Anna-Jo was never one to throw herself out into the world, she was not a shy person but she also wasn't the same attention seeking girl that was her youngest sister Fleur. As she walked up to her friend's flat she couldn't believe she was getting ready to go out clubbing with her friends that night. A few of the friends were up from Paris that night and the one who lived in London had invited them all over to get ready to go out partying for the evening. While Anna-Jo did really like her friends, all of these being from Beauxbatons, she wasn't sure about the dancing and drinking aspect. It was going to be a new experience for her. Putting on her outfit she got teased mercilessly by her friends by her simple biker jacket over black ripped jeans and t-shirt. Her friends begged her to take off the jacket and put on something more interesting than just a t-shirt. One of the girls, Amelie offered her a plunging strappy bralette to wear in place of the t-shirt and through massive amounts of peer pressure Anna-Jo put on the top and covered herself back up with her faux-leather jacket. She was certain once arriving at the club it would be too warm to keep her jacket on but she'd rather not walk the streets in the top. Her friends wore different versions of short dresses and skirts with skimpy tops. It made her feel a little less pressured knowing the eyes would be on them and not herself while they were out. One of the other girls pulled out a bottle of vodka and cups and the drinking started before they even left the flat.
The young adult couldn't lie, the drink warmed her up inside and made her feel more comfortable and relaxed as it did. They started heading out the door and Anna-Jo glanced back into the dark of the flat as the door shut behind her. She didn't have a clue how this night was going to change so much about the person she thought she was. She wore a simple pair of ankle boots knowing they could easily get ruined through out the night after hearing horror stories of beautiful shoes her friends had worn out and not wanting the same for her own. They walked to the club nearby the flat and even outside Anna-Jo could hear the music pumping. She was surprised that people enjoyed these types of places where the music was so loud you wouldn't be able to talk to anyone. They got in pretty fast, probably to do with the outfits her friends were wearing. It seemed like a pretty basic club, a large dance floor with tables and round booths around it, a dj blasting out the music and crazy lights. She was glad she came for the girl's night but she wished they had gone somewhere quieter. It didn't take her long to spot him. A guy off at a table by himself sipping a drink. He had a fairly similar outfit to the one she had currently and if she had kept her tshirt on they would have matched nearly perfectly. But that wasn't what drew her eye to him. She knew he was probably a muggle and therefore any type of relationship with him was out of the books. It didn't stop her from glancing in his direction throughout the evening. Shrugging off her jacket and leaving it neatly folded on the spot next to her in the booth she smiled and laughed with the rest of the girls while trying to keep up with their drinking. Anna-Jo wasn't looking forward to the dancing part of the evening but when it came down to it she ended up having more fun than she thought she would, probably because the amount of alcohol in her system made her believe it was fun.
At some point during the evening Amelie spotted her looking over at the mysterious guy and prodded her about him. "Who's that?" The friend asked Anna-Jo. "I don't know! He looks pretty fit to me though!" Anna-Jo yelled back to her friend so the woman could hear her. Their conversation went on and after a bit Amelie started to tell Anna-Jo to go over and talk to the guy. She told her, that she'd always wonder about this guy when she was old and married to a boring guy and she might as well enjoy herself now and met the guy who caught her eye. Anna-Jo was blushing through out the talk but she had to admit it seemed like a good way to look at things. She knew she'd think about this guy for the next few weeks wondering more and more who he was. It wouldn't hurt in this public place to at least get a name, and Amelie laughed and added she could probably get more than just a name. The beer was talking to her brain shutting it off and telling her to follow what her heart was saying, or more likely what her body was saying. She walked over towards the guy her head spinning in a way that wasn't from thoughts but from her drinks and the dancing. Glancing over her shoulder she could see the group of girls waving her on and laughing. She smiled and looked back towards the guy her mind starting to wonder what she should say. Amelie had tried to suggest things to her but the music had been so loud and her heart pumping so hard now it made it difficult to think. She smiled a little wondering if he had seen her coming or not. " 'ello there! I thought you might fancy a fresh drink?" Anna-Jo asked as she held two beers in her hand. She thought it would be a better offer than a dance knowing she wouldn't be able to dance the way her friends did only really knowing how to do a simple back and forth motion of dance. She was trying her best to be this outgoing girl who always approached the guy but she wasn't too sure how well she pulled it off. Though if he was half as intoxicated as she was he might fall for it.
