Svetlana Khamidouline, a teenager of high standards, walked along the path of Diagon Alley. Her eyes, blue with a small hint of violet in them, stared coldly down the road. She had her wand at her side, and wore purple robes that told of a story of their own. She felt someone bump into her, and her icy voice rang out like a bell, "Watch it, scum!" Rolling her eyes, she continued on her way, wrinkling her nose in disgust when she saw the owls and cats. The animal she preferred was the bat and crow.

She glided into an alley, and leaned against the wall, after casting the cleaning spell upon it too. Her dark brown hair flowed around her, giving her skin a natural glow. She had been stressed out over the schoolwork, and all the Durmstrang students coming to her about possibly joining the gang. She, of course, cast them away, more often in a harsh manner than not. Svetlana glanced at her left hand, seeing the ring that was given to her a couple of years ago. How she missed him, but she still was pissed off over him. He is probably dead now, so why even bother sparing a thought? He was the one that left.

Hayden was succesfully over Svetlana, or so he believed. After a few hours with Lemina Troque he was pleased to say that the apple of his eye had changed from cold and harsh to warm, nice and friendly. Although he really wouldn't say this to anyone at Durmstrang because he didn't want to be thought of as weak like Deitrich.

Some how between the few hours after he left Mina and New Zealand he appeared in Diagon Alley, he really didn't know how he got there, still too young to actually use magic outside of school, and he hadn't begun training for apparation yet, he assumed that he had gotten someone else to make a joint apparation to this side of the world.

After a few minutes of walking he came across a familiar figure, one he had previously ached for but restrained himself from actually showing this to Jaken or Svetlana herself, he smirked. He was over her natural beauty and cold, icy voice and her blue-ish, violet eyes. He smirked to himself and said in a cold demenor, "Hello Svetlana." The tone in his voice showed slight amusement in the fact that he had spoted her looking at the engagement ring Jaken had given her several years ago, the one he wore around his neck at this moment.

lame ^^

Svetlana turned her gaze to Hayden, and half hoped that it would have been Demitris or Dietrich, someone she needed to give a firm talk to about his "good" side. Svetlana wanted the gang to return to its former glory, when Jaken was in charge. She turned her body to him, and narrowed her eyes. She smirked slightly, "Hayden Kerberos." That was her type of greeting, just saying the name. She glanced down at her hand, and closed her eyes.

She slipped off the ring, and held it in her hand. She glanced up at him, "From a friend to a friend, living in the past, it shows weakness, does it not?" Svetlana hated seeing herself in such a weak state, even though it wasn't noticeable. She had no idea what to do with the jewelry and simply clinched it in her hand. Her eyes read no emotion. "For all I know, he could be dead." Her voice didn't falter, and her cruelness should be of no surprise to anyone in the gang. Although, her speaking of her ex like that wasn't exactly normal between the younger members.

"From a friend to a friend, living in the past, it shows weakness, does it not?"

Hayden pursed his lips in thought at Svetlana's words. "Yes," he said honestly. He simply was not the kind of person to sugarcoat something for anyone. If you called yourself fat, he was going to say "move aside fat ass!", he didn't find that lying to anyone was anything good for him, it only gave himself more stress and the other person reason to believe otherwise. Besides the truth amused him.

"For all I know, he could be dead."

Hayden exhaled deeply and shook his head. "Jaken is not dead," he said with some sting. Although he didn't feel anything for Svetlana he had before, and Jaken had up and left her and the group so he felt that he could feel a little bitter towards him. "He still wears it," he said in a small voice, though one that did not show any hope for them as a couple because Jaken had one: changed. Two: he was dating a head girl.

Svetlana nodded, "I thought so." She pocketed the ring, in her jeans under her robes. Her mind moved elsewhere, to something that was a bit more secret, something that was hidden even from Dietrich and the other members of the gang. Svetlana turned her statue-like face to Hayden, and narrowed her eyes, "He still wears it? You mean...you actually saw him." Her other hand clinched her wand, as her eyes flared.

Svetlana hissed, "I'll make sure that he gets whats coming to him, for just up and leaving me and the gang." Svetlana still deeply cared for Jaken, but however, it was beginning to be replaced by someone else, although who that person was, no one knew. Her and the boy she liked spent a lot of time together when she was left heartbroken. Both had admitted their feelings toward one and another, but she just wasn't ready for him.

"Not even Demitris is pleased with Jaken's actions. Hell, he isn't pleased with the gang itself. Look at what it has become!" Svetlana murmured, "We need to straighten out Dietrich from his fantasies with that girl of his." She let her eyes roll. Svetlana gazed onto the wall, although she was technically single, she allowed no boy to hit on her, no boy to even touch her. She was what others called 'forbidden'.

Demitris walked along the streets of Diagon Alley. He glanced to the side, and saw the girl that he had liked for the past year. Although, it was forbidden right now, in the group because of how much pain Jaken had caused them all. His green eyes landed on Hayden, and instantly, his blood began to boil. Demitris has successfully hidden that he hated that boy with all of his existence. Demitris knew that Hayden liked the 'challenging' girls, and by Merlin, Svetlana was a marathon of painful obstacles.

Demitris approached Svetlana and Hayden, and raised an eyebrow, "Afternoon, Hayden and Svetlana." He didn't smile, nor would he in the presence of anyone other than the four that reigned over the group itself. Demitris made sure that he was standing closer to Svetlana than Hayden, his cold eyes staring at Hayden. "I heard something about Dietrich and his fantasies." Although Demitris had his past with Dietrich, something he doesn't like to remember, he did not like it when anyone talked back about him. Well, since Svetlana was related to him, he felt like she had a right to.

"He still wears it? You mean...you actually saw him."

Hayden nodded his head lightly and said, "Yeah he does." He shrugged his shoulders and was about to say that he went to Hogwarts New Zealand but Demitris joined them. "Demitris Harrington," he said in a much colder tone then he had used to speak to Svetlana, mainly because of the way the boy spoke to him. Hayden had a hunch, that he didn't like him much because of Svetlana, but he really couldn't care less. It wasn't his problem.

"If I'm not mistaken that girl, attends the same school as Jaken," he smirked but shrugged it off, putting his hands in his pockets. Hayden bit down on his bottom lip, thoughts of Mina running through his mind, but hiding that as best as he could.

lame ^^

Svetlana's cold eyes remained the same when Demitris joined them. However, her heart was pounding faster. Svetlana greeted, "Hey, Demitris." Her greeting was different when it came to Demitris and Dietrich, for reasons that she never spoke of. Svetlana stared at Hayden, not liking the tone that he had given to Demitris. However, it went both ways. Demitris had told her about his hatred for Hayden. He was the only one in the group that didn't want him inside.

However, it was Svetlana's choice, and Jaken and Dietrich felt that she made a good enough choice. She placed some of her hair behind her ear, and narrowed her eyes, "You mean that Hogwarts school." A smirk played across her face, but turned into a genuine smile. She could hardly hold a smirk when Demitris was around. However, it was the same with Dietrich as well. "Jaken might still have room for us in his life. But if he doesn't, then it is his loss."

"However, that girl is causing Dietrich to lose focus. We have to step in, and as a part of my job, I guess I could do that very thing." She glanced at Demitris and Hayden, "Or else he might need to relinquish the leadership of our group to someone else." Svetlana had Demitris in mind, but she couldn't help but wonder what the two boys would say about it.

Demitris's eyes remained on Hayden for a short while, and glanced at Svetlana when she greeted him. Demitris nodded slightly, "Otherwise, he wouldn't have a reason to move to New Zealand, unless he would have been home-schooled." Demitris did not know much about Dietrich and his girl, though. He barely remembered her name. All he knew was that Dietrich often spent more time with her than anyone he had ever seen.

Demitris whispered, "Svetlana, Jaken isn't the type to lose his first friends. I would know." He listened to Svetlana, who seemed to be the talker in this occasion. It wasn't normal, not for her. Demitris relaxed, and wanted to get off the subject of the group and Dietrich. It wasn't the place for that, not know, not in public. Demitris shrugged, "What does bring the likes of you two out to Diagon Alley? I changed the subject because this is no time to speak of the Dark Prince, and of the group's problems. That should be reserved for meetings." The last part, his voice lowered to slightly above a whisper.
