A Yellow Rose for You!

Lyra Potter had volunteered to deliver roses once again this year. She made her way to the Hufflepuff table to deliver her first one. She noticed Felix there and winked at him before seeking out her target. "Excuse me, Amber. I have a rose for you." she said brightly.

After receiving a rose from her close friend Evelyn, Amber returned to her lunch. She was busy wondering what she would do after, maybe go over Ancient Runes some more? Then she heard someone else call her name, and she smiled at the older girl. She got to her feet, hardly believing she was getting another rose. It was the fourth one! "Really?" She asked the older girl, who she thought she recognized from Gryffindor. "Thank you!" She didn't want to be impatient and ask for it, but she peered at the roses the girl still had, wondering which one was intended for her.

Lyra smiled at the younger girl who was clearly delighted. "Oh you're welcome! Happy to deliver it." she said as she handed the rose and the note to the Hufflepuff girl.

Amber took the yellow rose from the older Gryfindor and gave her a bright smile. Then she opened the note, and read it. She blushed a little, as she really hadn't expected a rose from Evelyn's brother. She hadn't sent one to him, and she felt bad about that. She folded it again, putting it in her pocket. She would go find him to thank him for this. "Good luck with your other deliveries." She told the girl with a smile.
