Ava found herself walking around her room for at least ten minutes. She had no classes today and no plans. She couldn't seem to find anyone she knew, which really were only her dorm mates. She didn't even know them all that well. But they were the closest things to friends that she had - except for Sterling though she didn't really know what category he fitted into. After those minutes of boredom she decided to change from her pyjamas and wander the castle in hope of finding someone she knew even if it was Lisa...well, maybe not. She wasn't at such a low point yet.

Ava fixed her stylish outfit in the mirror before leaving her dorm. Once Ava left the common room she found herself in the cold dungeons which she hated. She guessed she was the only Slytherin who didn't like the dungeons, it was their territory afterall. But she just hated the darkness of them, the dampness of them and she had to admit she was a little creeped out by them. She quickly ran out of them as she did everyday. Thankfully today she didn't meet anyone, on the days that people were in the dungeons they would usually shoot glares and confused faces at her as she rushed by them. What was worse they usually were all Slytherin.

Ava pushed open the door which let her out of the darkness of the dungeons and into the brightly lit Entrance Hall where a few people gathered in small groups talking and laughing. Ava rolled her eyes at them bitterly though it was mainly out of jealously, she hadn't found herself a group of friends. She hadn't even found herself a friend. Not really. What bugged her most was that when she was about to start Hogwarts she had visions of herself being 'Ms.Popular' and that everyone wanted to hang out with Ava Prince. It seemed to be the complete opposite. She shook her head almost wishing that these thoughts would vanish from her head. She had to find something to do and fast.

She looked over at the four large hourglasses in the centre of the hall. She hadn't really paid much attention to them all year and since there was nothing better to do she walked over to them. A small smile spread across her face as she saw that Slytherin were coming in second place. Hopefully they would win it this year. They would be in the lead if it wasn't for that Lexi girl who seemed to sabotage Slytherin's chance of winning. Would she ever learn? Ava looked at the other hourglasses and was surprised to see Ravenclaw coming last. "Weren't they supposed to be smart?" She said quietly to herself. Her eyes flickered to Slytherin's hourglass as she saw movement. Points were just added and it now came to a total of '1377'. She looked at the hourglass filled with brick red grains, soon Slytherin would top them Ava thought hopefully.

Sophia had been sitting in her dorm room on her own. It was sad to admit that she had little to no friends, in fact the only one that she did have was Jack, who was a Hufflepuff first year. She had met two girls she really couldn't stand, Sydney and Imogen. This Slytherin loathed Gryffindors with a passion so it was a given that she didn't like Imogen, and Sydney well she was just arrogent.

After a moment of staring straight ahead with big green eyes, she stood up and changed into a pretty white dress with a brown belt. Sophia braided her dark brown hair then looked into the mirror. She smiled and nodded in approval, she had a nude style of make up and she looked good.

Sophia left her dorm room with a silent sigh, hoping that she would meet someone that she liked. She was begining to feel a little lonely, not that she would ever admit to such an emotion, because she had invisioned being a popular girl when she began at Hogwarts. She thought people would want to be her friend, but it didn't seem to be that way. This was why all the laughing and happy groups of friends aggrivated her.

In frustration did Sophia Bedlam walk towards the doors that lead to the Grounds, only to be distracted by some girl's howling laughter and she walked into a girl she didn't know standing in front of the House Points Board. Her cheeks flushed in embarassment as she pulled herself up. The Slytherin straightened her dress and smiled meekly at the blond girl. "Sorry," she said with her strong Italian accent playing on each of her words.

//Sorry that was kind of bad\\

Ava continued to watch the four hourglasses looking to see if there was any more points added or taken away. Great. This is what my school life has become. She thought sarcastically in her head. Suddenly out of nowhere Ava felt a push and she staggered sideways though she managed to catch herself before she fell completely. No one wants to talk to me and I'm invisiable. She continued to think as she looked at the girl who bumped into her. If the girl wasn't so nicely dressed Ava would have shouted at her. But look where shouting got her.

Ava brushed down her clothes. "Doesn't matter." She said with an absent-minded wave of her hand. She looked at the brunette to see if she recognised her. She thought she saw her a couple of times in class but that was about it. "Cute dress." Ava said with a small smile. She rarely complimented anyone because usually she didn't like what others were wearing. Bt this girl was an exception. She looked good and that was always a first step in becoming Ava Prince's friend.
