Closed a place to call home

Casper chuckled, taking Lindens hands. "Well lucky for you I'm just asking you to keep your eyes on my feet," He teased, leading Linden a little more slowly up the path and around the corner, walking a little ways forward before stopping him. "Okay, look," He prompted, smiling so hard his face hurt. In front of them was an old, rundown log cabin- two stories, almost dauntingly huge, in a clearing ahead. Forest around it, a running stream, overgrown lawn. It was the perfect place to build, to add to. One with nature and yet apart. Casper was bouncing on his feet, biting his lip and clapping his hands together. "I talked to the realtor, he's willing to let us stay here this weekend and see what we think of the place, honestly he just seems to want to be rid of it, he's given me this super great price thats perfectly in our budget, we'd have a bit left over even," He looked to Linden, eyes sparkling.

Linden smiled as cas said he was just asking him to keep looking at his feet. If that is all I get to see, I'll follow you anywhere," he said, using one hand to hold Caspers and the other to shield his eyes from everything except the ground and the polar bears on Caspers socks. the ground turned from forrest path, to grass and he could feel the warmth of the sun on his back as they moved out from the shade to the sunlight. thet moved accross the grass for a few moments before they stopped and cas said that the could look.
he look up his eyes focusing on his husband first. the look on his face was like a kid at christmas. actually it was even more excited than a cas at christmas and that was saying something as christmas was his favorite time of the year. he turned his head to follow cas' gaze and saw a hut. saying it looked tired was a bit of a understatement. but over their time looking they had seen many houses and knew they would have to do osme renevations wherever they ended up. he wasnt sure if it was watching his dad renovate their house or spending too much time around caspers optimism but he could see the potential. and there was something so quaint and charming about the hut. he was pretty sure they. ould make it really nice. plus the location. he wasnt sure where they were exactly but it felt a long way from muggles and the views were stunning and there was so much space. and they were close to the woods too. "I L- I like it." he said being careful not to show too much enthusiasm at least until he had seen it up close and inside but from first sight he was already pocturing them sitting on the back patio looking up at the stars maybe they should even get a hot tub, how nice would that be. and he could organise with his mum to charm the boundry so he could bring some of his animasl home from work if they needed extra care.
