Even though her parents had given her permission to leave the grounds during Brightstone weekends, Alana rarely took advantage of the privilege. She didn't have many friends, so going to Brightstone didn't bring her the same excitement that it did to others. So, it was pretty surprising to her when she set out along with a large group of students towards the small wizarding village. Her parents never sent her any pocket change, so she only had what she had received for her birthday. It was an embarrassingly small amount, but she carried it as if it was a fortune, eager to spend it on her favorite treat. Spending a portion of her sickles on licorice wands, Alana spent the remainder of her time wandering Brightstone. She was content to be alone, enjoying her candy and the weather. And there was certainly enough to keep her entertained. Without the professors around to keep them in line, students ran around shouting and chasing each other. Alana narrowly missed being crashed into several times.

Several hours later, Alana waited on a bench just inside the castle, eying the doors. The sun was beginning to set and she knew that the last of the students would be arriving soon to avoid missing supper. Alana's stomach growled as she took in the smells of what was sure to be a great meal, but as the students poured into the Great Hall, the Slytherin made no moves towards the large room. Her expression was stony, her red eyes quickly scanning each student before they moved on to the next. It was obvious that she was looking for someone in particular. The Slytherin girl couldn't believe how quickly her mood had changed from when she had first set out from the castle. But change it had. Her leg bobbed up and down anxiously as she bit on one of her fingernails. It was nearly to the nub so she switched to another, barely noticing what she was doing. The blonde stood up quickly, spotting someone. But, she sat again. She'd been mistaken

Scarlet had pretty much enjoyed the Brightstone weekend this time. She normally didn't go out of the castle very often when she was in New Zealand but this time had been different as she had to meet up with a friend of hers. Chaos Zhefarovich. The redhead had to admit though that her little outing for the day had been a little eventful. The day started of pretty much with her mistaking the days which caused her to be dressed in her school uniform and robes. When she realized her mistake, she had already arrived at an empty classroom and had to resist to bang her head against the wall as she remembered that she was supposed to meet the former Hufflepuff today. Because of this, she had to run back to the dorms to dropped off her bag and took off her robes, though deemed herself at the very least presentable in her uniform seeing as she was already going to be late. And she was, though that was probably because she had to stop and reprimand some students from talking badly about her friend, again. Her meeting with Chaos wasn't any less eventful either, with a student suddenly approaching them which had gotten a little out of hand, though a quick fix of treats had gotten her into a positive mood easily. All in all, the day had been half-disastrous, half-amazing.

As it was time to go back to the castle, Scarlet, a bag of candy in her hands, walked slowly towards the doors. In all honesty, she would really rather not go back to the castle for a while. While her day had only been half-disastrous, she couldn't say the same for any other day within the school. After all, while being friends with Chaos was a hard task in itself because it was Chaos involved, it was now a much harder task considering what he did and how she was standing up for him. She didn't deny what he did, but it didn't change the fact that in her eyes, he was not completely at fault either, nor was he a completely evil person as most people talked about him. She was only one against many others after all. With a sigh, the redhead trudged the last of the steps towards the castle and entered just before the sun had set. She wasn't the only one who wished to stay out it seemed, but there was no use on dwelling on it any further. Taking a gummy bear out of her candy bag and munching on it, she began to walk towards the Great Hall, unbeknownst of what could happen before she could even reach the corridors leading to it.

When she hopped up this time, Alana knew that she wasn't mistaken. She weaved between a group of seventh years who were loudly talking about who they had seen snogging in Brightstone and stepped right into the fifth year's path. Sure, Alana was introverted and generally avoided conflict, but seeing Scarlet with Chaos in Brightstone as though nothing had happened, as though he hadn't tried to kill someone had infuriated her. The teenager had been chewing on her last piece of licorice, which had suddenly tasted like rubber in her mouth as she watched the two walk towards Honeydukes as if they were just a normal couple enjoying the day, and not an idiot and a crazy person. Which one was which was hard to tell.

The teenager's red eyes flashed angrily as she crossed her arms under her chest. Alana didn't bother with a greeting. She and Scarlet weren't friends. They'd only met this year, that one time that Alana had tried to say something nice to the girl after learning that some guy was talking badly about her. It'd resulted in her being told something horribly embarrassing. Their second encounter had come shortly after Alana had been injured by none other than Chaos. Try as she might have to avoid Chaos this year, she had failed miserably. And where he had been, this girl seemed to be. Alana's eyes narrowed. "How can you hang out with him? Don't you know what he's done?" Alana started in a tone that made it clear that she was judging the girl. She wasn't speaking loudly, wanting this conversation to be a private one.

Scarlet had her own reasons for not wanting to go back in to the castle as soon as she and Chaos parted ways for the day. There was Jakobe, Giuliano and Justin. Then there was the rumors surrounding both her and Chaos which was slightly more stressful to handle. Rumors surrounding her, she didn't particularly care much even if they did tend to be hurtful a couple of times. She made no move to approach them for those even though she knew it would earn her a good hit on the head from Chaos. He was teaching her to stand up for herself, so she wouldn't be defenseless against those who deemed her as weak and worthless. But she had gotten so used to hearing things about herself that she just didn't care anymore, though that didn't make the pain any less. However, one word against Chaos was all it took for her to reprimand others of what they were doing. They can talk all they want about her because she was there to defend herself if she wanted to, but Chaos wasn't. He was already out of the school and they couldn't move on or see past what they had heard about him. It irritated her and paved more way for rumors about her. And probably the largest reason were those who attempt to confront her about Chaos. About her friendship with Chaos. And of course, today had to be a day of confrontations.

Scarlet did not expect the sudden appearance of the girl in front of her as she munched on her gummy bears. The redhead recognized her from the two times that their paths had collided. She was a grumpy person, that much the Hufflepuff knew though she was yet to figure out anything else aside from her house and the fact that she was younger than her. Probably. "Gummy bears?" the redhead offered with curiosity, holding out the candy bag to the blonde. Scarlet didn't understand why the girl was practically scowling at her since she was pretty sure she had not done anything to the girl yet nor in the past weeks that she had seen her on the fourth floor or the cliffs. All of it was suddenly madr clear though when the Slytherin parted her lips to speak. It was apparently about Chaos. Again. The Hufflepuff's soft features had suddenly hardened as she stared at the girl in front of her, her lips pursed into a thin line, her expression serious, her stance rigid and stiff. And there was a certain coldness in her eyes that had been taught to her by Chaos earlier. She was not mad, but she was fairly irritated. "Why can't anyone move on in this place?" she groaned in frustration. And it was true. Chaos was out of the school, Logan was alive, his friends were now bodyguards and she had no more friends in the school. And they still can't let the issue go! "He has a name. And Chaos and I can hang out with each other because we are friends. First, expelled. Next, rumors. And now, he can't be normal?" she said, her eyebrow rising in challenge at the girl. Seriously, what was wrong with these people? And she used to admire a great majority since she thought a lot of people in Hogwarts were smart. Apparently, it was the opposite.

In other circumstances, Alana might have had a good chuckle at the transformation that took over Scarlet's face. Her features hardened in irritation. Not that Alana cared. She was irritated as well, annoyed that this girl just didn't seem to get it. Slapping the gummy worms would probably have been satisfying, but Alana wasn't out to hurt the girl. She was out to make her get through her thick skull that Chaos was not someone that anyone sane should be friends with. By the time Scarlet finished, Alana couldn't hold back a laugh. It was sarcastic and bitter. "Normal? Did you really just use that word in the same sentence as his name?" the girl's red eyes had widened at the use of that word. There was nothing normal about Chaos. Normal people didn't hurt people for fun.

"I don't have to listen to rumors. I saw what he did to that Ravenclaw boy and I saw what he did to the Gryffindor. With my own eyes." Alana knew Chaos' name, of course. But now she was going to refuse to say it because she saw how much it annoyed the girl. She couldn't believe that the girl was defending him. "You're just as crazy as he is if you think you're friends with him. I don't think he's capable of having real friends."

Scarlet couldn't help but roll her eyes at the girl in front of her as she took back her gummy treats. She was pretty sure that she had made herself pretty clear despite her French accent lingering within her tone. She didn't stutter, nor did she falter with her words, but then this girl seemed to be still incapable of understanding. Or hearing. "No, I didn't," the Hufflepuff sneered as she took a bite out of her treat and shrugged at the girl, her eyes glinting with slight amusement. "Wow. I didn't know you were deaf. Maybe you should pay more attention to cleaning your ears than going around confronting people like this," the redhead said with a shrug before taking note of the time said on her watch. She still had time before dinner, apparently and this girl seemed to be keen on taking all of it. However, it was quite surprising to her that the younger claimed to have witnessed what went down with Chaos and Logan. Though which Ravenclaw boy she was talking about was unbeknownst to her. "You did? Well, that's nice. Congratulations, now we know that you aren't as blind as you're deaf," the older said as she tried to clap her hands despite one of her hands holding her bag of treats.

"Really? Then do explain what your ideal so-called friends are?" Scarlet challenged with a raised eyebrow. She was getting tired of people telling her, asking her, how the hell did she become friends with Chaos Zhefarovich and if they were really friends. Truth be told, she wasn't sure if it was a mutual friendship they held but at the very least Chaos seemed to at least find her tolerable and that was good enough for her. Even more so since he had taken it upon himself to teach her to stand up for herself. If they weren't friends, then whatever they were was good enough for her, whatever he may call it. "Honestly, you're probably the one incapable of making friends with him just because you're looking for some kind of either Prince Charming or Dora the Explorer that are heads over heels with sparkles and kindness," the Huflepuf said with a shrug, remembering those shows that the kids from her former muggle school loved so much. They were too unrealistic, the real world was filled with pain and betrayal that just because they were nice to you for a year, they were really wanted to be your friend. She may have considered Chaos as her friend and wanted to continue being such, however, she knew that an end was inevitable as well. "Wake up, they don't exist. And just because you're not friends with him doesn't mean his incapable," Scarlet said as she took another gummy bear and savored it. They really were tasty treats. She'd have to remember to thank Chaos again for them later. It was at least making dealing with stupidity narrow-mindedness a little more bearable.

Alana's eyes narrowed. She didn't like the way this Hufflepuff was talking to her. Standing up straighter, Alana's hands went to her hips. It was the only thing keeping her from slapping Scarlet. Alana had never hung out with her before, but now she could see why that other guy, that Jakobe guy had talked about her at the beginning of the semester. "You're such a" she stated, finishing the sentence off by calling Scarlet something she'd never called anyone before. Alana had to admit that it felt pretty good to call her that and hoped it would wipe the stupid look off of her face. She doubted it would though. Scarlet was obviously not the brightest of people, not if she really believed that her and Chaos were friends.

The Slytherin didn't even know what Scarlet was talking about. She had no idea who Dora was. "You're not even making sense. Is that some muggle thing? I bet you don't mention that sort of thing in front of your friend" she made air quotes with her fingers. She was willing to bet galleons that Scarlet had never mentioned anything like this in front of Chaos. "I don't even want to be friends with him. I don't want to be anything to him" she shrieked, her voice rising in pitch. Alana was about to stomp away when a realization hit her. She calmed down instantly. Maybe the two Hufflepuffs being friends wasn't such a bad thing. "You know what? Be friends with him. I hope the two of you become so friendly that you get married or something. Then, I won't have to do it. It's not like anyone else in the school wants to have anything to do with you so you might as well take what you can get" Alana smirked as she began to walk away, getting close enough to bump Scarlet's shoulder as she passed her. She hoped she knocked that stupid bag of candy out of her hand.

Scarlet watched as the younger's expression turned into a more serious one. An angrier one perhaps. But she couldn't care less because this girl was infuriating her as well. And then words flew out of the Slytherin's mouth that the Hufflepuff didn't at all expect. She probably should have expected such words or worse but she hadn't, and so the sudden surge of pain and anger was unexpected. Pain at the memory of Jakobe's words and anger at the girl for making her remember. If Emily had been annoying, this girl was downright insufferable. Without thinking, Scarlet's free hand flew out to slap the female. She didn't care if it would land or not but she was angry at the younger girl.

Scarlet merely shrugged at the girl's accusation. This was exactly why Chaos just taught her cold eyes and punching. Her insults held no weight and he was yet to fully teach her. Besides, her blood status wasn't exactly a secret. They both knew she wasn't of pure blood like he is. "Yeah right. And yet here you are confronting me about him. You obviously want nothing to do with him," she said with amusement. She didn't need to give a response to the Slytherin as she wanted to walk away. The Hufflepuff was all glad for this to be over with. As she was to take another gummy bear from her bag though, the younger had bumped into her and caused her bag of treats to drop and its contents to scatter on the floor. As soon as it had happened more anger flooded her veins and before she knew it, she had made a grab for the Slytherin to turn her around and face the punch that Scarlet very so wanted to land. Chaos gave her those treats and nobody messes with the treats.

Around the Great Hall, Havoc Zhefarovich sat, eating his dinner late to endure the peace that remained, which would be inevitably interrupted. He had not met with his other half today, but would later this weekend. Until the hearing came through and the results may limit their contact. However, he heard something, which caused him to abandon his plate, and walk out of the Great Hall, only toward the entrance hall which he saw two females. One he knew as Alana Finch. The other, he knew of her. Scarlet. Chaos' little friend. Havoc never knew that Chaos could even make a friend. That made her a possible asset to assist in helping control Chaos' attitude. Or really mess up the Hufflepuff. Either way, the two were fighting over something, and Havoc knew that he should not intervene, until he heard it was about his brother. Now, he had to come between them, especially when Alana spilled Scarlet's treats, and Scarlet went in to punch. Without hesitation, he rushed between them, with one arm to hold Alana back, and his hand catching Scarlet's fist. He uttered coolly, "You two need to knock it off." Havoc was in no mood to deal with people when it came down to his brother.

The Slytherin made a noise of outrage as she felt the Hufflepuff girl grab her arm and spin her around, her greater height givib her the advantage. Alana's face went from cringing as she saw the fist come toward her to shock as she saw a hand in front of her face, holding a fist meant for her face. Alana said nothing. Instead, she reacted immediately. The teen made to lunge at the girl, but the guy held her back easily. As he spoke, Alana finally looked at who was holding onto her. Havoc. Chaos' twin brother. Alana had once deemed him the 'nice' twin, though she had no idea if that was accurate or not. She just knew that he couldn't be worse than Chaos. Her red eyes stared at him for a moment, thinking of a nasty retort. "Whatever" Alana muttered as she pushed out of Havoc's grip. The teenager kicked the bag of candy as she began to stomp towards the Great Hall.

Scarlet snapped out from her angry fit as soon as her fist was caught. She was angry and she didn't think if the consequences of her actions. Perhaps Chaos would be a little proud of her as she had managed to channel her anger, she doubted though that he would appreciate her punching someone he knew, which this girl obviously was. The figure that had caught her fist was familiar though and yet not. She almost glared but she was met with a familiar face but she knew all too well it didn't belong to him. "I'm sorry," she whispered as she pulled back her fist and placed it on her side. The Hufflepuff made a move to pick up her bag of treats until the Slytherin kicked it away and the redhead could only flinch. "Sorry," she apologized to the boy again as she picked up the bag of treats and the gummy bears that now made a mess in the Entrance Hall. She needed to at least dispose of them properly if she was not going to eat them. They were such a waste and she would have to remember to owl and apologize to Chaos later on.

Havoc felt that the two girls was not going to fight him, and lowered his arms to ensure that it would not occur. And, as he predicted, the Hufflepuff apologized and went to pick up the bag of treats in the floor, and Alana stomped off. Knowing that this should not happen again, as Havoc loathed it when people said these things about his brother. And he would make sure that they were not repeated if he could do something about it. He followed toward Alana, before swiftly catching up to her. "I'm not quite finished with you just yet, Alana Finch." His tone was something unfamiliar, had those spoke to him before. Havoc was normally, appearing to be quite sane, as opposed to his brother. But rather than being chaotic about their motives, Havoc was actually calculated, and planned out every single detail. He warned, "This talk about my twin ends, here and now, from you. Think what you will about him, but I don't want to hear anything else spilling from your tongue." As it would from others, when he was done with them. He couldn't stop their minds, but he could silence their mouths.

Alana had never really gotten to know Havoc before, though as he caught up to her she wondered why she'd ever thought there was a good twin between the two. His gaze looked every bit as harsh as Chaos' did. The teenager stood still, her jaw jutted out as Havoc spoke to her. The teen's face was flushed already and it flushed even more as Havoc scolded her. When he finished, Alana waited another moment and then turned to walk away. She had nothing to say to Havoc. She had no reason to talk about Chaos unless Scarlett chose to open her stupid mouth to defend him again.
