A Garden Stroll

'How much food would you provide me with then?'Alex asked back, tmepted just to say try me but decided agaisnt it.
 
"More then you've had in your whole life," Harri said simply shrugging like it was no big deal, "I know you definatly couldn't do it though," she said grinning.

Nina walked down to the Garden from the tents hoping to get a better look at their selection. When Nina saw Alex she skipped over happily, and then she head a girl say,"More then you've had in your whole life." And when she saw the look on Alex's face she knew she was talking about food. Then the girl said, "I know you definatly couldn't do it though." Nina hugged Alex from behind him and said, "You obviously don't know Alex then."

Harri smiled as another girl approached "Hey I'm Harri," she said beaming, "Just having a little bet on food here!" she said laughing.
 
Alex smiled and was about to say a smark remark back when someone hugged him from behind. 'Hey,Nina,'he said before turning round to see if he was right which he hwas. He smiled. 'You siad it,'he added. 'How are you?'
 
"I am good and you?" Nina asked directing this question to all of them. "Nice to meet you Harri, I am Nina Patrokov." Nina smiled warmly.
 
"Hey Nina," Harri said then it clicked "Your the Hogwarts Scotland Champion aren't you!" she said astonished that she had actually met her, which of course was stupid seeing as she knew the other too, "Nice to meet you," she said snapping back to reality.
 
'Yeah she is and she's one of the best that's why,'Alex said before Nina could reply. he smiled and stuck his togue out at her playfully.
 
Nina blushed a deep red and said quietly after Alex had replied for her, "Yeah thats me." Nina stuck out her toungue back at Alex then releasing her grip and she stood beside Alex happily.
 
Harri smiled "You looking forward to all the tasks ahead?" she asked, she was excited to watch them but thought it would probably be pretty scary to actually take part.
 
"Umm I think I should be fine." Nina said, but the truth was that she was shaking in her boots, and Alex knew it.
 
Harri smiled, thinking that Nina didn't really want to talk about it, "So you liking New Zealand?" she asked, resorting to the question she always asked in awkward times.
 
Alex sighed jokingly. 'It will be fine, no maybes,'Alex said smilign, giving her freindly push. and waiting for her to answer Harri's question.
 
"Okay Alex, I will be fine." Nina said jokingly and shuffed him back but barely moving him. "I love it here, it is so beautiful." Nina said answering Harri's question happily. "I am excited for winter. I have already made a couple plans." Nina said happily, she loved the winter and was excited for the Yule Ball most of all, but she wasn't sure if she was going to ask anyone at all, she knew who she wanted to ask but was nervous to ask and hoped he would end up asking her. "I promised a Durmstrang student I would go skating with him, it should be fun seeing as I have never skated before." Nina said laughing at her own stupidity.
 
Harri smiled "Glad you like it!" she said "Wow! Skating that should be fun, where you planning on skating?" she asked.
 
Alex smiled. 'Oh, since when did you know any Drumstrang students?'Alex asked. He had yet to bump into any one of them but he wasn't goign to go looking for them like some of the girls who hung around at the lake constantly. 'You'll have to take me too,'Alex joked.
 
"On the lake." Nina said happily. "Oh a little while after the banquet I walked into two people and one happened to be from Durmstrang. He already knows Isabella and Asher." Nina said frowning, she knew Isabella, and she knew that her dignity had been hurt by that, but whose wouldn't. "Of course I'll take you!" Nina said, unsure if she was really just thinking about skating.
 
Harri smiled "Sounds nice!" she said "Oh and its the yule ball soon! Who you taking, cause your a champion you'll have the first dance, won't you!" she said to Nina.
 
Nina blushed a deep red once again and said quietly, almost whispering, "I don't know, I am kind of hoping someone will ask me." Nina emphasized the 'someone' so they knew there was someone she liked, but hadn't told anyone yet. "It is still early." Nina said kind of patheticly.
 
Harri smiled at the emphasis of 'someone' "So you think this someone will ask you?" she asked casually, "Yeah it is still early, plenty of time for a boy to cotton on," she said smiling.
 
Nina blushed a little and said, "It's too early to tell." Nina smiled sheepishly and said, "What about you two anyone for you?"
 
"Well my boyfriend doesn't come here and I doubt anyone else would ask me, so I guess I'm not attending this year!" Harri said, it would be ashame seeing as it was the TWT but she would look weird going on her own and she knew no-one would ask her.
 
"Oh if I don't get 'him' to ask me, you and I will go together." Nina said, hoping that it would bring Harri's spirits up.
 
Harri smiled, that was a nice thing to say. "I have a feeling 'he' will ask you, but I'm sure I can find someother victim to drag along with me! Plus I'm not sure how that would look me and you having the first dance!" she said laughing, there was no point dwelling and she decided to make an effort to go with someone. no matter who it was, "So how about you Alex, who you planning on taking?" she asked, she wasn't sure why but she thought Nina and Alex would be a great couple.
 
'Oh, you know,'Alex said smiling. 'I'll just get a victim dragged along with me. There ain't no way someone'll want my two left feet with them,'Alex joked smiling.
