook from the floor. Minoas' question triggered a conspiratorial smile on Elbio's lips. He had no idea what his gryffindor friend had in mind but he was more than eager to go with it.
"I have no idea what is going on with you and this scroll case," he began saying pointing at the scroll case on the table.
"but I'm guessing it is something important for you, so I can get you a pass as well." he said, gladly he hadn't ordered yet his own so he was going to do that tomorrow for both of them.
"You'll have a hell of explaining to do when we get there. I suppose you'll be looking something there for this thing and I could help you if you fill me in." he said what he had figured out on his own. He was placing the stuff he had collected in Minoas' bag when he remembered the tiny detail that could be proved an obstacle for their plans.

"We have a small problem though. We need an adult to escort us. Underage wizards and witches are not allowed to enter the festival without the custody of a grown up. Let alone the fact that we can't apparate to Wagga Wagga in Australia." he said with a frown. Except for his older brother, he had no one else in mind that could take them there.
"My brother is a buzz killer. It would be hard to persuade him and take us there when he's so obsessed with his work. It's a shame I don't have someone else to help us." he said, trying to find a plan B. Traveling on their own would be too risky and his brother was probably going to kill him if Elbio decided to do that without teling him so.

Minoas was expecting that Elbio would ask for details of what was going on. Out of nowhere, he had shown particular interest about the festival from the moment it showed up in professor's vision. His need to know was reasonable but Minoas wasn't feeling like talking about the whole situation with his father and the way this scroll case ended up in his hands. He was appreciating Elbio's offer for assistance. He was sure going to need it. He seemed like he had been in past festivals so he would know the whereabouts and a few more things that Minoas was obviously ignoring. Elbio had no obligation to help him in the first place. It was going to be a blind trip if it was going to take place in the end and Minoas felt it would be fair for Elbio to know the whole story. "Thank you." he meant the words he breathed when Elbio said he was going to purchase a pass for him as well. "I promise I'll tell you what's going on when there's enough time." he added. Even if he wanted, he couldn't do it at that moment. It was going to take some time explaining and the five minutes the professor had given them weren't enough.

Now that everything on the floor was back in his backpack, he started packing what on the table. He paused momentarily when Elbio referred to what seemed to be a problem to their visit to the festival. He finished packing letting only the scroll case out that he took into his hands. For some reason he was feeling better when he was holding it. Even when he had it in his backpack, costant thoughts of losing it or accidentally slipping off his back or get stolen were popping in his head. "That wouldn't be a problem." he replied subtly wearing his own conspiratoral smile when Elbio told him that his brother, the adult they could have as an escort, wasn't available.
"I have someone in mind." he said with a dim smirk, liking the idea more and more as he was processing it.
"Don't worry about it. I have a very good friend that could help us. Just make sure you order three passes. We can talk about the rest tomorrow or the following days." he concluded quickly as he heard professor's footsteps growing louder as she was returning back.

Elvera guessed about five minutes had passed and the general mumble of the boys voices had come to a natural pause. she put the book back on the shelf and made her way over to where the boys were sitting. "times up boys" she said waving her wand. any last items left from the bag packed themselves away and another wave sent the library books away onto the shelf.
"you had better be off to your dorms now. and i don't want to catch any inkling that you aren't then i will report you to your head of house. and I will be watching" she said. she didn't like being strict. but she thought that was pretty fair. she could have reported them to the head of houses as soon as she saw them. she liked to give people the chance. she started to make her way towards the exit. "sleep well" she said as she reached the door. and watched as the boys headed in the opposite directions. one towards the dungeons and one up to the seventh floor. when they were bot out of sight she headed up to her tower hoping to get the rest of the night of decent sleep. as she was teaching in the morning then had Padme to look after in the afternoon o give Lilith and praneil an afternoon and evening out together. looking after the baby was far more work than it looked but she wouldn't swap it for anything she loved her two nieces.
