The great hall was full of students having their breakfast, most were in groups, friends catching up with each other, mostly gossiping or doing groups studies, while some preferred to be on their own, relishing their me-time. Armin Nightray didn't belong to either. He did not belong to a group, though this was mostly his choice. He was not in the mood to participate in any group conversations at the moment. That, however, did not mean that he was enjoying his me-time. In fact, he was hardly having any fun. Poking the broccoli with his fork, the Gryffindor surveyed his surroundings. He hadn't seen his brother since the morning, usually, they would meet up before they had to separate ways and eat on their respective tables. Not that they were any stickler for the rules, but Armin didn't really like the Slytherins much and Rivaille didn't like Gryffindors much too. This time, however, he was ready to let go of that dislike and sit with his twin only if he could spot him. To his annoyance, not even the shadow of the Slytherin could be found. Pushing his plate away from him, the Gryffindor decided to look for the next person that he would rather spend his day with, his cousin, Ariadne. Ariadne had to be in the Ravenclaw table, probably with her nose buried in a book, or talking with that weird friend that she had.
Much to his chagrin, however, even his cousin was not to be found. Groaning, he folded his arms across his chest. Seriously, what was it with people disappearing this day? He took a bath earlier so he was sure that he didn't smell. He hadn't really pulled a prank on his cousin nor his twin lately so they had no reason to avoid him, and no, he was not planning to pester them into helping him do his homework. He just honestly wanted to spend some time with them. Though alright, he was hoping to pull them into one of his schemes too. But that was beside the point. He just wanted to hang out with them yet they were not around. Pouting childishly, sat himself on the Ravenclaw table, not really caring about the looks that he was getting or about the reaction of the student next to him, after all, he just unceremoniously plopped himself next to her and rested his elbow right next to her plate. "Stupid Riv, stupid Aria, this is boring." He grumbled, glaring at the table at the thought of his brother and his cousin having fun although the truth was, that was highly unlikely. That didn't matter though, for at the moment, he was too annoyed at being left behind to think clearly and be reasonable.
