The great hall was full of students having their breakfast, most were in groups, friends catching up with each other, mostly gossiping or doing groups studies, while some preferred to be on their own, relishing their me-time. Armin Nightray didn't belong to either. He did not belong to a group, though this was mostly his choice. He was not in the mood to participate in any group conversations at the moment. That, however, did not mean that he was enjoying his me-time. In fact, he was hardly having any fun. Poking the broccoli with his fork, the Gryffindor surveyed his surroundings. He hadn't seen his brother since the morning, usually, they would meet up before they had to separate ways and eat on their respective tables. Not that they were any stickler for the rules, but Armin didn't really like the Slytherins much and Rivaille didn't like Gryffindors much too. This time, however, he was ready to let go of that dislike and sit with his twin only if he could spot him. To his annoyance, not even the shadow of the Slytherin could be found. Pushing his plate away from him, the Gryffindor decided to look for the next person that he would rather spend his day with, his cousin, Ariadne. Ariadne had to be in the Ravenclaw table, probably with her nose buried in a book, or talking with that weird friend that she had.

Much to his chagrin, however, even his cousin was not to be found. Groaning, he folded his arms across his chest. Seriously, what was it with people disappearing this day? He took a bath earlier so he was sure that he didn't smell. He hadn't really pulled a prank on his cousin nor his twin lately so they had no reason to avoid him, and no, he was not planning to pester them into helping him do his homework. He just honestly wanted to spend some time with them. Though alright, he was hoping to pull them into one of his schemes too. But that was beside the point. He just wanted to hang out with them yet they were not around. Pouting childishly, sat himself on the Ravenclaw table, not really caring about the looks that he was getting or about the reaction of the student next to him, after all, he just unceremoniously plopped himself next to her and rested his elbow right next to her plate. "Stupid Riv, stupid Aria, this is boring." He grumbled, glaring at the table at the thought of his brother and his cousin having fun although the truth was, that was highly unlikely. That didn't matter though, for at the moment, he was too annoyed at being left behind to think clearly and be reasonable.

Having a day ahead filled with classes, homework and most likely studying, the Ravenclaw second year sat herself down at Ravenclaw table, and helped herself to breakfast. She knew that today was going to be a long day just thinking about the homework she had piled up, and also remembering that she had promised her twin sister that they would spend time together today, since they were in different houses and had different duties to fill. So, sighing, she ate the breakfast before her quietly, watching as the morning light coming through the windows played tricks on the wall. Today was sunning, which made having to go to classes that little bit less exciting. Normally Hayden loved her classes and homework, simply loved learning things, but for some reason today it all just seemed so boring and unappealing. Hayden wanted something, anything, exciting to happen to her for once, instead of being the quiet and intelligent twin, she wanted to have fun. Looking over her shoulder, she let her eyes wonder, looking for Jaiden anywhere on Gryffindor table, and once Hayden spotted her sitting and laughing with a group of girls, she instantly turned back around. Jaiden was out of the picture for the moment, she could see, so she would have to think of someone else to help her with her wish for the day.

Turning back around, Hayden jumped slightly as her eyes narrowed in on a boy suddenly seated beside her, his chin propped on his hand in a frustrated manner, staring aimlessly at the table. Hayden had never seen him in Ravenclaw house before, so she knew he wasn't a Ravenclaw, and that left her wondering as to why he was sitting at her table, his elbow placed close next to her plate. Clearing her throat, she got his attention as he swung his head around to look at her. "Hi...Um, you do know this is Ravenclaw Table, right?" Her timid voice was louder and clearer than normal, which made her smile as she watched the boy. The boy looked nice, and he looked like he had fun, despite his obvious bad mood, and so Hayden thought she could use him to her advantage, and maybe even make a new friend.
