Rory was a proud boy, that much was obvious from the way he held himself, he was proud, demanding and had a heightened sense of his own importance, but this certainly wasn't proving to be of much use in school, he had met a few people whom he was sure would be willing to help him, who would he was sure be willing to give him the homework he wanted when he might need it, and he was slowly figuring out the little things he had to do for himself which he had never had to before, but it didn't stop his pride rearing it's head just so very often, and primarily his pride was hurt because of his sorting, he didn't want to be anything other than Hufflepuff and yet every morning he spent at this school he was going to have exit the slytherin common room, and this definitely didn't fill him with much joy he didn't want to be there but he just had to deal with it. The Slytherin boy was wandering around the school, he had attempted to put his uniform on, but he’d not yet managed the tie so instead he wore his own clothes.

He wasn't yet sure how he was going to do his tie but he figured when it came to it that surely he would be able to get one of the older students, or just one of the other boys in his dorm to do it. After all, Rory could do a bow tie, but his father had always done his ties when he had needed them. The young scot eventually found what he was looking for, a place to just be and spotted the trophy room, the kind of place where he could correctly figure out what other kids did to gain a more notorious way of being at the school. What awards were on offer and what kind of kids won them. Rory knew that during his time at this school he deserved to be on something like this at least once, but it wouldn't harm him to figure out which might be best suited to him. However, as Rory made his way around the room, he noticed the awards were for silly things, the only ones of note were the head boy/girl and prefects and given that Rory didn't want such a position from that he just had a frown on his face, "Am better than all of ye," he told the wall of names of he was facing.
