Andy smiled at him.
"Well good luck with your studies then. I'll see you Jaken" she turned away herself to walk across the lawn. It had been an interesting meeting that was for sure, never in her wildest dreams had she ever even considered that he might ask her to the yule ball. And even more so she had never thought she would attend this year without Bruin. She lifted the bear pendant up and looked at it dangling from her wrist.
Maybe she should take it off, maybe she should start moving on. Clearly now the promise she had made to herself after their duel to make him realise that she was his was clearly redundant. They hadn't seen or spoken to each other since then, he had avoided her like the plague. Andy sighed and looked about her, lowering her hand and stuffing it into her pocket. She couldn't take it off just yet, part of her still hoped it had meant something and anothere part of herself thought she was merely delluding herself. Time would tell and that's all she knew she had for sure. Time.
