A howl for help <3

{Out of Character - If you would like to PM your apology letter to me and then post in the common room that you are putting it up, then I will post it on the bulletin board for you}

Professor Manteia glared down at the girl from his rather impressive height. "Provided that you understand what is expected of you, both in terms of your consequences for today's action and of your behavior in the future, then yes, you may leave." The Slytherin Head stated with a clarity of tone that suggested almost no emotion in his voice. The students of his house were going to be in for an extremely difficult year unless they avoided such unfathomably inappropriate actions.

Estrella nodded to Professor Manteia, listening as the Slytherin Head of House doled out punishments to both of the girls. The Head Girl thought that 40 points was harsh, but necessity was necessity. Hopefully any scorn either of these girls received from their housemates over the blow to their race in the house cup would be a wake-up call. She knew that it must have been painful for the Arithmancy professor to take away so many points, but she admired him all the more for it. Some professors probably would have been more concerned about winning the house cup than teaching those under their charge a lesson.

She held her hands behind her back, knowing that it would only be polite to wait to be dismissed. The Ravenclaw wondered when and how the Hampton girl was going to give her an apology letter. It would definitely be interesting to see what the girl would dish out. Estrella had a feeling that the girl was probably not feeling particularly charitable towards her at the moment.

Professor Manteia turned to the Head Girl and offered an almost apologetic smile of his own "Thank you Miss Drage. We are fortunate that you happened upon the situation before someone was hurt. I will see you in class." With the matter resolved to his satisfaction, Professor Manteia turned on his heel and disappeared down the stone corridor after a short series of his powerful strides. Despite the rather sizable hole that he had just placed Slytherin in, he believed that this wake-up call was a necessary evil and that the two girls would probably put more efforts into their coursework in an effort to make up for their transgression. If the numbers were right, this would be Slytherin's year anyway.
