Victoire had been walking along the corridor with Alex on her mind and the fact he had wanted her to help him with magic, and then upon walking along the sixth floor corridor a room had appeared, she hadn't ever seen that door before and it had taken her a little bit of courage to step inside but she had chosen to, and not been disappointed, it was a room unlike any she had seen before, small and cosy, but quiet and just right for just wanting to teach someone, for a private place to learn about the other person, to learn about magic and be able to do it with the preying eyes of the rest of the school body. It was not unlike the prefects common room, but still good enough. She had spent a good hour in the room before deciding that it was perfect and that she needed to show Alex it, however, when she'd returned the next day, it hadn't bee there. She had looked and looked for it, and just not found anything, perhaps she had just imagined the entire thing? It wasn't like Victoire to be the type of person to start imagining things but she had been under a particularly large amount of stress, so perhaps it was that.

In the end she had sent a note along to Alex telling him to meet her outside where she had first found the room, and she just began pacing waiting for him to turn up and thinking about how much they needed a quiet and private place to practice magic that couldn't be accessed by anyone they didn't first decide would be in the room and the door had once again appeared, it was almost the exact same as the room had been before and then stepping inside it had suddenly occurred to her that this was quite possibly the room that people searched for, a room only made for those who required it at any specific time, had she found it? The girl had no intention of telling anyone ever about it, perhaps not even explaining it to Alex about how she'd found it in the first place. The teen had brought books with her, though the room seemed to already have all the ones she's brought at more. It was just an amazing place, she couldn't believe that it existed in the school. Taking a small seat, Victoire wondered if Alex would even find it, or if he would just stand, walking around this floor until Victoire remerged, of course she had no clue about this room or really how it worked.

Alexander Carter walked along the sixth floor corridor as he walked towards the place that Victoire had told him to meet her. He had heard rumours of a special room in the castle before that was basically a complete secret to most of the inhabitants of the school. Naturally, a lot of people knew about the room but only a select few knew how it worked and it was a jealously guarded secret that they wouldn't share with anyone. They might not even be able to share it with anyone. Victoire probably knew a little bit more than he did but that was most likely only because she had been here for much longer than he had. This was still his first year, after all, and he still had a lot to learn about the castle. Alex arrived at the place she had specified and he frowned when he found there was no visible way in.

He couldn't understand how one was to get inside if there wasn't an entrance, surely there had to be something. He thought to himself. I just want to get to Victoire repeatedly and he found himself pacing as he struggled to think of a way to get to where she was. He wondered briefly if she had even given him the right location or if she had done this to try and get rid of him for the day. At that moment, a door began to visualise itself in the door and he smiled as it hollowed out and he was able to enter and there he saw Victoire sitting down and waiting for him. He smiled at her as the door closed behind him and he ran over and pulled her into a hug. "That door is crazy hard to get inside of." He said with a smile on his face.

Thing had been odd to say the least in Victoire's life, the Halloween feast had just passed them, and while things had been a little strange they had been nice. Being able to reconciliate even just a little with Jean had greatly lightened the burden of their weakening friendship on her back. It didn't help her own feelings about it, it didn't help her figure out how she felt about him, the reality of the statement within the Hogwarts Monthly , but it did at least acknowledge that the time for avoiding was over. However, this was just a factor of her life right now, and another one was Alex, and she liked Alex a lot, they had an easy friendship and Victoire enjoyed the time she spent with him, but it seemed like her own emotions were just a little all over the place, since she liked him, but wasn't sure how much she liked him. Victoire couldn't understand half of these emotions that were just firing left and right, she was suddenly finding more of the boys in her year and those above attractive, which she had never thought before. Her crush on Perseas had started because of how nice he'd been to her, not for any other reason.

As soon as the door opened and Victoire was graced with the sight of her friend, all the other thoughts were immediately discarded from her brain. She didn't want whatever was sitting on her mind to be there as she attempted to help him with what he needed her help with. She smiled brightly at him, and allowed him pull her into a hug which she gladly returned, the smile lingering on her face, Victoire allowed him to pull away and then just nodded at his words, "This room just came out of no where," she told him, "The room is the difficulty," she shrugged at him, before opening up her books, "Right come on Roi Soleil, we have work to be doing," Victoire grinned looking up at him, waiting for him to get settled and to tell her what he wanted to go over first, they were both busy people, and as much as she had carved out a good proportion of her time for this, she was more than happy to help, but she wanted to get straight to work, no delaying any of it.

[adminapproval=1132221]Alex just rolled his eyes as Victoire wanted to get straight to work. He hadn't expected anything less, that was just the kind of person that she was and he appreciated that part of her. He wanted to get as much done as he possibly could, but at the same time he wanted to spend as much time as he possibly could with her because he really enjoyed the time that he got to spend with her. She was an amazing person, and a really friendly girl. To top it all off, she was beautiful, and he really liked her. In the more then a friend way, that is. There was no doubt in his mind of those feelings that he had. He wouldn't voice them to her, not until he thought that she felt the same as him. He didn't want to ruin anything that they had for something that she might not even want them to share together. There was only so much good that Alex had going for him, and this was one of the best things.

Pushing all of those thoughts beside, Alex just gave her a smile and drew his wand. "I've been going good so far with the fourth year stuff, maybe start with the other years and we'll take it from there?" He said with a small chuckle. He knew that she would never judge him for being bad with magic, because that was why she was here helping him. "Maybe we should start with first years though. My parents never really taught me anything." He said, reflectively grabbing his arm as he did any time that he thought about them and what they had done to him. It still haunted him to this day, and he still had most of the bruises that they had given him. The lack of magical knowledge, though, was something that he would be able to help himself with. The bruises just increased his conviction and made him want to work harder. He smiled at Victoire, once again pushing the thoughts aside and waited for her instruction.

Victoire nodded along as he spoke, she understood that he was pretty good with the fourth year stuff, the stuff he was currently given the time to learn about, so it made sense in her head if she then was to teach him stuff from before that time, from the earlier years, which the Gryffindor girl was really more than happy to do. She looked at him with a curious expression as he talked about his parents and then seemed to do grow a little quieter, of course Victoire barely knew Alex really. He was nice, and she liked him, unsure in her mind about how much she liked him, but she wouldn't press him into saying anything about it, nor did she plan to ever really bring it up, "Well, that's a good place to start," she said to him, before pulling out the charms book which she'd had from first year, that had all her old notes scrawled within it. She opened it up and began explaining the different spells that they had done, trying to figure out where to really start and so, after explaining them all, at least the theory of them all she decided that he needed to do practical with that.

Victoire grabbed her own wand, sort of stopping mid-sentence and then pointed to the other side of the room where a black inked muggle pen was sitting on a spare surface, unobscured by anything, as if the room had known she might need it. She glanced between it and Alex, and then nodded her head, "Right, I want you to summon that pen," she told him, pointing over at it and then encouraging him to pick up his wand, "You know the spell, we've just gone over it, just point your wand, imagine it in your head and then do the spell," Victoire nodded in encouragement, if he managed it, which she was sure he would they could move forward, she wanted to cover as much as possible in this lesson so that he would be able to feel more at home within his lessons and within the wider school environment.
