Open Always The Same Costume

Gregory had more or less one costume, he wore the same thing in previous years, it was just a good costume. It wasn't even really a costume, it was just a set of wings, and that was enough. He walked into the great hall, wearing the wings and basically his normal clothes but was immediately worried that something was going to happen. He tended to not have a great time in the celebrations and given how Cassius was with him once again, he was sure that something bad would happen, so he was trying his best to hide in the shadows and stay out of the way.

Thistle loved Halloween, any excuse to dress up and be silly was a good day in her book. This year she'd donned a trenchcoat and brought a selection of magnifying glasses, determined to get to the bottom of some kind of Halloween mystery. She wasn't sure exactly what it was, yet, but she would solve it without question. Looking around the room she ignored the attractions and the dance floor, looking for what was going on out of the limelight. After a while she spotted one of her classmates hidden in a corner, curiosity instantly piqued. She made a beeline for him, magnifying glass raised. "Aha! I've solved the case of The Hidden Gregory!" She said triumphantly. "Another victory for Detective Carnahan."

Gregory was managing to keep mostly to himself, staying out of the way and knocking over only a small amount of items. It lasted longer than he had ever known it to before he was spotted by someone who wanted to chat. Gregory glanced at the girl, Thistle or something else like that. "I'm not hidden," he replied, somewhat weakly, not sure what else to say or do in this situation.
